Leila said softly to him, "Be careful", her eyes held no emotion. But she hoped he knew everyone cared for him now. So he is a friend and we care for him. She said nothing more and as closer they got to the pack, the more she went silent as if she was a actually shadow. She didn't know why she cared a lot, she always wished she didn't even have a big heart. But she couldn't help it, it was so natural. So when they arrived and the Alpha was in sight she took a glance at Shadow then at Wildflower then jogged to the Alpha. She said softly, "Alpha can I ask you something?"

When Wildflower made it back to the rock with the others, she split off from the group, trying to find the pups. When she managed to find them She found herself smiling, they looked so happy. And apparently they had caught a rabbit to share. "Autumn, Dodge, look at that big rabbit! I'm so very impressed." She licked their heads and laid down next to them. "When you two finish eating I'll take you to the water to clean you up."

Autumn tensed up when she saw the others come back and Wildflower head in their direction. She was prepared to get scolded for eating without the pack but all the female did was lick their heads and lay down next to them. Autumn glanced at her. "Dodge caught it all by himself." She looked down at her feet. "I can't catch anything. Mother was right. I am useless." She mumbled.

Wildflower nuzzled Autumn, that poor little pup. She couldn't imagine how badly she had been treated. "Autumn, don't worry, when you grow up you'll be so amazing at hunting. You're just young right now, but I bet you have a great mind. Come here and lay down, today has been a long day for you." She called Autumn over, offering herself as a device for comfort.

Ruka stood up when the girls came back with the lone wolf he had been observing earlier. "Yes you may." He glanced at Shadow, knowing how he felt before looking back at Leila.

Feeling a little bit better from Wildflower's words, the small pup laid down next to the older wolf and curled up next to her. She yawned, displaying tiny sharp teeth before burying her nose against the females side. She fought against the pull of her eyelids but after a few moments sleep won out and her eyes slipped closed, her breathing deepened as the tiny pup fell asleep.

Leila watched his gaze shifted towards Shadow made her a bit uneasy but she stood straight but her voice soft, "We talked to the Lone Wolf. And he seems to be a no threat. He seems to have gotten along with everyone. And we ask you if he can come with us to hunt?" She looked at the Alpha. She hoped he would let him hunt. But....something was telling her...something might go wrong.

Wildflower smiled, watching as the pup pressed up against her side. When she saw that Autumn was asleep she set her eyes upon Dodge. "Dodge, you can play for now, but I need you to be quiet. Okay?"

Ruka looked over at Shadow and gave him a warm smile before looking back at Leila. "Of course." He looked at the lone wolf. "He can even join the pack if he wants." He said with that warm smile still on his face. ___________________________________________________________________ Jenna thought about the unknown pack(Ruka's) her son had mentioned. They were loners, but also strangers. She wasn't sure if she and her son should go back and ask to join them. She looked at her son with one question in mind. "Did you see or sense any wolf about your age?" She asked aloud. Jonas looked up at his mother and nodded. "I sensed two other pups. Can we go back there?" He looked at her with pleading eyes. Friends were something he lacked and was eager for.

Leila stared at him, her piercing blue eyes stared into his. Something was bugging him a lot somehow. And she could see it, well that's what she thought. So she said softly looking at Shadow but still talking to the her alpha,"Ruka something is bothering you. I can tell. Maybe its just me but...I could see something is bothering you." She took a glance at her alpha once again then she turned heading towards her cave but not without saying, "Howl when the hunt is on. I'll be in my cave" she nodded her head at Wildflower, and the pups giving them a small smile. Then she looked at Shadow then said, "When a howl is heard, hunt is calling" then she walked into the cave darkness hugging her once again.

Dodger obeyed but kept eating the rabbit happily before nudging it towards wildflower offering the rest to her. he thought that maybe if he bribed her with food he wouldn't have to get a bath.he could only hope.

Wildflower ate the rest of the rabbit happily, and when she was finished She picked Autumn up, setting her into the den, She then came back outside and picked Dodge up by the ruff, taking him down to the river so She could wash him up. "You'll be so happy when you get clean. Your snout is all dirty and so is your fur." When they arrived at the river, Wildflower set Dodge down and lapped up some water. Then she used her tongue to bathe Dodge. "See, isn't that better?"

Dodger quickly began to whimper and back away from the water and wildflower not wanting anything to do with a bath he turned to run off.

Wildflower chased after Dodge, and soon caught up to him. "Dodge, you need to be good, because you need to listen to me or it's naptime." She stopped the small pup in his tracks and smiled, she really didn't want to make him upset, but he was So dirty! "Come on Dodge, let's go back to the rock, because if you're over in the rock I can trust you to stay there, right?"

Ulfang saw the events that transpired between his pack and the loner wolf. He didn't really have know what to say, so his best course of action was to remain silent unless asked for his opinion. He lay down upon the soft grass, enjoying the songs of the birds. This newcomer looked suspicious and he would keep his eyes upon him, but for now he would wait for Ruka to give the word for the hunt. __________________________ Gron's snout was up in the air sniffing away. He smelt something dead, an elk perhaps? A free meal was always a treat, as it meant he didn't have to use his own energy to hunt. He started off, taking great strides and eventually, from behind a large a thicket of grass, he saw a carcass being eaten by a what he presumed to be a mother wolf and her pup. He could not help but put on a devilish grin as he looked at the dead elk, so much meat for one wolf and her scraggly pup. He stepped forward out of the grass, his red eyes gleaming in the sunlight. He started to let out a menacing growl as his hairs on the back of his neck stood up, for the elk would be his.

Shadow had been listening this whole time, and he approached Ruka, chuckling. "Good ol' Ruka. Depenable as always. So how have you been, old pal?"

"fine... but i can't promise i wont run off if i see a rabbit or a squirrel." i say trotting by your side

Wildflower smiled at Dodge, he had a very adventurous spirit. "Well, when we get back maybe I'll ask Ulfang if he'll play a bit with you. He's always polite." When they arrived at the rock Wildflower placed Dodge in the center of it, there he would be easily spotted if he tried to run off, but she wouldn't have to keep an eye on him all the time. She wandered off to see if she could find Ulfang, it had been a while since they had talked.

Autumn didn't sleep for very long, having sensed that the warmth at her side had left. She exited the cave and looked around, spotting Dodge. She trotted over and sat next to him, nuzzling against him. Whatcha doing?" She inquired, wondering if she had missed anything while asleep. Snowfeather trotted into the clearing, having returned from patrolling the forest. She looked around for Ruka to make her report. Autumn saw a white wolf step into the clearing and her eyes widened. She sprang to her feet and raced across the clearing. "Mother! Mother you found me!" She cried, pouncing on the wolf in excitement. Snowfeather stumbled in surprise, gazing down at the pup with confusion. "I'm...I'm sorry little one. I think you have mistaken me for someone else. I don't have any pups." Autumn frowned in confusion. "But...But I'm your daughter. And you're my mother!" "No young one, I am not." She told her gently. "But you have to be! You have to! Why..Why did momma leave me?" Autumn wailed. Snowfeather, alarmed, began licking the pup, hoping to calm her down as Autumn sobbed. The pup just couldn't understand. Why was momma saying she didn't know who she was? Was she mad at Autumn? It just had to be her, it was the same fur color, markings, everything! Why did momma not want her? The thought made her cry louder.
