Wait... Wait a sec.... They are just going to die? The most "powerful" nation is just going to die off like that? Just boom? What the fuck!
Monkeypants
No but they are about to begin dying off rather fast, they did just loose like half their fleet and had multiple powers against them.
duck55223
Yeah, they'll die off not like "Boom" and more like "Oh god our planet just got blown up by the sheer amount of firepower concentrated on it".

I'm shaking my head at the whole iscandarians just vanish because you don't want to play them bullshit. With that said. The ponies have been occupied by internal problems for a while but the trader state will vouch for their existence. They would've known the ponies before, assuming they did any special trade.

Uh part of the ponies back story is that they have not contacted any of the other player nations, their first few posts will involve making that contact. Oh and even if I did have a problem with the insta-fleet kill weapon Keyguy would just say something along the lines of Humans are Special.

I did say assuming they did spacial trade. Anyway, the trader crossroads is a potential start. I'm going to throw out there that all nations participating in galactic trade would know of the nation.

Well they are participating in trade with the nations of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants, but they have not made contact with the other player nations so they have not initiated trade within them.

Alpha and beta quadrants? Do we have a map as to where we are in the galaxy?

Keyguy was working on one but never finished it, but as for rough positions the Alpha and Beta Quadrants are located in the North of the Galaxy, with the Gamma Quadrant in between those two and the Delta Quadrant, and the Gamma Quadrant is relatively unexplored. The Delta Quadrant has never been explored by the Equestrians and it's center would be Sol.

Um... Ok, so... We are assuming our entire RP is taking place in just the quarter of the galaxy known as the delta quadrant?

So what is the actual limit on the use of Magic? or possible variates of use? I like to avoid putting something down for it to be considered to much or not into this setting as much. I did remember PM'ing Duck about joining the RP but didn't know who best to speak to on the subject.

Not necessarily just the Delta Quadrant, that just the farthest quadrant the Equestrians have decided to name. I assume a few of the other player powers might have one or two colonies within the Gamma Quadrant and a few people might be past the Delta Quadrant.

For all intents and purposes, magic is equal to technology, although magic can be used to boost technology and visa versa. Uses can include anything you want really. I did not see your PM btw, I get spammed with PMs everyday so it gets hard to keep track of.

Ok, then the traders would be known by the delta and easily the alpha or beta (which ever touches the delta). As there's no reason for those alpha nations to not trade with delta. (not like there is some invisible wall blocking the quadrants off from each other. So, there's no reason you wouldn't know of the traders or what not. Maybe not met but its what ever.

Uh the Delta Quadrant does not touch the Alpha or Beta Quadrants. The Gamma Quadrant is actually large, the Alpha and Betta quadrants are on the butt-end of the galaxy. There is literally no way to have heard or met your traders.

Call them sectors. Please. If they were quadrants, they would all be of equal size and the Delta quadrant would touch Beta and Gamma.
