Hello, thank you for clicking on my Interest Check! I'm going to start by saying that although this roleplay is still in the works and will be more or less entirely sandbox, I DO have some plot points figured out to give the story kind of a skeleton to follow. Now on to my terrible awesome synopsis!

The players (you and I) will take on the roles of Elven warriors living on the lush, serene continent of (Insert awesome elvish name here). Here have a map. I don't know if it will actually show up or not since I've been having trouble with maps lately but hopefully you can see it.



This continent has, for thousands of years, been enjoying a very permanent peace. However at the beginning of the roleplay this peace will be broken. These elves we play as will have never had any contact with anybody outside of their continent. This means that as far as they know only the Elves on this continent exist. At the beginning the continent will be invaded by Mankind, a spiritually, magically, and intelligently inferior race. However despite these pitfalls the invaders will have superior numbers and more advanced technology (ships, catapults, etc.) and basically the game will come down to a conflict between humans trying to expand their empires and gain resources and elves trying to defend their homeland without destroying it.

I've got a bit of history planned out, if I get enough interest I'll make an OOC and share what I have. I'm hoping to get 3-5 other players posting interest here. In addition whoever takes part in this roleplay will have a say, I promise. If you have ideas about the history or other things pertaining to the roleplay then please let me know. I LOVE input.

First, let me say that I am definitely interested, so do let what I am about to say throw you off.This idea is wonderful, but something in me thinks that this would be a great Nation RP. Not saying that it shouldn't be here(obvs it should be), but yeah that's my two cents. Now with that being said, color me interested. :3

Is the entire continent united under a single elvish nation similar to how it was before Gil-Galad was killed by Sauron during the Last Alliance? I assume so, if there has been an extremely lengthy amount of peace, and elves generously aren't as fractured politically as men. Next, I'm curious about the elvish lifespan and whether or not they are immortal (like Tolkien elves) or simply have long lives. Finally, are there different cultures of elves? This could also tie in to my first question, but the continent is rather large, and has quite diverse biomes. Anyway, you have my support, because I've been wanting to play an elf in a high fantasy rp for awhile now.

And I guess I'll wait to see how badass these elves are in combat, since everyone knows that elves are completely op, lol.

You've caught my interest. What kind of magical creatures exist? How does magic work? How prominent is religion? That was a lot of questions, but I am definitely interested in partaking in this RP. Also how "advance" is your advance standard?

Well check you guys out being all interested and shiz. I'll get an OOC up in a few hours at most and address a these concerns formally. But to give you some basics. Elves are immortal, magic is semi-prominent, and elves all live under one United banner however there ARE multiple cultures. Also my definition of advanced would be that of the site rules. Post 2 paragraphs and make sure they're relevant. I like decent spelling and grammar but I'm not gonna be a huge stickler.
