Regno Ricco International Airport. One of a kind, home to the fanciest private jets and easiest to bribe airport security in the nation. 5 SUV Limos pull up to drop off/ pick up zone. Tinted windows hide the riches inside the luxurious behemoths. Only the fanciest for the Khan's personal pick up service. The well dressed drivers step out each in tuxedo and red vest. A small pair of sunglasses rests on each of their noses hiding their eyes. Every one of them holds a small disk glowing a green light. They walk up to an area where families are holding signs saying "Welcome Home!" and "We missed you!". They waltz silently through the crowds and pass airport security sliding each of them a sealed envelope as they pass. The 5 "men" fan out among the gates each with a specific location in mind. Each stands at the gate entrance awaiting the duelists. They slide their thumb around the glowing disk and it emits a green holograph above. They drop the disk and the holograph begins rotating. A list of names appears in the green light. And as the duelists get off their plane the drivers escort the duelists to their assigned limo without a word. Small talk is for when they get to the palace. However it's not like they were programmed to talk anyway. However the food and beverages in the limo should suffice along with some playbacks of the world's greatest duels. It's a semi-short drive only about 15 minutes to the Palace, hopefully the duelists can stand eachother that long.

Among the passengers, there was a special person called Emily. She wasn't kept in the same space as the other duelists, instead, she was kept in the back of the plane during the travel, all by herself. "Ugh... this is why i hate airplanes.. those flights are soo boring!" She claimed, as she finally awoke from her nap. After picking up her duel disk, deck, and some other small luggage, she finally left via the back, noticing all the other duelists leaving from the front. "Lets see if there are any interesting duelists here..." She whispered to herself, as she looked at all the duelists who left the plane. "Wait... is he here too?!" She said to herself, after noticing a boy she saw before leaving the plane. A big smile appeared on Emily's face, as she started walking to the driver who had a list with names on it, containing her name too. "This will be fun!" She thought, while waking towards the designated driver. ------------------------------------------- As the plane finished landing, a young male called Aono was looking out of the window. "So today will be the day I will finally duel some people who are worth the time.." He thought to himself. As he stood up, he noticed that the amount of people in the plane was quite big. "This tournament is quite big... Maybe i will even have some fun..." He joked to himself, as he picked up his duel disk, deck and other belongings. As he left the plane, he noticed a girl leaving the back of the plane. "I haven't seen her inside the plane yet... Where did she came from?" He wondered, as he lighted a cigarette up, starting to smoke while walking towards the driver who would drive him towards the palace.

Fubuki sighed, staring at the deck profile of her alternate deck to make sure everything was in order. She hadn't tested it much, of course- she had only decided to build the deck once it was confirmed she was coming to America to duel. She had been given ample time on the half a day long ride from Japan, so it was only natural to use the time on the airplane to make sure everything was in order. But the ride was... Disorienting, to say the least. She would have much preferred traveling by ship, especially given the circumstances of her mother's death. It's not that she was ungrateful, but instead it was more the fact that... Fubuki shoved those thoughts out of her mind. There was no reason for her to have such an irrational fear of planes for such a reason. The flight was just about over anyhow, and she had just confirmed both of her decks were ready. Subconsciously holding her mother's emerald necklace, Fubuki looked out the window as the plane slowly descended to the ground. The landing was a bit shaky, if nothing else. Placing her experimental deck in a box, Fubuki took her luggage and glanced at her Duel Disk before getting up and leaving with the other Duelists. Walking off the plane, Fubuki noticed a set of limousines and a bunch of men near them. Noticing her name floating abovehead, Fubuki walked over to the limo, accidentally bumping into a large man smoking a cigarette due to all the people pushing and shoving. "Sorry." she said as she continued on towards the limo. ------ Joseph laughed as he watched a comedy on the small monitor on the plane ride to Regno Rico. It was a series he had decided to pick up due to his boredom, but in the end it had caught his interest for the entire ride. Turning his glance out the window, Joseph watched as the view of the city cleared itself up. It was as large and as bright as he had expected. Even in the middle of the day, the city seemed to be as bright as it had been rumored to be. "I guess it's my time to shine, huh?" he said quietly, smiling as he glanced down at his hand. Constellarknight Diamond. A dragon made of stars. What could get cooler than that? Absentmindedly staring at the art of the card, Joseph slid the card back into his Extra Deck as the plane made it's descent. With this, his journey to the top would be begin. He'd definitely stand on top of the city and win everything. For all of the people that have put their faith in him back at home, he'd definitely win and make them proud. That's what he'd say if he was cocky, of course. Champions from the world over were coming to duel- he'd feel satisfied just coming in fifth or sixth. Watching as the plane descended onto the runway, Joseph smiled. If anything, a free trip to the city was good enough in and of itself. Leaving his seat and taking his luggage, Joseph exited the plane with everyone else as it docked and looked around for some place to- There. He just noticed his name floating about among a bunch of others on a floating display a while away. Smiling, he took his luggage and walked to the limo he was assigned, sliding in and taking a soda from a mini-fridge in the limo itself. "If you don't mind." he said, taking a sip as he pulled the luggage closer to himself to leave room for more people to enter.

Aono was enjoying his cigarette, while suddenly somebody bumped into him, making him drop his cigarette. Aono stared silent as his cigarette dropped the ground, which was the last one in the pack of cigarettes he had with him. Aono quickly turned around, and yelled "Hey... You are gonna pay for that!" With an angry voice, while the culprit responded with a "Sorry." at the same time. Aono however didn't realized it was a girl who bumped into him. And she wasn't just a girl, she was a duelist! A smile appeared on Aono's face, as he grabbed the arm of the girl. "You dropped my cigarette. Normally I wouldn't be so nice, but for you... I have a challenge." Aono said, as he let go of her arm. "Beat me in a duel right here right now, and I will forgive you. Lose, and you will buy me a new pack of cigarettes once we arrived at the location." He said, readying his duel disk, with the same smile still on his face. "Deal?" He said.

Alexander was never happier than when he got off the airplane. Who knew that he had airsickness? He never wanted to go through the long hours of nausea and dry heaving into a bag ever again. Well, it was over now, and that was something to be grateful for. Stretching his muscles, he grabbed his luggage from the luggage area and headed over to the exit. According to the instructions he was given, he would know where to go once he saw it. Huh, how vague. Oh well, he thought as he walked. Going out the exit, he scanned the area for where he should go. The group of limos outside certainly caught his attention, and the glowing green sign with his name on it was the clincher. He was heading over when something else caught his attention. He turned his head to see two other Duelists, one of which appeared to be challenging the other. For a second Alexander was tempted to let it go and watch them have a go, but then he decided that it was probably best to break it up and carry on. "Hey there! What's going on here?" Alexander shouted to them in a joyful tone, as if greeting old friends. He walked up to them and asked, "You two here for the tourney too?" Not waiting for an answer, he continued, "Great, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Save your strength when we actually face each other. Besides, the limos are here, and we need to get going. At the very least, put it off until we get there." --- Michelle was nervous. It was her first time doing such a thing. She was originally excited for the tournament, but now that excitement had worn off, and she was worried she might do something wrong, or worse, get lost. Getting her luggage, she headed for the exit and wondered where she needed to go. The limos with the green signs definitely gave a clue, and she headed over to them, looking at the seemingly emotionless and robotic drivers, then went into one of the limos. She had to admit, it was a lot better than she anticipated. She opened a compartment in a limo and was pleasantly surprised to see it was a fridge filled with food and drinks, a lot of which she liked. She opened another compartment and saw more snacks, as well as a remote control. Taking out the remote, she wondered what it was for, and she pushed the power button to see. A TV screen came down from the roof of the limo, and a selection of playbacks from previous tournaments came up. Well, this was much better than she anticipated.

"Sir, the plane has arrived at it's destination. It's time to get off, now." said a young stewardess to a man seated towards the rear of the plane. "Not now," Jackson P. Dubois replied in an irritated tone. "I'm sleeping." "Sir," the woman insisted, "we have another flight to make. You have to leave now." Jack turned over in his seat, clearly ignoring the woman. A response to which she violently poked him in the ribs. "Now!" "Fine, fine, I'm getting up." Jack grumbled, picking up his bags and making way to the ramp. "You're worse than my mother." Outside the plane now, Jack's sleep filled eyes tried desperately to adjust to the bright desert sunlight, to no avail. It's was an altogether painful experience. Where was I? Jack wondered in the mean time, struggling to remember what it was he was doing. There were people on a plane. Had he gone to Egypt? No, that wasn't right, that was several years ago. The air was too dry for it to have been South American, so Mexico was no good either. "Oh, no, not the Saudis again. Hey, you there!" Jack shouted at the nearest people to him, a small cluster of teenagers with duel disks. "Remind me where we are."

"Do it for him..." Miwa kept on repeating those words ad nauseam in the plane. She was nervous and most of her time in the plane was spent trying to calm herself down but to no avail. A mix of emotions were rushing inside of her during the ride, one of fear and the other of excitement. She and her parents had visited neighboring countries before but America? It was all new to her, but if anything, her father said that it's a great country full of sights. When the plane had landed, Miwa's doubts began to resurface once more. Those doubts began to fade as the girl surveyed her surroundings. She could see tons of duelists are far as the eye can see, some local and the others coming from various different countries, "At least it won't be lonely...". As she looked on the airport she noticed a group of men with a list of hovering names in them, no doubt listing the participants of the tournament. Walking over with her luggage, Miwa checked the list and found her name! Sighing heavily, the girl entered the limousine. ---- For Kenta, the trip on the way to the airport was exciting, to say the least. He had never been to another country before, and he certainly didn't have planned it to be America of all places! He had only known the country from his textbooks and what his History teacher taught his class, but even then, it was all about stuff that had happened in the past. When the plane had landed, a big grin adorned his face as he eagerly exited. Even though it was still the airport, the boy's excitement got the best of him and he was looking all around. "If this is what their airports look like then I can't wait to see the rest!". As he wandered to and fro-not even worrying about being lost-he saw a bunch of sharply-dressed men near a pair of limousines. The boy repeated that thought in his mind, limousines. He couldn't believe it! To think that someone like him would be able to experience luxury, in the form of a car! Making his way to the men, he noticed a list of hovering names coming from a bunch of holograms. Thinking that this might be the listing for the tournament, he leaned in to get a closer look and upon closer inspection his name was right there! Pumping his fist in the air, he muttered "Yes!" under his breath and took a seat in the limo. Life is good.

Fubuki turned her head as the man she had bumped into grabbed her arm. The stature of the man was a bit foreboding, but he seemed to have been pretty aggravated about her bumping into him. "A pack of cigarettes...?" she asked quietly as she silently tried to move away. No wait, this man was asking for a duel It was the perfect time to let her test her new deck. Silently switching out her normal deck for the test deck, Fubuki moved to accept before another person intervened in response. Something about everyone being in the tournament... So he was involved as well? "Yeah.. you heard me right, C-I-G-A-R-E-T-T-E-S. You know, the things you smoke? You just ruined my last one, so you gotta pay if you lose" Aono said mockingly to Fubuki, a sly smile on his face. "Me and this lady are going to have a duel... like it or not." he said, turning towards Alexander with an irritated look on his face. "Your beating can wait till the tournament..." he continued, signaling for Alexander to go away. "I know what a cigarette is." she said coolly, brushing the hair in front of her face aside. "I still refuse to buy cigarettes, seeing as how I'm a minor and all. I will, however, take you up on that duel." Activating her Duel Disk, Fubuki moved into an open area nearby. "Since I seem to have done you wrong here, you should have the first move." "Oh.. in that case I could perhaps smoke one of your cards after smoking you?" Aono asked mockingly with the same sly smile as before, drawing his cards from his deck. "Normally I would say ladies first, but you damaged my property, so I will go first then." He said with a more serious tone, as he drew another card from his deck. "The name is Aono by the way. Aono Kyra." He calmly stated, as he placed a monster card face-down. "Lets see how you can dance!" He shouted out with a relaxed voice, trying to make the duel less awkward. "Erm... Alright. My turn. Draw." Fubuki said, taking a card from her deck and glancing at her hand. "I summon Kuribandit in attack mode." she stated, playing the card. A little Kuriboh with a headband and an eyepatch materialized on the field in front of her. "Well isn't that a cute little critter." He mockingly said, looking at the Kuribandit in front of him. "Kuribandit. Attack the facedown card." she continued, ignoring Aono's remarks. "Sorry my lady, you will regret that!" He claimed, as his card flipped over, making a mysterious warrior appear. "Meet D.D. Warrior. She will drag your cute little Kuribandit into the void!" He said with a sly smile on his face as both cards disappeared. "If you surrender now, a kiss on my cheek will be enough." he said, testing the will of his opponent Fubuki sighed and shook her head. She messed up- she should've just left Kuribandit to let her activate it's effect. Oh well. Setting two cards from her hand face down, she motioned for her opponent to continue. "Well then.. My turn, Draw... Uhm... Alright..." he said, looking at his newly drawn card, thinking for a while. "I'll guess I will just do this then." he said calmly as he placed another monster card face-down. "Hereby I end my turn.. Lady... Lady... You haven't introduced yourself yet, what is your name?" Aono asked with a gentle voice while ending his turn. "Fubuki. Fubuki Motorei." Fubuki responded, drawing a card from her deck. "Alright Fubuki.. Nice to meet you. Lets see what you got." Aono stated in turn. "I summon Raiden in attack mode." she said, playing the card from her hand as the monster materialized on the field. "I activate Raiden's effect. I'll mill two cards from my deck, and if there are any Lightsworn monsters among them Raiden gains 200 point in attack." "Ah, I see.. you are playing Lightsworn then... I have beaten a lot of those guys, it gets a bit tedious after a while." Aono said mockingly. Fubuki silently sent two cards from her deck to the Graveyard. A Patrulea and... Reasoning. Darn. "I'll attack your facedown card with Raiden, then." she said, a small smile on her lips as she directed the monster to attack Aono's facedown card. "It seems you fell for my trap again... This time you used your effect first... Nice move." He said, as he revealed his face-down, D.D. Assailant. A mysterious looking lady appeared with a big sword in her hand, dragging both herself and Raiden into the void, as both cards got banished. "That's a pity, now you can't use him for the summoning of your Judgment Dragon." he laughed. "You didn't see the Patrulea...?" she asked herself before motioning back to Aono. "Alright then Miss Fubuki... Let's see you handle this!" Aono shouted as he drew another card. "It's time for the true power of the Goblin Black Ops!" he claimed, playing Goblin Black Ops in Attack Position. The same sly smile appears on Aono's face again, as he points towards Fubuki, making Goblin Black Ops charging Fubuki. Fubuki winced as the goblins all mobbed her, smacking her once before returning to their original position. "Well, you are lucky, as my Goblin Black Ops gets switched to defense mode, making him vulnerable." he smiled as his Goblin Black Ops switched to defense mode. "After I take you out, Perhaps I could... Take you out for a date?" he asked with a mysterious tone in his voice, not making it clear if he is actually serious or if he is just joking, as he makes the signal with his hand ending his turn. "No thanks." Fubuki smiled, a cold chill emanating from her face as she drew her card. Well, this could work. "I activate the effect of Blaster, Dragon Ruler of Infernos. By sending it and one Fire monster to the grave, I can destroy one card on the field." she explained, sending it and her newly-drawn Infernoid Piaty to the graveyard. "And my target? Your Goblin Black Ops." A giant pillar of flames immediately engulfed the monster, incinerating it into nothingness. "Not my poor Goblin Black Ops! You shall be missed, young goblins!" he said with a dissapointed look on his face. "That's all for me. I end my turn." she stated, motioning for Aono to continue. "About the date... I was just kidding. Unless you want to give it a go, I guess. I wouldn't mind getting to know such an interesting person." he said with a charming smile as he drew another card. "No response." Fubuki said, glaring at him for his lecherous speech patterns. Aono started to smile as he placed another monster in Attack Position. "Meet Mataza the Zapper. This baddy won't attack you once, but twice!" he stated as he started to laugh. "No thanks. I activate my facedown card, Breakthrough Skill!" Fubuki responded. "I'll negate the effect of Mataza, thank you very much." "Aww come on... couldn't you at least let me have fun for once?" He complained, as he forced his Mataza to attack the opponent. Fubuki winced as Mataza's blade sliced through her, lowering her Life Points even further. He was still at 8000 and she at... 5400? "Well... You know, you don't have to answer right now. You will have enough time to think about a potential time the coming weeks." he said with the same old smile back on his face. "Well it's your turn again... Play your cards wisely, or else you will end up losing this turn!" he boasted, as he started to laugh, ending his turn. "My turn. Draw." Fubuki said, a grin forming on her face. "Funny you should say that, actually..." "Oh... You are finally going to attack me this turn?" Aono said jokingly. "Probably, yes. I activate Reasoning! I assume you know the effect, so call your number." "Of course I do.. I've battled so many of those copy and paste Lightsworn decks- I know most of your monsters are Level 4... so I declare Level 4!" He shouted, hoping that Fubuki would get a Level 4 soon. Fubuki smiled as she began to mill cards from the top of her deck. Infernoid, Infernoid, Monster Gate, more Infernoids... "That was like... 10 cards so far... I guess you ran out of luck?" he asked, flashing that same sly smile again. And then a Kuribandit. Funny she should run into it again. "I'll Special Summon Kuribandit in Attack Mode, since it was different from the level of the Monster you called." Fubuki stated before continuing. "Well... at least you have some luck there... After milling all those monsters... Wait a second, those aren't Lightsworns?!" Aono exclaimed, noticing that he wasn't actually facing Lightsworns at all. "I activate the effect of Infernoid Piaty. By banishing two Infernoid monsters from my hand or Graveyard, I can Special Summon it to my side of the field." Fubuki said, banishing Infernoid Patrulea and Infernoid Antra from her Graveyard. "I shall also activate the effect of Infernoid Attondel, which lets me Special Summon it from the Graveyard by the same effect. Last but not least, I'll Special Summon Blaster from the grave by banishing another two Fire monsters from the Graveyard. Luckily, all Infernoids are Fire, so that isn't much of a problem." she stated, banishing two more Patrulea, a Harmadik and Piaty to summon both of those monsters onto her side of the field. "Battle Phase. I attack your Mataza with Attondel. Response?" Aono stared at Fubuki in disbelief, his mouth agape as he shook his head no. Smirking, Fubuki's eyes flashed light blue for a split second before she continued on. "Nothing? Alright, I activate the effect of Infernoid Attondel. If it destroys a monster by battle, it can attack once again during this Battle Phase. I attack with Attondel, then Piaty, then Blaster. Game set and match. Good try, though." Fubuki smiled as she returned all of her cards back to her Deck. Aono stood there silently for about a minute, processing what just happened, before he began to talk again. "Well, Miss Fubuki.. It was a honor to duel you. I hope to see you see again. I don't know if it will be in the Palace, the tournament itself or a date.. You never know what happens." He said, before winking at Fubuki, returning to his sly smile, as he walked away entered the limousine he was supposed to sit it, still surprised by that combo of Fubuki's. Fubuki sighed and shook her head. Too close. Definitely too close. If she hadn't drawn into Reasoning, that Duel could've gone sour really quickly. Returning her Duel Disk to it's default position, Fubuki turned and noticed a boy asking for a location. "Erm... We're in Regno Ricco... In America..." she said warily before bowing her head. "Excuse me." Fubuki followed before moving into a limousine, making sure not to pick the one that strange Aono fellow had entered earlier. ---- Joseph smiled as another person entered the limousine he was sitting in, waving to him as he took a seat nearby. A male. Phew. He could be a bit more relaxed around other guys. Though, he seemed to ba Japanese in origin. Interesting. "Hey, nice to meet you. Name's Joseph. Joseph Marshall." he said, taking the initiative and extending his free hand towards the guy. "Given that you're here, I expect we'll be seeing a lot of each other for a while."

"Oh, yes!" Jack exclaimed. "America, Rengo Rico! Yes, that's right, thank you tremendously."Jack said as a grin began to pull at the corner of his mouth. Eccentric was an easy enough act for Jack to play. After all, he was an exceptionally strange fellow. Might as well run with it, he thought. But the tournament, yes, that was where he was. Things made sense now, and blurred memories began to clear. Rengo Rico, a city where dreams could be made. The game was now, most certainly afoot. "Been awake far too long," he explained to the young lady who had answered his question. "Quiet disoriented." he continued, following her now into the limousine. "My name is Jack, Jack DuBois. Yourself?"

Ryo stepped off the plane in the airport, as he tried to figure out for the last time, on what kind of situation that he's in. First he gets a mere slip of letter of invitation, then it leads him all the way to some area like Las Vegas or Macau. "A duel monsters tournament... in a place like this, don't tell me I have to fork out millions of dollars or a hand just to play in this game... And how did that 'Khan' guy even know me in the first place?" Ryo hissed in confusion over the whole scenario, but a thing like this ain't rather surprising, considering that his parents have recently gone MIA a few months back. Still, he decided not to decline the invitation as he wanted to find out more about the tournament, and its a fun & once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to gamble against professionals. Expectedly, all kinds of people are at a place like this, there're auras of people around which his millennium eye perceives as pure black, which he wondered what kind of acts they are not capable of doing, probably none. His duel disk, and his deck of cards are placed in his bag, walking towards the limousine he's assigned to. He noticed someone with a strange aura, something that consists of a color he've never seen before. "Just who is that person..." Ryo entered the Limousine, turning on his PSVita, playing while waiting for the trip ^^

When he entered the limousine, Kenta was greeted by another person. Waving to him in a friendly manner as he took a seat nearby, in return he too gave a small wave. Upon closer inspection, he deduced that the boy seemed to be American, his facial features seem to imply that. This was confirmed when the boy introduced himself in English, a subject that Kenta wasn't particularly good at, and while he did understand him introducing himself, the second string of words he said flew over his head. Not wanting to be rude, the boy extended his hand to his and gave it a little shake, and with the best of his English abilities, he tried to respond to the young man. "Ah, Kenta. Kenta Hamasaki! Its...nice to meet...you too!" There were some awkward pauses in there as the boy tried to converse with the other. He gave a short bow in front of him after introducing himself and lowered his head as he tried to explain that he cannot understand some of the words he said.

"Ah... My name is Fubuki Motorei..." Fubuki stated quietly, moving a bit away from the boy. It was just a gut feeling, but that boy... He was just... Well, she couldn't quite put her finger on it, but it felt like there was more to him than he put on airs about. It probably wasn't nice to be suspicious about otherd, but after that incident with that Aono character... "It was no problem to me at all..." she said, swapping out her regular deck in for her Infernoids. Though the deck did have a lot of kill potential, the cards didn't exactly... "Mesh" with her well. Of course, her regular deck was the one for her. ------ Joseph smiled and let out a nervous laugh as Kenta introduced himself and attempted to explain the situation between himself and the English language. Though it was a bit broken, what Joseph caught here and there was good enough to form a picture in his mind of the dilemma he had accidentally presented to the boy. "Ah, I'm sorry. Got way too overexcited there. Sadly, I can't speak Japanese at all so you'll have to look elsewhere for that. But I hope we can get along all the same" he said, firmly shaking Kenta's hand as he reached into the mini-fridge and pulled out a soda for Kenta. Extending his arm, Joseph smiled. "You want?" he asked, tilting the unopened bottle towards Kenta.

Alexander had been expecting the brush off from at least one of the Duelists, and it seemed like the Duel couldn't be stopped anyway. Oh well, at least the Duel was entertaining. Satisfied that the conflict was coming to an end, he said, "Wonderful! An excellent display of tactics!" He then turned around and headed for the limos, turning his back and waving. "Meet you guys at the tournament!" Alexander entered a limo, and found someone else already inside. The boy had an interesting eyepatch, and Alexander wondered what he was playing. "Hey there, nice to meet ya. Name's Alexander," Alexander introduced himself to Ryo. Without pause, he opened a compartment in the limo and found a bag of chips. Taking it and opening the bag, he pulled out a chip and offered it to Ryo. "Want one?" he asked.

A sense of relief filled Kenta's senses as Joseph warmly welcomed him, he's not even in the tournament proper yet but he's already made a new friend! Something which he was happy for, even with the language barrier making things difficult for them. The other boy promptly explained that he cannot speak in his language, much like Kenta cannot speak theirs. It seems that aside from strong duelists, the English language will be one of the boy's challenges. As Joseph apologized for his excitement and hoping that they can get along nonetheless. Besides, there was bound to be more Japanese duelists like himself, he was sure of it! With a tournament this big after all. With the thought in his mind, Kenta became excited once more...Eager to start battling others. Meanwhile, the boy he was with offered him a soda and he happily accepted, taking a few sips from the beverage. Deciding that getting to know him better would provide a boost, he tried to ask a few questions of his own. "You duelist, correct? What...deck you use?" he asked Joseph.

Joseph smiled at Kenta's reactions- they reminded him of when he was younger. But at his age, reminiscing about childhood was kind of... Stupid, to be quite honest. But that was irrelevant. Now was the time for a meet and greet, and so he continued on. Kenta's question wasn't really unexpected, to be honest- they were all there to Duel, after all. It was only natural to respond to such a question. "Er... How to explain my deck...? It's a Star Seraph Satellarknight deck, to put it one way or another. I run the Star Seraph engine because it gives draw power..." he trailed off before stopping. His explanation would probably fly right over Kenta's head. There was probably a simpler way to... Oh, there was always that. Taking out his deck from its position on his Duel Disk, Joseph used an open seat near him as a platform to sort his deck out by monsters, spells and traps. The images alone would probably bridge the gap. The deck was also quite popular in Japan, if he recalled correctly, so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to assume he would recognize it. "What about you?" he asked in turn as he waited for Kenta to look over his deck.

"Fubuki, you say? It's a pleasure to meet you." Jack replied cheerily, not unaware of the girl's subtle attempts to distance herself from him. Suspicious are you?he asked himself. Or just shy? Goodness, I hope it's the first. This conversation will be altogether more interesting if you aren't a moron. "Tell me, Fubuki, is this your first tournament? You seem somewhat shy now, but when you were dueling, you fought with such confidence. It was impressive, to say the least." It was true, miss Fubuki had offered Khans guest with quite the show first thing upon arrival. Jack doubted weather or not the infernoids could stand up against his own deck, however. "I can't wait to duel, myself." he concluded.

When Kenta asked Joseph what decked he used, the latter went on a long explanation on how his deck worked. All of this was far too complex for him to understand and he stared on with a blank expression and his mouth agape. And what's this "Star Seraph" he was mentioning? Is it some sort of new archetype? The boy thought to himself. And what was it's relation to the "tellarknight" archetype? He wondered. Fortunately for him, Joseph had realized what he had done and instead of telling Kenta more of his deck. He decided to show it to him instead. He looked on as the other boy took out his deck and began to show the contents within. At first he was still more or less confused, but once the pictures became clear, so did everything else. "Star...Seraph? I think you mean...Holy Lightning, or...is that what...they call them in English?" Kenta exclaimed, he did recall that in other parts of the globe, some card names were different from theirs. "But, you are correct! Deck is very...strong too, I think...it won a tournament once..." He couldn't remember the exact details of that tournament, but judging by how it won, it would seem that it's no pushover. Making a note in his mind, Kenta would be careful if he ever has to fight Joseph.

"First...? I wouldn't say that much..." Fubuki said, still eyeing the person carefully. "I will admit that I get a little... Enthusiastic while in a Duel, though... That Aono person was mocking me with that deck of his. There's no way someone with that kind of unfocused deck would manage to get to this tournament. He's hiding his true strength..." she said quietly as she focused her gaze on him. "Like you are."
"Er... That name doesn't ring a bell at all. But if that's what they're called in Japan, then I can't really argue." Joseph said, quickly compiling his deck back into a single stack and shuffling them all together multiple times over. "I started building the deck after a famous Duelist visited my father's restaurant. It's a place that's very famous for catering to duelists, and it just so happened that he was there one day. He was pretty nice, giving me some pointers and all... Then he gave me this." he continued, pulling out Constellarknight Diamond from his Extra Deck. "It was a pretty cool parting gift and what motivated me to build the deck. Hope I get to meet him again someday..." he finished, shaking his head and smiling. "What about you? What deck do you run?"

Jack smiled wide, a genuine expression this time. There was a new light in his eye that said as much. A worthy adversary at last? Jack thought. "Impressive." he said simply. "You're very observant, Fubuki. I respect that."
