"The trip to Imperial City's a long one. We're going to have to take the long way around Tamriel. Come into my quarters, I'll show you our course."
Hargjorn entered his captain's quarters, motioning for the two men to follow him inside. The room was fairly well decorated, although it was humble, given his actual income. On top of a table, there was a map, next to a red inkpot and quill. The inkpot had a magical insignia on it, the symbol of conjuration. Drevayne would be able to identify it as an Alchemist's Inkpot, a fairly minor magical item that allowed one to both write and magically erase writing without leaving a trace.
Hargjorn started drawing a route on the map, explaining as he did so.
"You see, we've got to skirt around Tamriel's east edge, following the shallows as well as we can. Our first stop is Necrom, in Old Morrowind. After that, it's Lilmoth in Black Marsh, then Alabaster in Elsewyr, and it'll all finish off with our destination, Imperial City in Cyrodiil. Any questions?"
