Dodger looked at her bewildered. "umm. you touch another wolf then run away before they touch you." i say trying to be as blunt as possible so she can understand.

Another wolf who looked just like James carefully sneaked up behind Ruka, and giggled. "So, James has come back, has he?" She knew it would be a shock to Ruka, because she supposedly died in the incident. It was James's sister, Umbra.

Wildflower snarled, stopping in her tracks along with Ulfang and Shadow. She would have tried an intelligible response, but she was too agitated. "Why don't you two go on ahead? I just need some time alone, and neither of you seem to be helping anything." Without waiting for a response, she rushed off in a random direction. She didn't want to head home, so she made sure She ran in strange directions, even when she smelled different wolves, or other animals, she kept running that way, sometimes zig-zagging so she would forget her path. In the long run, this wouldn't be a great idea, but it seemed practical for now.

By this point the group had reached the edge of their territory when Leila ran off and Ulfang had stopped dead in his tracks when she did. He looked at her run away and knew it would be futile to pursue. Looking at Shadow he said, "I believe so, but there might be a couple of issues when we get back. For now lets just push it aside and focus on the task at hand." Before he could move on the wind changed direction and he smelled something dead and close. "Do you smell that...?" he murmured.

Shadow looked at Ulfang. "I smell it too. There's something dead nearby. We should be careful. Other wolves might be around," he said.

Ulfang shook his head, "Yeah we should be." He quickly looked around then back at Shadow, feeling sad that the two girls left but this had priority over them. "Well..looks like it's just us. I think the best course of action is to use your ambush tactic. You flush it out and I'll ambush it. Come on, they should be just over that hill." Ulfang pointed his snout at the hill, which was about a quarter of a mile away. he trotted off.

Wildflower found herself laid down in a patch of soft grass, whimpering loudly. She rested her head on her paws and surveyed her surroundings, she was far away from her pack's territory. So She was basically free game. She wondered if anyone from her pack could manage to here her this far away, and this thought only made her cries louder. She closed her eyes, and tried to make the world go away, so she could feel better.

"And if they touch you, you then have to chase them and try to touch them?" Autumn asked, quickly catching onto what Dodger was explaining. It sounded simple enough. As long as she could keep herself from tripping(an unlikely thing really) she would be just fine.

Ruka turned around to come face to face with another wolf. "Yes, Shadow is back, not officially a member yet though."
Umbra giggled. "Don't you recognize me Ruka? I mean, I almost died."
Ulfang shook his head, "Yeah we should be." He quickly looked around then back at Shadow, feeling sad that the two girls left but this had priority over them. "Well..looks like it's just us. Shadow looked at Ulfang while following him. "You should wait on this side of the group of elk. I'll circle around and find one that's big and old enough, and scare it towards you."

"Sure thing, I always enjoy going for the kill." A couple of minutes later they were on top of the hill, looking over it they saw a massive herd of elk, grazing and going about their daily activities. "Would you look that." Ulfang muttered. "Right, lets get in position and good luck. I can almost taste the juicy meat." Ulfang exclaimed while starting to walk away. _____________ By this point in time Gron had moved on from the elk, its meat starting to dull. He was walking through the forest when he heard what sounded like whimpering. It was close so he decided to investigate. Walking a bit further, he managed to come to a clearing. He hid himself from view and he could see another wolf, crying loudly. It was a small wolf, tan in color and looked almost like a pup to him. He started to growl, his red eyes blazing as he walked out of the forest, into the field. This wolf would know his wrath.

Ruka tilted his head before taking a closer look at this wolf. "Umbra, Shadow's sister. I'm sure he'll be glad to see you. He seemed very heart-broken whenever he or some other wolf mentioned you." He said. __________________________________________________ Jenna picked up her son by the scruff before standing up. She was gonna try and find a shelter that wasn't too far from here. Jonas looked up at her while being carried. "Mom, where we going?" He asked. "Till we get a chance to ask those wolves your earlier question, we are going to find a temporary den to stay in." Jenna stated as she walked.

Autumn blinked before barking and running after him. She suddenly tripped over her paws and went sprawling. She sprang back to her feet a few seconds later and continued to run after. Snowfeather watched in amusement as the pups played with each other, a small smile spreading her features.

Umbra looked at Ruka. "I think he'll be surprised to see me here when they get back from their hunt." Shadow nodded, then went ahead and circled around to the other side of where the elk were supposed to be, rolling around in a mud puddle to hide his scent. He then just watched the elk, giving the others time to get in position.

Ulfang was in position, near a nice shrub that was low down on the ground. The wind was in his favor today, so he didn't have to mask his scent. He would wait for Shadow to bring him the elk, then when the chance was right he would strike.

Wildflower jumped, her eyes snapping open. She found herself staring at another wolf, he was huge, and appeared to be threatened. She slowly raised herself up off the ground, her whimper turning into a growl. She went on the defensive, deciding to study her foe. He was big, like Ulfang, but this didn't mean much. If he was big, he was probably slow, and she could easily run circles around him. That didn't mean this had to come down to a fight though, and if she could avoid it she would. "I'm not a threat. If you would give me a moment, I could leave." She was still at attention, but she tried to look compassionate.

As soon as Shadow thought he had given them enough time, he ran after the group of Elk, trying to lure one towards the other hunters. He started chasing them, getting a particularly big one to run towards Ulfang and the others.
