"The trip to Imperial City's a long one. We're going to have to take the long way around Tamriel. Come into my quarters, I'll show you our course."

Hargjorn entered his captain's quarters, motioning for the two men to follow him inside. The room was fairly well decorated, although it was humble, given his actual income. On top of a table, there was a map, next to a red inkpot and quill. The inkpot had a magical insignia on it, the symbol of conjuration. Drevayne would be able to identify it as an Alchemist's Inkpot, a fairly minor magical item that allowed one to both write and magically erase writing without leaving a trace.

Hargjorn started drawing a route on the map, explaining as he did so.

"You see, we've got to skirt around Tamriel's east edge, following the shallows as well as we can. Our first stop is Necrom, in Old Morrowind. After that, it's Lilmoth in Black Marsh, then Alabaster in Elsewyr, and it'll all finish off with our destination, Imperial City in Cyrodiil. Any questions?"

"Heh, none save the one's I've already asked that you haven't answered." Drevayne commented with a wave, not paying much attention to the map. He know his way round the empire, he'd walked half of it.

"But I'll say it again cause I wasn't quite clear. You've banded an adventuring crew together, but you haven't stated the adventure. Rightabouts now, you look like a merchant, if you catch my drift, heh."

"Which of these places," Drevayne finally put a glance and a finger to the map, pointing at each city in turn, "Do you intend on finding a fire in need of blades to quench it? Or we just guarding the boat being merchants till we find a job?"

Lysander nodded at Drevayne's statement. "We aren't merchants. I mean, I'm perfectly willing to give you a quarter of any earnings I recieve from this voyage, but it seems that we, as our Elven friend says, are guards. Now, I like simple work as much as the next man, butI signed on for an element of... spontaneous adventure, lets call it. So, until we find work more in our experitise, are the Elf and I meant to guard your cargo?"

"Well, I never said anything about not seeking adventure in our ports of call. Sure, there's going to be some commerce involved, but this is a merchant vessel, after all. However, the ship's got plenty of guards, so we can adventure to our heart's desire while we're in port."

Hargjorn cleared his throat, tapping the area just under his throat with the flat of a balled fist.

"I'm sure we can plenty of hot-blooded adventure in all of our stops. Does that answer satisfy you gentlemen?"
