Hello peoples of the world, our Sayari (home). Centuries we have been oppressed by monsters, enslaved and subjugated we are. Mostly those without the talents of the enchanted, without which we first were slain by. Dragons, warlocks, demons and monsters, taking countless sickening forms they did. They saw us as we saw animals. They believed their powers, their fiendish abilities and ways make them invincible. Complacent they've grown, fat off the juiciest peasants and the tears of many generations who were reduced to little more than slaves. Their time however, has come.  For the Nuvuya (New Spirit) arises! Empowered at last we are, free from our physical bodies in death, free to subvert the empires who kill us and our kin from within. Our revenge will not be just for bloodlust, our revenge shall lead to revolt, to bring about a just order. One where we will not live in fear of being used for some warlock's rituals, being tortured for the sick amusement of mentally ill kings or food for someone's dragon. We have suffered all this and more in our lives, but now redemption comes in our sacrifice. It comes in the liberation of the oppressed, the emancipation of the mortal from the despots who rule from their fairy tales castles and their enchanted towers! ------------------ Hello peoples of RPGuild. I am aware that the process of interest check has been violated, however I did have a lawful RP going through that process. Not sure where it went. So I've decided to play a fun, little experiment. Unlike most NRPs, that burden you with silly acceptance processes or any of that sort of garbage, this NRP is a NRP where players may make a app and play the RP as they see fit. I do not accept apps, you simply make a app and jump into the IC, no questions asked! Genre? I'm going for a 'crazy world' sort of NRP, one full of strangeness indeed. Why, here's the map:  The map key speaks for itself. Some who wants to improve it can, I might one day, but currently I think it's good enough the way it is. You have your biomes, mountains, oceans and even some regional/geographic names! Ignore the stuff about some random fantasy races like the Palefolk or Gruesomers. Unless you wanna make a fantasy race called that. Anyways, here's the tenets of this RP **Hop on in and have some fun** No worries of standard beyond keeping below 20th century technology [early 20th century I have some leeway for] or magic that's too over the top for me. It's very much based on my personal biases, all you need to do is make a brief app explanation what you are and where, than have some fun. Here the app, by the way: Name- Type- (what you be?) Location- Information- Your bag of tricks- (military and tech) Other- Here the application for species; Name- Biology- Culture- Other- YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE ACCEPTED TO ROLEPLAY, JUST MAKE THE APP AND HOP ON IN! **A Spiritual Vengeance** The RP, while free form has an overarching narrative and a unique role for some people who are willing to take up the price. The Nuvuya have been released from the tortured, the enslaved and the fallen in recent times. The reason unknown, myths claiming perhaps they are a monument to the sins of generations of hell, others claim it was a curse in some feudal war that want horrifically wrong. No one truly knows. What is known, if that they are intangible entities, akin to ghosts. The Nuvuya however, seek not just vengeance, but to bring about the liberation of their brothers and sisters, to save them from the horrific fates that the fallen Nuvuya have suffered. If you are to be Nuvuya, your character in their life must suffer dearly dearly. Your first IC post should be your character's death. The Nuvuya can posses both objects and living things (up to your interpretation), travel anywhere in the world on a thoughtful whim and transfer memories at will. It is currently not known how to contain a Nuvuya, if even possible. I will note that some people have the will power to resist possession by a Nuvuya, but the Nuvuya will be able to transfer memories and telepathically communicate all the same. Nuvuya can take a physical form through possession of objects or living things. The Nuvuya are incredibly powerful, it should be warned. They can travel across the world at will and unlike some ghosts in fiction, are not restrained by their location of death and are fully capable of gaining knowledge (reading the memories and minds of others is one means) and calculating plans, even with other Nuvuya. They are pretty visible beings, often appearing akin to your character's appearance in life. However, they must possess objects or people to interact with the physical world. However, if you are to be Nuvuya you must only be Nuvuya. Here's a Nuvuya app: Name- Biography- (Your character's life up to the point they're about to die. Your first IC post should be your character's death and waking up as a Nuvuya) Abilities- (abilities unique to your Nuvuya that go beyond basic traits. For instance a nuvuya that steals memories of others or is able to set things on fire with its mind. I'll be case-case about this, try to balance things somewhat.) Other-  **A Fantasy World With Little Restriction** This is a world of feuding powers, with little limits on their power. The history of thousands of years, from the primordial peoples to the classical dominions that are claimed to have ruled justly to the machine wars and the invasion of monsters their history goes. Currently the world is dominating by feuding civilizations, their ties interlinked by blood and constant war. The mad run free at the top, supported by heaps of the starving serfs and slaves underfoot. Technology has sprawled many paths, some with their machines, others with their high magic and beasts. You may make some species, a nation/civilization who gleefully run a empire of many kinds or be a Nuvuya seeking liberation... Or something far more ulterior. **Only 5 rules** 1. What I say, goes. 2. 19th century tech at max, magic should have trade offs. 3. Common RP rules apply 4. No not ask to be accepted, just IC to your heart's content once you have a app you are satisfied with.

Glad you like them! And sure, I'll probably post some time today. Right now I've just woken up, and before I was just waiting to see if there were any issues that needed correcting before I went ahead, heh. I know apps don't actually need to be accepted, but I was just unsure on a few issues. But things seem to be fine, yeah?

They're fine on the whole. If I see issues that need correcting i'll be upfront about it. I have a Kuvuya character encase you're curious. I just need to make my app for the poor Mafuta. Update; Posted me app and modified Kuvuya rules with more insight to how they work along with added the need to make your first IC post the death of the character in life, unless you intend to have the character in life for a several posts before the death. However, please no Nuvuya who already are Nuvuya.

Your character(s) are pretty interesting from what I'm able to glean from the sheet. Also hella rad, in the case of the monster.

I'll need to get my story arc going for the fun to truly begin. I hope many nations are around by the time I die horribly.
