Taking another sip from her coffee, holding the steering wheel with one hand Paige glances at Jemal, who was clapping his fingers constantly against his knee "don't be nervous" said his adoptive sister, but he seemed to have ignored her looking out the window "All my life" he began saying "Alex has spent so much time researching me and my curse, how did sh.." - "Gift" Paige cut him off, "The place we are going to calls it a gift", Jemal looked at Paige long and hard "how did you even find this place? I never heard of it", Paige put her coffee into the cup holder and opened the box sitting between the seats "look inside", Jemal pulled out a letter with 'Waverly Academy' witten over it "I didn't find this place" she said "they found us", picking up her coffee again "or you anyway", A school for the gifted, Jemal couldn't wrap his head around the concept, he grew up with only one reality and never considered what else is out there, "Gifted... are there going to be other kids who can do what I do?" he asked, "maybe" she said as they parked "we're here..."

They both got out of her destroyed red Toyota corolla, she walked up ahead and turned around to look at the horrific dent on her bumper "If only I was" she said as she crossed her fingers "Gifted... I would make my car look as good as new", "or kill anyone in it" said Jemal, causing Paige to sigh as she reached out for his hand "lets go".

they walked up to the entrance of the school, what looked like just another private school and paused, "whats wrong?" asked Jemal, "I never really told anyone we were coming" she said laughing "I guess I was hoping some superman would be standing outside waiting to greet us" jokingly, "you know" she said as she turned to look at Jemal and mockingly said "we were expecting you"...

Cru hears someone yell out at him and he sees a young guy at the table beckoning to him. He walks over to all of them and sits down at the seat, taking the guy's offer without a word. He looks around the table and clears his throat, saying, "Uh, hi. I'm Cru."

"Hello, What is it you can do?" Vince asks as Pip brings him his pizza and he starts chowing down.

"maybe we should just go home" said Jemal, as he walked away "hold up, what??" Paige ran over to him and grabbed him by the hand "what are you talking about? this is great!" she reached for his chin and turned his head to look at her "just" she wasn't sure how to word her next sentence "accept the help they offer, learn how to use your gift, and once you have mastered it, you are welcome to come live with me again", Jemal looked a little weak however "Ty" she said, it was how she used to call him when they were little "are you okay?", "we should go home, I have a headache" at that point Paige was actually considering taking Jemal home, but then she noticed that his skin began showing burn like marks "no" he appeared to be losing control of his gift again "this is exactly why we are here, we are going to get help", Jemal walked over and leaned on the railings, "ok, just give me a few minutes, I can make it go away" he said as he closed his eyes and sat down.

Paige was an impatient woman, she let Jemal stay outside while she went inside to talk to someone, the moment she walked in the place was full of people, lots of chatter all going somewhere, the court yard she heard someone say, as she walked forward. To her amazement, she witnessed things she thought were impossible, her jaw dropped at the sight of kids playing with their gifts, the show took away her breath, she lost balance and fell backwards against the wall.

Paige ran back outside "The court yard, lets go", she said to Jemal, "but my head hurts" he said, "we will deal with that after" she finished as she grabbed his hand and the both headed to the court yard.

"Hello, What is it you can do?" Vince asks as Pip brings him his pizza and he starts chowing down.

"I'm a teleporter," Cru explains, pulling out his food. He begins to munch on it while he looks at Vince. "What can you do?"

shiro pulled out a small black box and lifted the lid revealing several small sticks held vertical in 2 rows of 5. taking one out he brought it up to his face wich soon disapered in the shadow of his hood, taking a long drag of the stick the end pices lit a dull red color. exhaling a cloud of vapor that smelled like strawberrys as he slowly reached out for the food infront of him. "so what kind of teleportation can you do?"

Vince eats the entire stack of ten pizzas, then takes a sip of ambrosia. "Thats neat, I dint know how to discribe what I do... It's really preaty much what all of you can do, but a lot harder...

Cru looks at the strange shadowed man and says, "I can teleport myself and others place to place. At least one of us has to be thinking of the place though and it takes a lot of energy for me to do it." He turns back to Vince. "A lot harder to control or a lot harder to use?" He takes a bite out of his plain sandwich and munches on it.

"I have to draw a glyph to do something, and it's more complex and time consuming the harder the task is. It's taxing on my personal energy as well of course."

School Counselor
Klein St. Markus silently walks up to the table and takes a glance at each of their faces, his eyes lingering on Vince and on Cru in particular.
"I hope we have a wonderful year together. I look forward to seeing you guys out in the courtyard in a little bit. Please feel free to showcase your powers there and let's see what you can do." With that, Klein walked out of the dining hall and headed to the courtyard, where there were practice dummies made of straw set up. That table had an interesting bunch and he looked forward to seeing their capabilities.

Seth stood up. "Yeah! I'm gonna go head outside guys! I'll see you out there!" he said excitedly and ran off, exiting the dining hall.

Mr. Sean, calmly stands up with an expectant look on his face and walks out alongside Ms. Haswell and Ms Rina.
"Headmaster, we'll get things organized in the courtyard. We'll see you out there. Ta ta~" He said, a little....flamboyantly.

Cru nods, watching the guy, Seth, he had heard, run off. "Ah okay. I guess you and I have something in common." Suddenly, he wasn't hungry anymore. He sets down his lunch and stands up. "I'm going to head out as well. See y'all there." He nods to Vince. "Thanks for the invitation to sit." He steps away from the table and walks toward the courtyard.

"well, I supose we all have to get going now." Vince says, sighing, after he downs the last plain pie and his glass of ambrosia.

Meanwhile, two sisters walked through the hallway heading towards the courtyards. After eating to their heart's content, Claire and Desiree were feeling rather bloated. The opportunity to get outside was perfect and seeing others use their powers was a plus as far as Claire was concerned whereas Desiree was more concerned with seeing the students they were dealing with.
"Yeah! It's kinda like recess, don't you think Claire?" Desiree hummed happily as she strolled beside her sister. "We just ate a lot, ya know, so we've gotta burn off it off somehow. Oh, no more reading underneath the tree like you usually do. Jeez, I think you should meet more people since it's a new school and all, don't be such an ice queen. You'll never find true love that way~"
Claire smiled to herself and shook her head, "What's wrong with having high standards?"
Desiree shrugged, "Well, we're going to need friends so I say we tag along with a group and get to know them. You know how it is with every school, you gotta find a group you can hang with and study with...not that you'll have a problem with grades."
The grey haired girl agreed. She smoothed down and dusted off her blue and white themed outfit, making sure there weren't any stains from the pasta she had ate. It was her favorite outfit and although she had another set, this one felt a little more comfortable to her. She flexed her fingers and felt the familiar cold feeling in her fingertips.

The two entered the courtyard and looked around, seeing a few students already out there and showing off their powers. There were straw dummies and targets set up all around the courtyard. They both choose a bench and sat down, observing the magic happen around them.

Daniel walked into the cafeteria only to find it empty, except for a couple stragglers who were frantically headed out. “Aw. I missed lunch, really? Whatever,” he muttered to himself. Luckily, he'd bought some snacks for the taxi ride, which was shorter than he'd expected it to be, thanks to the driver being a bit... enthusiastic with his driving. He didn't know if it was against company rules to tune up your cab, but he was pretty sure that guy had, regardless.
He picked up his guitar case and walked out the door the last few people had, stepping into a courtyard with a few plastic dummies that a couple of kids were already terrorizing. Honestly, he was surprised they'd lasted more than a second, since the powers being used should be able to take most people down easily. Looking around, he found a tree. It was a nice one, definitely big enough to shade several people. He sat down and unlatched his guitar case, and almost pulled out the miniature amp he kept in it before leaving it. He could amp it with his own power, after all. It wouldn't look out of place somewhere were everyone was nigh on magical.
Leaning against the tree, he debated what to play. Eventually, he strummed a C, and began playing Hey There Delilah. He managed a good few listeners, though not as much as he normally would've- there were superpowers being used, after all- and someone even threw him a dollar, which he didn't think would do him much good here. “Hey punk,” someone shouted. “Your power the ability to learn the lamest song you can find?” Daniel went back to playing, not even looking to where the voice came from, but the guy persisted. “Hey, I'm talkin' to you, kid. What's your problem?” Daniel stopped playing and stared him in the eye. “Shut up. Or do you want me to hurt you?” The kid cackled. “A little punk like you, hurt me? Maybe if I laugh myself to death.” Daniel didn't respond. Instead, he racked his mind for the right song. There. He amped a bit louder, and added an overdrive for good measure, then he played, fingers flying on the upper frets. Once the kid was visibly in pain, he played a final note, holding it. “Sound manipulation. You got an earful of Through the Fire and the Flames about twice as loud as if you heard it live. Standing right next to the speaker. Now screw off.” Daniel sat back down and started playing another song, not even checking is the kid was okay. Not like he deserved it, anyway.

Vince got up with everyone else and they all went out to the courtyard and he was there in time for him to see the the musical assault. "Hale sir bard, you seem a likely candidate"

As he was sitting down to resume playing, he heard someone call out to him. Looking to where the voice came from, he saw a jittery kid with fox ears call to him. He set his guitar down and walked over. "Hey. What's this about me being a candidate?"

"Master kitsune wants me to Make powerful friends. You seem good, the name's Vince whatsoever yours." Vince said, wringing his hands.
