Welcome friends! As promised, I have made the thread. What I had in mind was possibly posting our characters so they were all easy accessible just in case someone forgets at the beginning and they don't have to go looking too much to find them. They, once we get characters figured out and what not, we can think of a plot or figure out what we want to do. I will post mine here and it won't be a terribly difficult CS, just name, age, what he/she looks like, and the weapon they use. And feel free to add anything you think would be necessary, or if you think I should add something!! I'm always up for suggestions of any kind. The weapon can be changed, because it wouldn't be monster hunter if you had to stick with one weapon, am I right? Anywho, here we go! Ah, and I see there is a character section of the threads so she'll be there! That makes things so much easier!!

Now one little quip. Must I absolutely adhere to the weapon archetypes available within the Monster Hunter series. Or can my character have something along the lines of gauntlets, relying a deal more on physical strength and maneuverability in battle. Of course, and I've said this before, suplexing dragons is not a normal occurrence. Thanks!

Woops wrong RP

Tis a glorious sight! Not only is it a Monster Hunter RP but it is a thread not just a 1x1 and people are interested! Characters look good and I do like the idea of a felyn/Melynx character though for future posters I would find it difficult to fight with 15 of the buggers running around tripping the humans/wyverians/other humonoid MH races up, so in short as of now felyn/melynx characters are fine. Weapons: If I recall Monster Hunter lets you slay beasts with toilet plungers and fire explosive bullets from stuffed animals. As hilariously effective as they can be in the game I would like to not refrain from weapons like that. I would like to tip my hat to Unraveller, as I have always thought a fist style would be awesome and plausible. In short when designing characters throw out ideas for weapons and the like just as long as they are not to over the top and fit for gods, the worst we can say is no. BTW I am the cousin of Nozomi that was spoken of in the interest check, as far as I can see we have a fare selection of hunters whether or not any of them will be considered Mary Sues will be determined, I know that the world of Monster Hunter allows for some badass characters to be forged but the process takes time. The difference between Monster Hunter and this thread is we are not just one of millions of hunters with access to the same quests and gear as everybody else we are characters with our own personas and for those who have not done so if you could tell us a bit about them I would be grateful.
