Autumn gazed at him for a moment before she started writing. But it's not selfish at all. Though I would like for you to refrain from throwing yourself in front a bullet. Healing has it's downsides as well. I can't heal myself and if the wound is too great I might end up killing myself if I tried to heal it. Don't sell yourself short. I for one like your power and think it's very useful. She gave him a small smile to emphasize her point.

"Please be seayed." The counselors said together. "Now our first activity is usually going to be something sports related. But today we would like to give you all a chance to get to know each otber. So we are going to play a game of truth or dare. We will ask you a question and you may choose to answer honestly or you may choose to do the dare which could be anything. Who would like to stsrt."

James shook his head, because he's not supposed to speak. Ashlyn looked at the counselors. "Um, my brother here isn't supposed to speak, so how is he supposed to play?" she asked.

Autumn looked over and got up, walking over to James. Smiling, she tore out a sheet of paper from her notebook and handed him a spare pencil she always carried with her. After she hand him the items she turned and returned to her seat.

James simply nodded to Autumn as if to say thanks, then looked around at the others.

"Ah well, the truth is I was a bit forced to come here. I was overworking myself" -he abstained from saying again- "and the nuns back at the orphanage I live it didn't like it so much, so they told me to take a vacation like a normal teen. We argued for a bit, but I agreed eventually. I guess I did want some time off a little," he said, shrugging. Upon hearing the Counselors announcement, he grinned a bit. "Truth or dare huh? Sounds fun!" This coming from the person who's nickname was Dare.

Devon sat down near the fire and looked around at the others for a bit. It seemed like everyone was getting to know each other already. How...normal. That was probably a good thing to do, actually. Now, where to start... Any further thoughts were soon interrupted by the new announcement from the counselors, however. Truth or dare? Ooh, wait! This could be good! Excitedly, the hoodie-clad teen raised one hand and stood up, eyes gleaming in anticipation. "I volunteer! I'm so ready for this!"

"Excellent!" The councilors stated together. "You can either answer truthfully or ask for the dare. If you select dare you must do it to the best of your ability." They explained in unison. "Do you know how we will know if you answer truthfully or simply make up an answer?"

Ashlyn looked at the councilors. "One of you has an ability that allows you to find out in some form or another, correct?"

"That is correct but the question was directed to this young lady." The counselors pointed to Devon. "Please wait your turn." They turned their attention back to Devon. "Please state your name, age, and ability."

"Aw, I actually wanted to guess. I was gonna say that they had some sort of emotion sense or an alien artifact to scan brains or something. Or maybe that they're actually multiverse-traveling detectives!" Devon pouted a bit childishly with both arms crossed. Being cut off was irritating, bad enough that it happened at school all the time. But luckily, there were more important things to distract one's attention away from that here, and it really didn't incite much in the way of disappointment this time. "is that the question?" The blue-eyed teen looked up at the counselors curiously. "'Cause I was gonna choose dare unless the question was really interesting. Or do I answer this before I get the question?"

The counselors shook their heads. "You must introduce yourself to the group. You can answer the question or not but interesting questions will come later. Your question is can you control your abilities?"

Devon nodded, grinning before turning to the rest of the group. "Okay, then! My name's Devon, I'm 15 or something like that, and I'm a dragon!" Still grinning, the bright-eyed teen stood there for another moment, a little bit proud of her answer. "As for the question...I'm gonna take the dare!"

Jackie's eyes widen as she listened to Devon state his powers. A dragon? An actual dragon? That was amazing! She didn't show off her interest though, and decided to just lightly smile. She looked from the counselors to the campers, to Devon, and she kept doing this until she started to remember faces. She gave them a nickname to remember them all, and figured it would help out later.

Devon nodded, grinning before turning to the rest of the group. "Okay, then! My name's Devon, I'm 15 or something like that, and I'm a dragon!" Still grinning, the bright-eyed teen stood there for another moment, a little bit proud of her answer. "As for the question...I'm gonna take the dare!"

Luna was sitting down listening to the others quietly. Truth and dare....hmmm...sounds interesting, she watched everyone keeping the hood on to make sure no one noticed. When Devon told everyone that she was a dragon, it impressed her. She never really meet a dragon person before which was now new to her. She wondered about everyone elses abilities as she watched everyone again then looked at the back at Devon.

David whistled. A dragon huh? He wondered if she could breath fire or fly. Well, either way, this would be fun to watch.

"...Eh?" Devon froze for a moment with wide eyes as the exact meaning of the dare sunk in. They were probably going to expect something really big and impressive now, weren't they? Well...that wasn't a big deal, was it? It wasn't like they were told what to expect. It would still be cool, right? Yeah. Not like the older ones, but who was anyone to get upset over that? ...Unless one of the others was a more developed dragon. Oh gosh... ...Well, nothing else to do. Gotta live while it lasts, never mind the rest! The teen made a quick face and removed the cap. "I think that's considered cheating in some places! But fine." Turning to the nearest camper, Devon handed off the cap with a smile. "Could you hold this, please? I don't wanna mess it up." With that out of the way, the dark-haired camper held both hands out in front and kept all fingers in a clawed position while focusing for a moment to release some of the energy inside. After a couple of seconds, scales began to show, first covering most of each hand and ending with sharp claws at the end of each finger, then spreading from beneath the collar of the hoodie and up Devon's neck and the lower sides of the face. Fangs felt a bit sharper, though not all that much since they were still technically baby teeth. Finally, the short whiskers started to poke out from the sides of the face and a scaled tail popped out from under the hoodie, swaying slightly as the teen's balance readjusted. Even once it was finished, the teen still felt that it was almost a little too human-like for a dragon. Not exactly my fault, though...

Autumn blinked in surprise as she was handed Devon's cap but took it none the less and set in on her lap so it wouldn't fall into the dirt. She watched with fascination as Devon crooked her fingers and held still. Slowly, Autumn began to see scales growing down her arms like a river would run downhill. The tips of Devon's nails became claws and Autumn felt her eyes widen further upon seeing the transformation happening to her face. Once the morph was complete Autumn couldn't help but gaze at Devon in amazement. To be truthful, Autumn liked this dragon for better than the original dragon one; it was much less intimidating. She grabbed her paper and quickly scrawled a message to Devon, holding it out so she could see. That was so cool! Does it hurt to shift like that?

Devon grinned at the message, happy to see that at least someone liked it. "Nah, not really. It doesn't normally hurt unless I try too hard. I'm not very old yet, and my side of the family's a little different from the rest of it, so it's taking me some time to ease into it. I'll be able to control my shifting way better when I'm older, though! This isn't even my final form!" Still excited, the teen clenched both hands in a sign of child-like anticipation. There were so many things to look forward to! Just not for another few years, mostly. Maybe several, actually...
