"Ariel its ok we are friends here in this situation and I am here if you need someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on." Mellie said to her for she was worried for she was also the best head maid she worked for, Mellie admired Ariel for even though she was young she had the ability to be a good personal and head maid of the house. The head maid back at the Ravenwood residence had answered the phone. "Ravenwood residence how may I help you?" She asked. "Hello? Ah yes, I'd like to speak with your employer, Mr. Ravenwood." She heard the man say and she knew who it was. "Master Spencer I presume and Master Charles is with his granddaughter trying to convince her to be his heir to the company but I am sure Lady Amy must be tired so please wait a moment." SHe said as she took the phone to Amys room as Charles talked to Amy about being his heir but all she said was she wuld sleep on it for now and Charles was ok with that. "Sir Master Spencer is on the other line." SHe said as she held the phone and Charles got up and walked out the room and closed Amy's door. "Thank you Ashely." He said and took the phone. "Hello this is Charles Ravenwood speaking." He said as he made his way back to his office.

"Ariel its ok we are friends here in this situation and I am here if you need someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on." Ariel continued to remain silent, though she did nod to Mellie’s words. It was good to know that she could rely on others in the household; being the head maid often left her lonely in her position. She blinked back to reality when the lawyer suddenly rose up from his seat and walked out of the room. Apparently his business here was over and done with. It was agreed that Phillip’s mother would take a small vacation to ease her mind while Spencer and Phillip handled the family business. “Hello this is Charles Ravenwood speaking." On the other end of the line, Spencer smirked coyly. “Ah, Mr. Ravenwood! Just the man I wanted to speak to. Listen, I thought it would be best to bring that granddaughter of yours over for some…time with Phillip. He’s been very lonely without her lately and I’m sure her presence would help ease his transition.” He tipped his fedora unconsciously “What do you say?”

Charles listened to Spencer as he sat down in his chair and thought it was odd. "Well spencer that might be hard Amy is still on strict bed rest and will be starting Physical Therapy soon to help her since she reccently just had heart surgery." He said over the phone and he did not trust Spencer at all but he was worried about Philp. "Though I do find it interesting you want to do that after saying horrible things about my granddaughter at the hospital." He said for he was still not happy with that at all. "Don;t get me wrong I do anyhting to help the boy Philip but she is my only grandchild." He explained to him for he was protective of her.

Ah, Charles, you know I would never do anything as to willingly insult your granddaughter!” Spencer said on the phone. “Consider it me just getting over my grief, yeah?” He leaned back in his chair. “Though I can wait. Just send her in whenever she recovers! I’m sure she’s been waiting to see her dear Phillip.”

Charles listened to his explanation and inly shook his head at what he heard. "Spencer you have a weird way of showing grief." Charles said on the phone as he looked at the clock. "I will talk to Amy about it her going over for Philip but if she does I am sending her a personal maid I want her to take over my company one day." he said I Spencer and wrote something down on a peice of paper. "I will call back and let you know what she decides on and if she does agree I will let you know when she will be able to go over." He said to spencer for Charles wanted Amy to have a say I to this. "Well then I must go I have a meeting in the morning so goodnight and sorry for your loss." He said and hung up.

“Yes, you do that then. Bye, bye!” Spencer hung the phone up, the smirk never leaving his face. Ah, things never did change, now did they? He could never understand what sort of man his brother saw in Mr. Ravenwood, the old fart. Whatever it may be was now dead, ready to be buried six feet under in the next day. In the other room, Phillip sighed at all the preparations needed to be made for the funeral. It felt like, even in death, his father had managed to cause a burden in the household. Blinking, he forced a smile when he finally noticed Mellie with Ariel. “Good evening there.”

Charles shook his head after hanging up and his head maid brought some tea and his medications. "I do not trust that man sir he has alternitve motive behind this of having Amy at his place." She said and Charles nodded in agreement. "But it must be good for Philip to have AMy there since they are so close." Charles said with a sigh as he drank his tea and took his medicine before going off into his thoughts. Mellie looked at Philip and bowed her head. "Good Evening Master Philip and please you do not have to force a smile around us." Mellie said for she kenw a forced smile when she sees one.

Phillip’s smile promptly fell as Mellie was apparently able to see right through him. A frown now covered his face, though it was one of little sorrow and more of anxiety for the future. “Yes of course,” he finally said. “Sorry. I’m just trying to get into the role of things. False smiles are needed for the business world.” He looked at them both in contempt. Ariel nodded, moving away towards the hall. “I’ll go make us all some coffee and tea,” she called out to them both.

"Master Philp there are times when you need to put that fake smile on but not here this is your home and you should be free to show your expressions here freely." Mellie said to him for she wanted him to have some freedom like that and she knew Spencer was going to try something. "So unless you are meeting a client or in the public or corperate office then you show your true emotions here and at the Ravenwood Manor." Mellie said to him. Mellie looked at Ariel beforebakc at Philp. "Besides I am sure if young Amy was here she would be telling you the same thing for she worked as a maid I am sure when she worked she had to fake smile also but I am also sure when she goes home she lets out all her emotions just so it won't bottle up.

Phillip chuckled. "Well I won't lie, your words do make me feel a bit better Mellie. There's no surprise then, to hear that you're one of the more likable servants in the manor," he told her. "Even so, there are too many things at stake now. I'm afraid I'll have to continue this fake smile." He paused in consideration. "However, I'll take your advice if it makes you happy," he said, dropping the smile and frowning. At least he was showing his true emotions now. Minutes later, Ariel returned with cups filled to the brim with steaming hot tea and coffee.

Mellie smiled at Master philip and ruffled his hiar. "There we go besides its better to let the emotion out so that way you can move forward more easily." She said with a small smile as Ariel came out with the drinks. "Things will get better one day it will take time." She said to him with a small smile. Time went off and Mellie did her best to support Philip but heard the knews the Amy had fully recovered and that she was doing well with her grandfathers studies. BUt she kenw master spencer wanted her to come to the mansion for Philip but got a strange feeling that he wnated her here for another reason.
