Josh shouted at them to grab their attention to allow the man to flee. Josh wasn't exactly a human weapon, but he knew how to fight. Five men surrounded him and he suddenly realised, he can't fight that well. He managed to take down one man before he was overwhelmed by the thugs. He was quickly beat down to the floor with a hard punch to his temple. Bear in mind, he didn't have his power at this moment, not yet anyway. It was that punch that floored him. That punch which made him smash his head off the ground. Instead of rushing blood he felt a surge of energy. For some reason he got back up and as one of them through a punch, time seemed to slow down and he countered the attack with ease. He normally uses specific kinds of candy for specific situations, if he needs to restrain an enemy then he will create giant lickerish or gummy worms to ensnare them or have them stuck by large amounts of gooey chewing gum. For offensive attacks he uses hard candy of varying size depending on how he wants to attack. He can fly by creating a giant floating bubble of gum which he can hang on to as he wills it to where he wants to go. Equipment: he has a sword that has blade made of lollipop that he creates using his power. Simon also has a whip made of gummy candy and sharp disks made of hard candy. His weapons' strength is determined by how power he puts into. Personality: Simon is funny and has a carefree personality. He is full of fun and tries to be nice to people he believes deserve it. Simon hates people who hurt the innocent and will take it to the bad guys hard if they begin killing people. His parents tried to get him to eat proper food, but it was hard and he always had a secret stash of candy. To his friends however, he's a loyal, sarcastic little shit. John is the kind of guy who will betray you for a couple of bucks, unless of course you've grown to become his friends. Which is a notable task since the sarcasm is used to keep most people out of his life. Besides that, he's smart and resourceful, always prepared for the worst case scenario. Weakness: John's weaknesses are few and far between.First off he's terrified of spiders. From big to small, if you drop one near him, you can be pretty sure that he won't be moving. He's also very loyal to his friends and will sacrifice himself to save them, even if that means pain and suffering for himself. In the powers department he cant lift anything much heavier than a car, and even then he can't lift it that high. History: John was born in California to two loving parents. He learned to walk and talk in the comfort of a two story home in the suburbs of Sacramento. Until one day, his mother found him levitating all the furniture in the living room. Name: Joshua Joseph Arrowsmith Alias:Avatar Age: 31 Gender:Male Skills/Powers: Joshua has the uncanny ability to absorb and channel Solar energy, this can cause him to do allot of things, one of his most basic abilities is to create fire and manipulate it, being able to start and stop it with a flick of a wrist, though it appears cannot manipulate fires created by other sources other than solar, for example it a kid starts a forest fire with a lighter, he is as useless as another match, but if it with a magnifying glass it will be gone before you can say "Stop drop and/or roll". he is also able to set his entire body on fire (see human torch for details), while doing this he can create small solar winds and fly. One of his smaller abilities is to project the suns raw beams to make plants grow at an alarming rate,or too give someone a boost of vitamin D. Whats also interesting is that Joshua has an exceptional healing factor. Equipment (Doesn't have to be weapons): N/A Personality: Joshua is a very outgoing person, always trying to make jokes too bring people's spirits up, he's the type of guy that would seem like a Superman in the making, but unfortunately being a 'hero' is harder than it looks, he didn't realize living his dream would kill his loved ones and thousands of innocents, and that was just him... The villains made him do it. Now he's a cold, ruthless "hero", killing anyone who dare hurt anyone else, or leave them with permanent burns on places noticeable. Weakness:While channeling the suns Ray's to make plants grow,etc he has a chance to get skin cancer, even though his cells are constantly dying and being replenished it can mess with his system, making him lose most, if not all of his powers for a few days,months or permanently. While wet he cannot use ANY of his powers, doing so it can cause steam and he could suffocate Hero or Villain: Anti-Hero?. If that's an option... History:Joshua was an astronaut, going through the training and everything,get ready to go up for the first time, until he was diagnosed with cancer, which cut his career short because he only had 3 months to live. Needless to say he was crushed,shattered. For the first month he just moped around and took his treatments. When someone came knocking on his door, it was a Doctor Silver, he said he had heard of his predicament and wanted him to test a new experimental procedure. For the first time Joshua's eyes lit up and agreed, he signed all the papers shoved into his face and in 2 weeks time was prepped for surgery. What was explained to him was they were going to destroy the cancer cells and put in these modified stem cells that would not only fill in for the cancer cells but would heighten his immune system by 100%. The surgery was a complete success. He made a full recovery and he was back on schedule for the launch. On the day of the launch they got up and out of orbit when a Solar flare was released that hit the ship, everyone inside was incinerated except for Joshua, who was somehow spared, he fell back down to earth landing somewhere in the desert, where he found a lost tribe that pulled him from the wreckage. He lived with them for a long time in royalty, until one day he saw a military Humvee driving by in the distant horizon, abandoning his tribe he was flown back to america after he got back to civilization. After many, Many tests it was discovered that the stem cells, instead of killing JUST the cancer cells it killed all of his white blood cells replacing them with the stem cells which took in the radiation from the solar flare and kind of copied that, changing his entire cell production, like it had done the cancer cells,Changing him. He took this opportunity to become Avatar, a new superhero. But it was not what it seemed, Doctor Silver did this procedure on another man, Andre Opp and it was a success, but Andre thought he could become another Helios, he exposed himself to uranium and became an abomination, a ten foot tall glowing green monster with the ability's too control radiation. He blamed Joshua and went after him. The monster slaughter his father,Mother,Brother and wife.
