Congratulations on sticking with me this far in your interests of Genesis! If you want a plot summary please revisit the IntChk ([HERE](http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/75054/posts/ooc#post-2314779)) as I do not repeat myself needlessly if I can keep from it. Here in this OOC place my first thing to tell you about is the basics of plot for chapter one. As we know already the earth is in turmoil and yada yada,... Well almost. Chapter one actually starts right at the beginning of the apocalypse! So nobody knows about fissures yet and whatnot. It all begins at St.Peter's Hospital in the middle of a town called Hope. If you couldn't be any more ironic. A high school legend (in this sense not a very good legend to some), Dallas Johnson, has been put into a coma by a car accident. His mother has finally opened up to visitors. This is where you guys come in. All seven players must be in the same room by the second post rotation in order for the roleplay to continue as planned, if it takes just a bit longer that won't be to bad honestly. When all characters are gathered Dallas will awake with some information that will further the plot line. So with that out of the way here are some posting conventions. -As this roleplay goes on look for ** *paragraphs like this* ** describing necessary player information needed to understand the direction of the plot. -We will be posting in such a way that the next "post rotation" does not happen until all seven players have completed the prior. Unlike previous attempts with this RP we will not be utilizing a turn based system, so order doesn't matter until I say otherwise. - Italics will be used for "flashbacks" that help flesh out the characters history rather than it happening in the CS. That way players don't have to look back to your CS every time they need to recall something as reading something in the RP holds more ground in ones memory because of the nature of such things. -You have free reign over your characters but I will largely be monopolizing the plot for issues with story arcs. In some situations I will thrust a duty upon your character in order to test their limits. -You will want to be able to eat, sleep, and breath your character to get the most out of this thing. You may cry, you may jump for joy, you may scream and throw your computer out the window, but you must be deeply involved with how well you know your character. -------------------------------------------------------- Name: Age: Between 13-21 Gender: Male or Female, No enbys/genderfluids please >:V Appearance: Please do in paragraph form, only use a picture if it is hand-drawn by you or commissioned by you. I have my reasons >.> Personality: Make it believable! I won't accept you if your character is your typical anime-inspired Mary Sue. Try and be original, stay away from archetypes if you can. Brief Biography: It says BRIEF for a reason. Keep between 2-4 paragraphs. Relationship W/ Parent/Guardian: Your character has a special relationship with ONE of their parents/guardians. The relationship may be good or bad, but this guardian LOVES you, but they might not show it conventionally. Virtue: One of the SEVEN CONTRARY VIRTUES, no doubling up. Chastity is off limits as it's mine. Number: This will be assigned to your character by ME. Leave this blank. Spots assuming everyone applying gets one: Male Spots: 3/3 Female Spots:1/4 Spots actually taken Male Spots: 2/3 Female Spots: 1/4

**Name**: Rose Hargrove **Age**: 16 **Gender**: female **Appearance**: She is about 5 foot 4 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes. Rose tends to wear her hair in a single ponytail or a tight military style bun. She rarely lets her hair fall naturally but when she does it tends to fall to about the bottom of her shoulder blades. She uses a single red ribbon to tie her ponytail. She tends to wear blue jeans more than skirts and a plain red t-shirts more than blouses. She complements such simple attire with a black leather jacket that is both stylish and warm. She weighs approximately 110 lbs. **Personality**: Rose is very down-to-earth practical and quiet. She does not have very many friends that she hangs out with outside of school or sports events. She never makes to first move to greet or befriend another. This comes from her fear of losing someone close to her. She was shocked to hear her father died and it was the first time she gained an understanding of death, but ultimately she saw how her mother reacted to the lose of her father. Rose vowed never to follow down her mother's dark path of depression and sorrow. She is organized and often gets flustered when things are out of place or not going they way they should be. She likes to do things very much by the book. Basically, one cannot get to step C without first doing step A then step B. Aside from this, she is very much athletic. She loves running and is on both the school cross country team as well as its track team. **Brief Biography**: Rose was born to a middle class family. Her father was a cop and her mother was a school teacher. She was never spoiled nor given too many luxuries. None the less, Rose grew up plenty happy. She was almost always in the backyard in her family's suburban home climbing trees and running in the grass. She would always member those times as happy, because after that things went badly. When she was 8 years of age, she got word of her father, the cop, was gunned down one night while trying to stop a robbery of a corner convenience store. Her mother was shattered by the news. Her mother's emotional foundation fell away and she fell into depression. She started drinking and she ended up losing her teaching position. Things spiraled out of control for Rose's family until her uncle on her mother's side stepped in to raise Rose when she was 10. Her Uncle took Rose to his family farm just outside of the town of Hope. It was a hard adjustment to farm life for Rose. Whenever she was not in school she was working on that farm. Rose's Aunt never liked Rose's mother and she took it out on Rose. Rose's Uncle however did his best to shield Rose from his wife. Rose first took to the sport of running just so she would not have to be in the main house when her aunt was in. **Relationship W/ Parent/Guardian**: Rose has a good relationship with her uncle, who she believes saved her from her mother and continues to protect her. Rose had know her uncle from a fairly young age, since he made an effort to spent Christmas and various other holidays with her family. When Rose's father died in the line of duty, his visits became more frequently and longer. He began to pay to support Rose and her mother even when things got bad. Rose's mother however misused his generosity and they still ended up on the verge of losing their home. When Rose was 10, her uncle intervened in a suicide attempt of his mother. After that he took Rose away from his sister. Being the eldest son in the family, he had inherited the family farm and here he brought Rose. He knew that Rose was not happy there but he did his best. He turned the loft in the barn into a personal sanctuary for Rose so that his Wife would not harass her. Rose still slept in the big house rather than the barn because it was not heated or air conditioned. He made sure that Rose got a public school education by always driving her to school every day and picking her up. He made an effort to be at every race and track meet she was in. Rose never truly opened up to him but he felt his constant presence would at least leave a positive impression on her. **Virtue**: Temperance **Number**: blank lol

A little more description on the appearance and a few more details about her relationship with her uncle and you'll probably be golden... and I'd like just a tad bit more on her personality. You're just on the verge of being there~<3

**Name:** Galen Dunst **Age:** 17 **Gender:** Male **Appearance:** The most prominent of Galen Dunst's features are his eyes, painted an oceanic shade of blue and a dark, stormy gray yet soft and lively. Brown hair with long bangs and short sides is pushed out of his face with careful, frequently-combed attention and covers only the forehead, framing his face; the stubble of a short-boxed beard lines his square jaw. Galen stands even with many of his peers and below the tallest at around 3 to 4 inches under 6 feet, and he, unlike the other boys, is caught between the men and the women with features that would make the best of both worlds, the broadest of shoulders and wider hips. Despite, however, the toned exterior of his well-defined torso, very little of his muscle is as functional as the next man; he is merely capable of moderately strenuous tasks and is, essentially, a pretty boy who is more handsome than powerful. Although some would ascribe Galen's physical features to textbook masculinity, Galen's mode of dress is, by society's standards, freshly but admirably antinomian. Some days there are well-fit T-shirts and jeans, hoodies and cargo shorts, but on other days there are suits and ties, wool coats and sweaters, vests and suspenders, a style marked by admiration for all that is fancy and equal admiration for all that is, attractively, casual. Hardly a day passes without Galen's favorite accessory, a circular silver pendant with a square-cut ruby in the center strung around his neck with a matching silver chain. Wire frame glasses aid his vision. **Personality:** While he may be seen with a smile on his face often, Galen is, when alone, one of the most emotionally numb people on the planet, an empty marble shell stained with severe depression and unstable emotions affected by whatever caprice may find him. Sometimes he is shy and submissive, and in other times he is active and brave. Sometimes he is alive and outgoing, and in other times he is dead and isolated. Because his mental state is not grounded in himself but rather in his environment, his sensitive nature leaves him prone to minute changes and small actions that could easily tip whatever balance he finds. Either way, his core emotions are well masked by a tightly controlled outer image. He is highly insecure. Insecure about himself, about his relationships, about his life, about his status. From his insecurities stem his shyness and his caution and his vigilant skepticism. Dunst does not trust the love he is given. He feels that the love his friends and family give him is either fake or will falter. Only constant reminders can ensure that he might know the reality of the love, but in the meantime, Galen's mind is clouded with delusions and imagined demons. Whatever the case, passion follows him wherever he goes. In his lows, he is bored and unacting, and in his highs, he is excited and spry. Galen maintains an independent, intelligent mind with a wisdom of his own, rooted in his virtues, and a stubborn soul, unyielding whether wrong or right in his convictions. At his peak he may speak out of line and become unapologetic or relentless. Galen is a force of his own volition. Each day is a new start, and his emotional slate is wiped on a daily basis in accordance. The crippling depression and anxiety hasn't stopped him yet even though it has tried before. Dunst seeks to continue moving forward and to redeem himself. **Brief Biography:** In his formative years, his mother and father slammed doors and screamed and cried. After the split, the spell broke, and they turned peaceful for Galen's sake. The tensions and scars remained both on them and their impressionable child, but they worked to raise Galen the best they could. With shared custody and without court orders, Dunst grew up in a typical suburban neighborhood, in a less-than-perfect household, a household nonetheless. Galen powered through it all. Through the bullying, through the pain, through the oppression, Galen lived as a sensitive young man, the product of years of love and hatred, of dark and light. Many failures in school on part of his slothfulness didn't break his ambition and spirit. Into high school, his adaptation to circumstances was rewarded with friendship and love; all of his troubles seemed to fade into the background. He was not always happy, but high school was a high point in his life. Galen's only demons were within himself, and his only redemption was through himself or even through the powers of heaven. Depression and anxiety had wrapped around him; anger and wrath encroached. Dunst knew his journey wasn't over. He took to pursue his childhood again with writing and art. **Relationship with Mother:** His mother cares for him deeply. Galen lies at the front of her mind at all hours of the day. They have lived through the tumult of his upbringing, and now she loves her emotional trainwreck of a closeted gay son. They still fight and bicker like any family would, but each day they wake, they remember that they still care, that they promised their unconditional love. She supports him and applauds his talents, and she tries her best to keep him smiling and to suppress his anger and sadness as she never wants to see his wrathful tantrums or his depressed ramblings and cries for help. Galen's mother is his guiding light, and he depends on her, not to keep him on the right track but to keep him from a dead end. **Virtue:** Patience **Number:**
