Yea, I did not get around to posting yesterday. I finally got around to watching the first series of Magi yesterday, really good anime. Then moved onto trying to catch up on the Legend of Korra, of which I had watched only the first season. Now I am like halfway through the second season. Still, the post is up now.

Kyle, your taste in anime disappoints me! SAO is an under-realized concept that is little more than the author's power/harem fantasy in a video game setting. It skips over two years of actual events to focus on the protagonist pretty much going on dates with girls in the game. Plot is left out for the sake of (kind of) developing a romance between a Gary Sue and a Badass chick who becomes a damsel in distress, who then becomes irrelevant.

Swerd Ert was okay I guess. Wasn't great, nor was it as bad as Zeph might say. Its one of those anime you can just watch without having to think any at all. Like potato chips. You can just keep watching it and feel slightly bad while you do.

Completely agree tbh, but it's still a concept I love. Which is why this rp takes part on a different server with different characters.

I rant mostly because it has a huge fanbase despite its horrendous mediocrity. It reminds me how easily humanity can be tricked into liking something with enough hype-inducing marketing. It' just like when I see my friends playing Destiny: A shining example of mediocrity winning over quality.

And I have added Dave's CS to my post in the Character Sheets Thread. That's right, everyone's favorite sarcastic git that can't keep his nose out of people's business or his hands out of people's pockets (or his fuckin' mouth shut) is now an actual main character. I will be focusing on Catherine more often, however.

I also threw in a reference pic for Catherine in her CS, which may or may not have been a 20 second google image search for "tomboyish pixie cuts."
