Leila felt her heart beat fast as she
heard the sound of a pup crying which made her stand up in alarm. Seems like every female in the pack loves the pups so much. It made her smile tho, but she was snapped out of thought when the crying got louder. It made her get up and run towards the crying.
Once she got there, she saw little Autumn crying with one of the pupcaretakers, Snowfeather. She ran to the little pup and looked at Snowfeather, her eyes held calm but inside held anger. But it never showed in her eyes, "Why is she crying Snowfeather?" She nuzzle the little pup saying soft words to her. Then said to the little one, "Why are you crying my dear?"
She noticed Dodger was missing making a whimper try to escape from her. But like always, it never came out, so she looked at Snowfeather saying once again "Where is Dodger?" She said slowly as her concern self grew.

When Wildflower heard the cry of one of the pups, she went running to it. Inside her den was Snowfeather, Leila, and Autumn. Wildflower calmly approached the two, concern in her eyes. "What happened? Autumn, are you okay?" She whimpered, pressing her nose into Autumn's side, that poor pup looked like it had been through hell. She glanced at Snowfeather, and looked outside, then she walked outside, nipping Snowfeather's ear, a sign for her to come along.
Snowfeather nuzzled against Autumn, feeling helpless as the little pup continued crying. She heard paws drumming against the ground and looked up to she Leila race over to them. Autumn pressed against Snowfeather, whimpering. "M-Momma l-left m-me." She sniffled. Snowfeather looked at Leila sadly. "It seems she has confused me for her mother." The female replied in her usual soft voice. She was confused though. Where had this little pup come from? She heard Leila ask her where someone called Dodger was. "Who?" She replied, her confusion growing. She felt a nip on her ear and looked over to she Wildflower. She gazed at the she-wolf with confusion, wanting to know what was going on.
Leila felt her eyes shine with worry for the first time. And it really didn't go good for her. She felt her heart race more as shr turned sniffing the air, and caught the scent of the little male pup. She raced following the scent of the Dodger. She ran faster as she got closer, she didn't bother waiting for anyone. She didn't know why she was so worried but she didn't care now. All she wanted was to find the little one and bring him back. At that thought, she breathed heavily as she ran faster.
Then she saw the little one chase a squirrel and her heart lightened, "Dodger!" She ran towards him and saw a squirrel

Wildflower stood outside the cave door, and as Snowfeather looked over, she did her best to explain without frightening the pup even more. "Snow, this pup us fragile right now. It'll take her a few days to...adjust. Until then, don't spend too much time with her if you can tell she's uncomfortable." She said this as quietly as she could, gazing at the sad pup. She could understand how Autumn felt, and deep inside she wanted to cry along with the pup, instead she put on a lopsided smile, hoping to soothe the girl.
Autumn's crying had slowed and eventually stopped. She sniffled, pulling back as she gazed up at Snowfeather. The pup could see now that this wasn't her mother. Her mother had green eyes and this wolf had blue. "You're really not momma." She mumbled to herself as she got up and wandered away, ears dropping and tail limp. The tiny pup settled under a tree, amethyst eyes staring blankly in front of her her.
Snowfeather turned to Wildflower. "What's going on? Where did she come from? What happened to her?" She felt her heart go out to the sorrowful little thing but she also felt a sense of helplessness because she wanted so badly to fix whatever was bothering Autumn but didn't know how to do so.

"She lost her mother today, we found her and another pup named Dodger out in the field earlier. You must remind her of her mom." Wildflower gazed at Autumn, and nodded, she could practically see the fear in the little pup's eyes. "I don't know what she wants right now, but she usually likes a bit of compassion." With that, Wildflower walked over to Autumn, and laid down again. "I won't leave again, okay Autumn? So we can talk, and you can get some sleep."
Snowfeather's eyes widened, looking at the small pup again. Poor thing, to have to go through that kind of thing. Snowfeather could understand then, why the poor mite had taken such a shock when she had seen the older wolf. And then for the wolf who looks like her mother to say she doesn't know who she is? Snowfeather remained silent as Wildflower padded over to the pup and laid down.
Autumn looked up when Wildflower laid down next to her. She was quiet before she spoke. "Did I do something wrong? Is that why mother left me?" She asked in a tiny voice.

Dodger chases the squirrel right on its heels almost catching the squirrel before it scampers up a tree causing dodge to run headfirst into the tree and falling back onto my back legs my head spinning.

Wildflower shook her head, trying to find the right words to explain the situation. "No, I'm sure your mother loved you. Maybe-Maybe she was afraid. And she couldn't take care of you, so she left you here, knowing that you would be happy." Wildflower found herself whimpering softly as She told Autumn this, because even though she tried to shape it into a nice story She found that it wasn't one. "But you have to remember that we can keep you safe now, and that you're one of us."

Dodger slowly staggered back towards the den where wildflower and Autumn was. A small bump had formed on his head. he got to the den staggering over to the two girls and just letting his legs get out collapsing in front of the two girls

Gron's snout was up in the air sniffing away. He smelt something dead, an elk perhaps? A free meal was always a treat, as it meant he didn't have to use his own energy to hunt. He started off, taking great strides and eventually, from behind a large a thicket of grass, he saw a carcass being eaten by a what he presumed to be a mother wolf and her pup. He could not help but put on a devilish grin as he looked at the dead elk, so much meat for one wolf and her scraggly pup. He stepped forward out of the grass, his red eyes gleaming in the sunlight. He started to let out a menacing growl as his hairs on the back of his neck stood up, for the elk would be his.Jenna stood up when she heard a growl and turned around to face a male. She nudged her son, signaling for him to get behind her. She turned to the wolf and got in a defensive stance before growling back. Jonas obeyed his mother's signal and went behind her. He poked his head from behind her legs to see what was going on. He looked up to see an adult male that seemed to come off as intimidating for a wolf his age. _________________________________________________________________________
Ruka shook his head and smiled at Leila, letting her know he's fine before turning his attention to Shadow once she left. "I've been fine. So, would you like come back in?" He asked.Shadow had been listening this whole time, and he approached Ruka, chuckling. "Good ol' Ruka. Depenable as always. So how have you been, old pal?"Leila watched his gaze shifted towards Shadow made her a bit uneasy but she stood straight but her voice soft, "We talked to the Lone Wolf. And he seems to be a no threat. He seems to have gotten along with everyone. And we ask you if he can come with us to hunt?" She looked at the Alpha. She hoped he would let him hunt. But....something was telling her...something might go wrong.Ruka looked over at Shadow and gave him a warm smile before looking back at Leila. "Of course." He looked at the lone wolf. "He can even join the pack if he wants." He said with that warm smile still on his face.
"I'm not sure I deserve to come back," Shadow said. "Not after the incident..." He sat down, looking at Ruka. "I would probably end up getting carried away during a hunt just like last time..."

It made sense to her and though she was still sad momma had left she felt a bit better because she knew it was nothing that she had done that had caused her mother to do what did. Autumn rested her head on her paws, gazing up at the sky and watching the clouds roll along the bright blue expanse.

Wildflower nodded, gazing up at the sky as well. She was glad that she didn't have to explain this to the pup. "You're very smart for you're age, Autumn. Soon you'll have this all figured out and you'll be very successful. You may even find yourself leading this pack." Wildflower swung her tail through the air, and rolled over onto her back. She felt a bit better, knowing that Autumn understood this, and she felt as if today could finally come to an end, and She could relax. She wanted to call one of the other pack members over, maybe Ulfang, since they hadn't been talking lately. She wondered if he liked the pups, because she absolutely did.

When I tried to leave the territory, they had other wolves standing guard. I'll have to get rid of that pack before I can rejoin you. The guards there know my smell, so I can't rejoin your pack until I take care of them.""I'm not sure I deserve to come back," Shadow said. "Not after the incident..." He sat down, looking at Ruka. Ruka nodded in understanding. "Then do what you must." He jumped back onto his rock and sat down. "As for me, I need to send out the hunting party in a few minutes." He said.
