Jack would smirk as he looks over her, standing and sizing her up a bit. "Well,aye aye Captain! Glad to see that our leader is not only insightful, but a sight as well! Tell me, gorgeous, what made you choose us in particular? Because anyone who knows me will tell you that I'm not exactly the most by the books guy." He would sound pretty genuinely curious. A bit sadly, he would add, "Hell, most people turn me away just because of what I am. What makes this group different?"

Captain cocks an eyebrow at him at his _gorgeous_ comment and says, "This group is different because we look past the powers itself. Hell, we have a _candy_ guy here." She looks around at everyone and states, "We all need to come together as a group and we will be able to produce a bigger effect if we are all together." She smiles at him politely before rapidly drawing a knife from her arm and whipping it at him. It hits the wall just above his head, trimming a few of his hairs. She walks over to the knife yanks it out of the wall, whispering in his ear, "Don't ever call me _gorgeous_ unless you're being serious." She walks back and asks, "Anymore questions?"

"So we'll be staying here? Getting to know each other?" Rosalina asked.

Captain turns to the girl. "This is honestly the safest place for you right now. You will be staying here and getting to know one another so you can work together better." She looks around at all of them. "I'm done with questions. Go choose a room and get settled. Find the training room after you are settled and meet me there. We start training now." --- Leo nods to the young woman and walks away to find a room. He finds one close to what seems to be the training room and drops his stuff off. Immediately afterwards, he walks into the training room and begins to stretch.

Jack would look pretty amused, knowing he knife wouldn't hit him and standing stock still. When she whispered in his ear, his quiet reply would be said equally as fast. "Nobody said I wasn't being serious." He would look around to the rest of the room. "It seems that our Captain here knows what we're capable of, or else I'd hope she wouldn't have tried to end me. But none of us know each other. So we should start with introductions. My name is Jack. You can all call me Vice." After he spoke, his outfit would shift and move on its own, becoming skin tight and appearing as though it were a costume. He would look to Captain again. "I'd smile for you, precious, but I'm not so sure you'd like it." He would let the mask slide back and disappear, giving her his real smile, before walking into the training room.

Calvin began to become a little uneasy as more people started to pile up into the room below the building. One by one, people who appeared to have abilities began to enter. One who could produce candy was quite interesting. This was the first time Calvin was exposed to others like him and it was a bit overwhelming initially. With all of them having special abilities, it was obvious why they were all gathered here. He just wondered how the person who contacted him even knew who he was. He wasn't a native hero and was an army brat most of his life before joining the service. Either way, he was honored to be a part of this. After the man in front of the room spoke, he wanted to ask some questions; however he chose to keep silent like he had been since he got there. He ran his fingers through his brunette hair which had been styled up. He scratched his facial hair which had been growing out for a couple of weeks. Calvin normally shaved, but decided to keep the stubble since people told him he looked good with it. After looking around, he heard a female voice interject who went by the name "Captain." When she finished her speech, a rush of adrenaline pumped through his system; not of fear but of excitement. Now instead of using his abilities for government shit and being poked with needles, he can make a difference. "I just want to know when I get to blow something up," he said finally.

(doing this post on my phone. Expect awful ness) Candy. The worst power in the world, yet for some reason ethereal seems to have a moment of deja vu. Same with the captain. At least he will have some time to think about it. He bowed towards captain and stated "thank you" and floated towards the empty rooms. He floated gratefully to the end of the hall and choose the room at the right end. If only he had a way to mark it as his own. The nice voice (would it be considered insane to name them?) suggested that he leave the heavy bed sheets on the door. He doesn't use the bed anyway. Now for training. Two people seem to have already arrived. He greats them with a simple nod

Simon laughed when he heard Jack say aye aye to their leader, and his smile grew wider when Captain refered to him as Candy Guy. "I prefer the name Candy King, because I'm the king of sweets" he said making a large action figure-size sour gummy bear appear in his hand. --- When Thrasher saw that no one seemed to be afraid of him, he felt more comfortable, but he still was curious to know. "So none of you are afraid of me?" he asked them shifting his eyes from each of the heroes gathered in the room.

"Rosalina Navi, but I'm known as Kalypso," she says. She turns to the shark humanoid and sighs. "Most people made fun of me just because I roll a gas canister around and because I dropped out of school. They called me 'high and dumb'," she sighed, not wanting to be cliche or to get into it too much. "So no, I'm not afraid of you. We're all different and weird in our own ways. We're the outcasts that save the day." She then walks into the room closest to the kitchenette. There, she puts down her stuff, puts away her gas canister, struggling to breath for a second, and then puts on her mask and begins to breath normally again. She walks into the training room and stands next to Vice, speaking to him. She repeats what she said earlier. "I get ya', about earlier. Most people made fun of me just because I roll a gas canister around and because I dropped out of school. They called me 'high and dumb'." Whilst she talks, her body changes and she becomes a cyborg. Her body is made of a suit, she has black gloves on her hands, and her hair changes to long, brown, uneven hair. The only visible skin of her is her face, not including her mask, and her fingers.

Jester found this "Captain" character quite ridiculous, he chuckled slightly at the thought of wearing sunglasses in the dark. He took a moment to scope everyone in the room, there seemed to be a man who could conjure candy at will, a shark human hybrid, a rebellious man, there even seemed to be a cyborg of sorts. Feeling comfortable that no one knew he wished to end the lives of everyone in this room, he took a seat in the far corner and waited.

Captain takes off her sunglasses and rubs her eyes. Seeing Jester go and sit in a far corner, her normally blue eyes go from blue to a dark red, which meant she was furious. She yells, "Everyone grab a room and head to the training room NOW!" She glares at the Jester. "Including you." Her hands suddenly spark and she clenches them together in fear. _They will find out what you are_ a small voice in the back of her head whispers to her. _You know you can't control it._

"Wow someone needs to stop putting the mintos in the diet cola" Simon said out loud referring to Captain. as he began to head towards wherever their leader wanted them to go. --- Thrasher was moved by Kalypso's words and he felt that he would get along very well with her. He was taken a bit by surprise when Captain snapped at them, and he rolled his eyes at Candy King's comment. "Jesus there's no need to yell at us" he said to her crossing his huge muscular arms.

"Something's wrong..." she trailed off. She poked her head out of the door. "Everyone get in here! Now!" she yelled, although not as loud as Captain.

Jack's head would poke out of the door... From the top of the frame and a bit awkwardly twisted. "Everything okay in there, skipper?" He would say with a bit of curiosity. It seemed there was more to her than he knew about. " Why don't you just strut in here and show me the ropes?" He would be smirking, watching to see her reaction.

Cal have up on watching the vampire, and flew off to another alleyway. There, she transformed back to herself and walked out onto the street. The place she needed to get to wasn't too far away, and she wanted to rest her energy. She began walking towards the old abandoned warehouse. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rosalina sighed. She didn't know what was wrong, but she was sure there was something.

Captain runs over to Rosalina and asks, "What's up? Are you alright?" She doesn't know why Rosalina called out but if something was wrong here, she needs to know about it now.

John was impressed by Captain. She seemed to be around his age yet she commanded a certain respect. One that was hard to ignore. One that only came when someone was extremely passionate about something. He respected that. Though he was still gonna be an ass. After Captain demanded they find a room, he strutted out towards the stairs, shouting over his shoulder, "Will do your majesty." He walked up the stairs and opened a the first door he saw. It opened into a room with a large double bed and a bookcase. He tossed his messenger bag with his few possessions on the bed before going back downstairs, and after poking around, found the training room. He crossed his arms and waited for the others to arrive.

"I...I don't know.... I just have a terrible gut feeling...," Kalypso trailed off. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Cal turned the corner and saw the warehouse, and walked up to it. She saw the door was locked and turned into an ant and crawled under, then turned back to human.

Jack was getting pretty curious about what was going on with that girl, so he flipped down and walked over, wearing a maskless costume and approaching carefully. "Hey Cap, is everything okay? I heard her say something was wrong..?"

Hershel rubbed his eyes from being awoken, he stared over at the brown-haired girl, he furrowed his eyebrows and said "How did you get in here?" he made his destructive energy shoot him upwards, he propelled himself down to the floor with his energy shooting out of his hands. He landed on the flats of his feet and moved over to her, "And what do you need?" he grinned evilly.
