its not up to me, and considering my mechs a direct rip off of FMP's M9E(?) Gernsback i cant cast any stones against mech choice, but that mech/robot looks alot more advanced then others. it might take a bit of writeing to fit it into a mercinary corp.

*actually changed my mind, I liked that mech pic and took me a long time to find a good one. You got skinny mechs in here too so I don't see why he looks too advanced. Not to be a jerk but I really like the pics :)

it is cool, but i was referring to the organic like structure, the armor looked like it was made of a flexible material. i personally dont have a big issue with it, but it just seems like really advanced hardware for a merc group. all the other mechs have obvious robot-like joints and are blocky. i guess im just nitpicking, its up to Aristo anyway.

ill give ya that it does look quite flexible. how about we just call it angled armor plating that similar to what the old stealth jets were outfitted with. similar to a Blackbird or a stealth bomber. if aristo says no than ill just surf Deviantart for a couple hours lol

I'd agree with Incubus that it doesn't really gel with the visual aesthetic of the other frames, it looks a lot more fluid and organic. But it's up to Aristo at the end, of course.

S'not really a mech; it looks like a robot drone, or w/e, like Geth.

Hey dudes; given that I've been concentrating on other interests and studies, my Mobile Frame thing is becoming a little stagnant. I don't want to give up on the setting, but I think that I'm just a bit unsuited to keeping up with GMing players, while occupied by other pursuits. That said, Silver's GEARs setting is probably more thought-out and has a clear direction at this point, and I'll hold my mecha needs over with it rather than trying to keep up with a RP I can't properly manage. I'd advise everyone participating in Mobile Frame to try out GEARs as a result, if you aren't already involved. Sorry for the letdown; I just have too many things going on to GM a setting, and I should know this from previous experience!
That said, I'm fond of having the opportunity to build and write the Mobile Frame setting with the help of Silver and TolarianDrake in the original Guild, and in time, you can probably expect some short stories and material from me set in that universe. I don't plan to give up on it; it'll just cease to be a roleplay and more of a setting/story. If you're interested, however, I wouldn't mind collaborations; in fact, what I loved about creating MF was the cooperation of others in building it.

While I do appreciate the positive nods towards GEARs - and if I do say so myself, it is awesome - I'm currently full up on players, with 12 people currently involved. If anyone drops out you're welcome to join in (if you're not already involved), but if you want to read along you're more than welcome to do so. I didn't know it would be so popular o.0

As far as collabs go, I'd be happy to do something like that again, I love collaborating on creating things!
