Sure, that could work, but that's not the character. The character as written can't have been undead for very long, his sheet says he's only 26 years old, and the rest of the profile strongly suggests he was killed only recently by the course of events. You're giving this character a bunch of credit that isn't due.

@Corsair, Thats all very true, stuff I hadn't considered, do you have any suggestions to fix this then?

Retcon it so he didn't announce he snuffed out an entire village worth of unarmed men, women, and children?

Your and Blaze's posts will need changing also then, ideally your responses would be the same to the retcon but wouldn't have to result in Larris' redeath/exile. Its certainly a possible solution though

At this point how ineptly Enalais has played this character is as much an issue for me as Larris's current situation. I have trouble trying to justify how he can expect the others to accept the character as he's played it. When I accepted his character I hoped he was going to have the tact to know it would require him not going overboard. Let me say it again, if he had said his character had murdered the villagers in his sheet I would not have accepted him. I've been role-playing for years, I've never seen someone so quickly make their characters go from merely tragic to practically villainous. At this point I'm considering the best thing for the RP would be kick Enalais so the rest of us can move on. I'll wait until Noon tomorrow for people to comment before I finalize my decision.

I've never felt it my place to decide whether someone is in or out when not GM. I do however worry this discussion will slow down IC if we don't come to a decision quickly.

Well time's past, as of this moment Enalais is no longer a part of his RP. Larris will become an NPC, I've given Corsair permission to dispatch him as it would make sense for the Paladin to take out the undead mass murderer now let's get on with the show.

Here is my sheet as promised Cap. Name: Nyshara Moondancer Age: 24 Race: Illumian Class: Duskblade Abilities: As a Duskblade, Nyshara has the power to use magic spells while wearing armor. Her sword can turn into ether fire, ice or lighting and she can cast a spell without having to prepare like a sorcerer them ahead of time. She can speak Common, Illumian, and Elven. As an Illumian she has two power sigils floating above her head which are Krau (Magic), and Uur (Grace) which can also be used as a light source which she can hide at will. Alignment: Chaotic Good Appearance: Nyshara stands around 6 feet tall with blonde hair that cuts off at the midpoint of her back. She has pale skin, and not markings of any kind, and her eyes are a bright soft blue. Her forehead is covered with a dark blue bandana, and she wears a basic cloth shirt and a leather breast plate with her chain shirt underneath. Her katana is resting on her left side ready for combat. Personality: Since she is an Illumian she has a fascination with knowing all things. Once she has mastered something she moves on to the next. She has an even greater fascination with magical text. She will spend hours hovering over a single page trying to understand it to the best of her ability which is what lead her down the path of becoming a Duskblade. She mostly will keep out of petty squabbles and drama, but will fight for her code. Her code is simple, protect the innocent, destroy evil, and never turn your back on friends or family. She will uphold her code at all coasts. She is the kind of person that won’t kill a thief, but will make sure they won’t commit the crime again. She also is a bit on the social side enjoying conversation with anyone she comes across. She is a proud Illumian, but doesn’t think herself above anyone else. She is more likely to share stories from her home cabal when given the chance. She can spend hours writing in her journals on whatever information she has found in her travels to take back to her cabal. She has a bit of a snob side to her when it comes to language finding common to be ugly, but she sees that it’s a language she needs to use. Inventory: An enchanted Steel katana, steel breastplate, a journal with a writing implement, a wooden poll, a bed roll, colored sand( red, yellow and blue), a pouch full of ash, and a lute.

I think she means like a sorcerer, Duskblade's have spell slots like sorceres so they are limited in how many spells a day they can cast but unlike a wizard it can be any spell from her spell list.

I'm using a Ready Action with Lily, if anyone is outside cover when the javelin barrage starts she's going to break her cover to protect them.

We currently don't have a Barbarian, Fighter, Bard, Ranger, Sorcerer, or Warlock. Food for thought.

Well, Captain doesn't really think a second attack mage would work, so Sorcerers and possibly Warlocks would be ruled out. And a paladin and a fighter in the same party would be sort of awkward... So either bard or ranger.

If I may be so bold, I think you should go with the bard class. I mean, who doesn't want to destroy their enemies with the power of rock?
