I would prefer Hal over John, but if it was me then I would have all of the human Green Lanterns in the cinematic universe. If Warner Bros is following the New 52 then they could do a series of movies based on Green Lantern, New Guardians and Corps. I would also love to see a Red Lantern movie.

Nathan Fillion would be an ideal Hal choice. Nowhere does it say that Hal has to be young. In fact if I'm not mistaken Hal was getting on in years before that whole 'Parralax' fiasco. No reason GL couldn't be the same age as Bats, operating in space for years before Supes ever showed up on the scene.

True this, plus I recall Hal having epic grey side burns during the Parralax fiasco so I think you're onto something.

Yeah, Geoff Johns rebooted it saying Parallax made Hal's hair go grey, but at the time it was really just cause Hal was old.

Geoff Johns also tried to kill Nightwing and made him into Agent Grayson. We don't like Geoff Johns lol.

I've heard it both ways. I really just want him to go back to being Nightwing. Get back to when he was set up in Bludhaven and doing his thing, dating Babs. Though Babs is weird nowadays too, all hipster chic and whatnot.

Eh ten years at the most. I myself as a millennial will always see John Stewart as the Green Lantern. Idris Elba would kill it but I want other less established actors to be given a chance.

I actually looked up earlier in case anyone called me on that lol. There's 11 years of an age difference between Cavill and Affleck. Though with how youthful Cavill can look and how old Affleck can look it wouldn't be hard to make them look 25 and 45 as Superman and Batman respectively. I'm pretty sure however both Clark and Bruce are mid to late twenties in the comics, New52 included. Also with the New52 ending, is there really a point in modelling your cinematic universe on what must be a failed venture after only lasting four years?

The New52 is ending? So are they reinstating the pre-flashpoint canon?

They're doing some sort of event called Convergence which is meshing the New52 and Pre-Flashpoint stories so it's likely going to be mostly the New52 but most of the things people complained about being gone are likely going to be back haha.
