People have been disappearing. It’s been on the news, but you never think it would happen to you. You’re wrong. Before you know it you wake up in a white room, alone. The next few days are full of pain as you are experimented on and tortured. Eventually, if you didn’t die first, you are cast into another room, with a bunch of other people this time. There, you find out you’re now the property of the government who have discovered a new gene in the human body that makes then susceptible to hyper-survival-mutation that they call the ‘Mutagen’. In simple terms, when faced with extreme danger or the threat of death the body will adapt to survive. Powers. Yep. You’re now a mutant, x-men style. What the government intends to do with you, well that part is fairly uncertain for now. Your days now consist of a very structured schedule, you sleep and eat when they tell you, you have limited free time to yourself but mostly you are in with others in similar situations to yourself or they are testing you, trying to encourage you to develop your powers, become more powerful. So this is my basic concept, I’m thinking everyone will be playing ‘new-ins’, which is a word the rest have made up for new arrivals after they finish the initial mutation process. This way everyone can be on a fairly similar page in terms of what they know etc. Some of you may be able to guess where the plot is going, but it’s a secret for now so spoilers/guesses.

@ Alternax: I'd say just post it, if I have any issues I'll just send you a PM, I haven't really had any issues so far. I will be getting the RP up later today for me guys (I just got up and have to be at work really soon so I don't have time at the moment) but I should have the intro post up sometime later this afternoon my time (in about 7 hours).

Should we come up with some sort of posting order or just wing it? Personally I've had horrible luck with posting orders, like RP killing luck. I don't know about everyone else though.

So I hope you don't mind that I took a few things from your post Enkeli but I was kinda wondering how to start. Anyways hopefully my first post wasn't to lame or full of errors.

I wouldn't bother with a post order, I think everyone here is smart enough to realise when to post. Although if everyone is in a big group I'd appreciate if everyone gave enough time for everyone to post, so no back and forth unless it's just to two of you please. That being said if no one posts for 2 days or so I feel like that's more than enough time for you to reply so I will try and keep the RP alive.

@Midna-Phobia: What exactly is your plan for the next few posts? Like will we just follow your footsteps? Example being, you post in yours that its time for food, time for training, and we just react to it?

I'm thinking for now it will mostly be introducing the environment and how things work here. Your characters will have a few days off to recover and adjust so there's time for bonding and development.

Well she's been online, but hasn't been posting. If she still wants to play she's welcome to, but since she's been online but just not posting here for a number of days now with no word I don't want to waste our time waiting for her

So did you want to advance the storyline or did you want us to chill for a bit more? Just curious.

There are still a few aspects need to introduce you guys to, what the living quarters are like and how power training will work. Just kind of waiting for this scene to come to a good point to end it. Then we'll show them the rooms, let them settle with their thoughts for the night, I'm thinking after that we'll follow them for a few days, power practice and more character building/ bonding and then after that we'll skip a couple of months so they're more proficient with their powers, know each other better and then get to the idea of escaping. That is if this sounds alright with everyone?
