I'm not entirely sure. I don't GURP, but it could be. I'll look.

And its amazingly good. I'm starting guys sixth book today.

Probably one of the best fantasies I've read ever.

I might incorporate some inAllaria, if I get a computer.

how can Arthur tell when he touches Adrian? he is cutting blindly into an orb of black burning energy that is flying towards him.

He'd know when his sword hit something conductive. He'd be able to feel the current in Adrian's body.

Ok, so throughout this entire fight I've been debating with myself about whether or not Arthur's electrocution ability is overpowered. I still haven't been able to decide if he won because that's the case, or if it was just because he's a tier 5. I thought that limiting his ranged ability to requiring something conductive would make the ability kosher, but now I'm not entirely sure given how easy it was to win. In light of that, I open the question to the rest of you.

Does Arty's ability need rebalancing in order to tone down his electrocution ability?

I think that's for the best, yes. Electricity is always a troublesome element, really hard to balance because it's just that fast.

Seconded. That ability is already powerful on itself, and combined with Arty's ability to sense electromagnetic fields and superhumanly acute organs of perception, there are very few opponets who could defeat him without any sort of heat resistant (or else it will get burnt to cinders after a single hit) electric isolation. I mean, you can't even take cover or use a lightning rod to protect yourself.

I'm destroying everything ever written by Robin Hobb at the moment (which are currently my favourite fantasy books, eva.) but I may check those out.

If anyone wants to fight the statue man feel free to let me know.

Those are the ones, and I can't describe how pleasantly surprised I was with it.

I shall see if the library has them. I'm pretty happy with the assassins in Malazan though, especially Kalam. Dude is a beast.

Is Arthur looting anything?

No. He's not. None of you really have anything he can use... Gregor literally only had his clothes until he transformed, Adrian only had his mace (which I assume isn't lootable, though it isn't exactly specified), and Evvie doesn't have anything he'd be willing to chase her body to get (or that he'd even have knowledge of besides her gauntlet and staff, which are both un-lootable).

Though if Adrian's mace is lootable I'll happily take that.

it is, but Arthur couldn't wield it without it burning his hands, and it constantly trying to get him killed its a demon lords mace. I mean im rewriting Adrian in his angel form now so go ahead and take it if you want, but make sure that you remember that its going to hurt Arthur, and it is demonic so it may do some weird stuff to fuck with him later, like try to possess him.

How would an inanimate object with no consciousness or soul try to possess him? Just because a weapon was forged by demons doesn't mean it's a demon itself. And wouldn't killing a devil lord make Arthur himself a lord of devils? ;)

no he isn't a lord of devils sorry bro, he is a badass for killing the equivalent of satan, but not a devil lord he doesn't have demon blood. Its more a plot thing its a devil lords mace, and it does have a soul if you read it was forged from adrians old swords, remember adrians old black sword it had a soul that could think for itself. it wouldn't bone him later, but it would burn the shit out of his hands, be heavy as hell to carry around everywhere, and prolly do some stupid shit at some point. Then again it utterly skullfucks demons and angels and they will ll wonder why you have it.

First he was a man, then a devil, then an angel. Kill him again and he may just become Cthulhu.
THIS ISN'T EVEN MY FINAL FORM!
