**The Republic of Nova Domov** Petra Novak, president of Nova Domov awoke this morning, a heavy weight on her shoulders and her mind. She would be meeting with Kjell Vollan, leader of Brislow to discuss the recent quarrells and conflict between the two close nations of Lagita and Monrot. Novak had only heard good things about Vollan - never met him in person. She hoped that he would be easy to discuss issues with and and be a sensible leader who cared not only for his people but also for his surrounding nations. If all went well, Novak hoped to make allies with Brislow and open the doors for possible traid and future support. Vollan would be arriving within a matter of an hour and the staff of the capital building, where Novak lived and where they would be meeting, were buzzing about the building to make sure everything would be in order and presentable for when Vollan arrived. Novak wanted to give off the impression that Nova Domov was a country that gave their people considerable freedoms but also held a good grip on control, especially on their own affairs. Novak gathered the papers with information she would be discussing with Vollan and ordered one of her cab drivers to head to the airport early to ensure they'd be there for Vollan's landing.

 **The Federation of Brislow** In a rather inconspicuous plane, a copilot pokes his head in from the cockpit, his attention directed at the plane's sole passenger. "We are approaching the Nova Domov capital airport, sir." He said, hand clutching the door frame. "We will be landing in a few minutes." The aforementioned passenger, President Kjell Vollan, looked up from his laptop and gave a short nod, closing the computer and tucking it away. He turned his gaze to the scenery that was steadily becoming closer, noting that this would be the first time he had visited this nation, and for that matter, with their leader; Petra Novak. He hadn't heard much negativity about Novak, and from what he gathered she seemed to be a reasonable leader. And while their nations weren't exceptionally close, Vollan thought kindly towards them, and he felt optimistic the two nations could become allies. As the airport touched down and Vollan stepped foot on the tarmac, he noticed the cab driver waiting nearby. After a nod to his pilots, he approached the cab and gave a polite but formal greeting, entering the vehicle and once more looking out the window at the passing scenery.

 **The Republic of Nova Domov** Upon witnessing the plane conataining Brislow's leader land, the cab driver Novak had sent prepaired for the drive back to the capital building. He made sure to close the car door after Vollan had entered the back seat of the cab and then scurried around back to the drivers seat and prepared to take him to see Novak. He was unsure what to say to this leader who had heard little about. Nova Domov recieved few visitors, so this was a rare occasion. "Welcome to Nova Domov, President Vollan," the cab driver attempted to make friendly chatter as they drove. "I hope you enjoy your visit here." It took all but thirty minutes to get to the capital building and the cab driver pulled up infront of the long red bricked trail that led to the front doors. Respectively, he ran around the car again to open the door for Vollan and led him up the walk to the open doors where Novak was standing, pleasantly smiling. "President Vollan of Brislow. It is a pleasure to meet you," Petra said, extending a friendly hand towards him once he had entered through the tall front doors.

 **Federation of Brislow** Vollan looked up, blinking slightly at the cab driver's attempt at conversation. It was rare; most of the drivers he had had in the past just remained silent. "Thank you." He answered, pausing a moment to collect his thoughts. "Thank you for hosting me." He fell quiet afterwards once the cab driver ceased responding, his attention returning to the outside. During the trip, he thought back to the information he had received on President Novak and her country. He knew a little on the history, and some of the relations the country had with other nations. As for Novak, he had seen a picture or two about her and read that she was fairly friendly. All in all, he just knew the basics. Once the cab pulled to a stop, he was a little surprised to see the driver leading him up to the building. He didn't mind much, assuming it was merely common courtesy for visiting leaders or other high officials, and took the time to admire the sprawling land that surrounded the building. They had certainly made it look nice. When they stopped at President Novak, he offered a nod of thanks to the driver before turning a friendly smile to Novak and shaking her outstretched hand. "Likewise, President Novak of Nova Domov. Thank you for having me today."

 **The Republic of Nova Domov** Novak gave Vollan's hand a firm shake before nodding to him and leading him to the conference room that was rarely used. The staff in the capital building poured them both a class of water, placing it near their seats. The remainder of the staff waited outside the conference room should either of the leaders need something. Clearing her throat, Novak scanned briefly over her notes before placing them on the table in front of her and commencing to start the meeting. "As I am sure you are well aware, our neighbouring nation of Lagita and Monrot have found themselves at odds with each other and talk of combat between the two is spreading wildly. Now, I am a leader of action but also of peace. I would like to be prepared should war break out between the two counties and somehow involve Nova Domov or Brislow. I would also like to hear your thoughts on the matter, President Vollan."
