Ash shrugged slightly, as she stared down at the ground. It was the weirdest feeling in the world. In one moment, she felt like she could trust Jason completely, but in another moment she felt something off about the boy. She squeezed her hand slightly, and traced her eyes up to his, "Let's just walk." She replied softly.
Jason nodded at her and began to walk with her, his cheeks were still slightly flushed with color at the fact that the two of them were holding hands as they walked. But he was certainly not about to complain or let go of her hand while they walked.
Ash remained absolutely quiet as the pair of them walked along. Ash wasn't sure what she was feeling, even now. The connection she felt with Jason wasn't inherently romantic, but just felt as if she could just trust him. Ash wondered exactly what these feelings meant, but she decided to keep quiet.
As Jason tripped and fell flat on the ground, Ash slightly yelped, surprised at how fast, and hard, Jason had hit the ground. Instantly, Ash fell to her knees, and placed a hand on Jason's back, "Are you alright?" She asked, concern lacing her voice.
"My pride hurts like hell but other than that yeah I'm good." He said as he got up and looked at her. "That was really embarassing" He said with a soft laugh to himself.
Ash raised from her postion at a knee, and smiled softly at Jason, "You're such a dork." She said, as she bravely reached out with her hand and grabbed Jason's hand.
"Hey, just because I don't have a life, doesn't mean I'm a dork. Dork" Jason responds playfully, something about being around Ash made him just so playful. It was kind of a strange feeling for the boy
