Though Jacob had been listening to the boy who's name was apparently 'Nova', his attention was drawn away a few times by a few distractions. The fact that these kids seemed involved in something so mature perplexed him, their appearances reflecting this quite uniquely. The art too was worth putting attention towards, being somewhat ominous but well done once you looked past the shadows. Nearing the end of the tour, Jacob was glad his hand was released and grabbed it with his free hand, watching as the cart was opened. "Uh, I guess I have one question," Jacob murmured, walking up to the cart and stepping inside it. "What exactly is it you guys do? I mean I saw some of the people wearing these jackets out there and as far as I could tell they were dealing with this guy who'd lost it. The one that can move shadows went after the CTU though," he explained, his hand falling on a jacket that was a similar shade of red to his own. Tentatively he eventually took it off the hook, but didn't put it on right away as he'd like his question answered first. He didn't step out of the train cart yet either, looking back at the two kids with an air of caution.

Nova and Natasha Nova shrugged, "Whatever Scorn tells us to, basically. We don't do much since we don,t have any powers, just stay here and keep watch over the place. There are some other Reapers around, so you can talk to them for more info."

Though he disliked the incomplete answer, but didn't feel specifically confident searching the dark tunnels for anyone else that might be around. "I'll ask later," he thought aloud, putting the reaper jacket back so he could pull off his old hoodie. It would still do him nicely as somewhere to rest his head, and with a final look over he dropped it outside the train cart and grabbed the reaper jacket. It was different in style; thinner and a bit longer than his old hoodie but still very much the same with a similar colour and the only real difference being the skull and bones painted onto it. With his somewhat updated look he jumped down out of the cart, looking down at the painted on rib cage before kneeling to scoop up his old jacket. "My uh- my name's Jacob by the way. Thanks for the tour," I told the two of them, the second bit more directed at Nova. "It'd be easy to end them..." something whispered, causing Jacob to flinch and look behind him.

"Intimidation. I'd like to see how you hold up against 300 decibels of sound." Dean muttered, setting aside breakfast. "Let's see your blood wolves form while your organs are displaced." The boy rose, dusting off his vintage bomber jacket. He examined the sigil, twirling it. The fine, crystallized blood shimmered, catching the late morning light. The reaper's sign was designed to represent fear. If you saw a reaper logo, you'd know that you were stepping in some dangerous territory. A reaper was dangerous, conduit or not. They were ruthless and powerful, with their numbers growing each day. They were presided over by by an insane, chaotic conduit. They were possibly one of the strongest conduit organizations active, and possibly proposed the biggest threat to the syndicate. He unceremoniously stuffed the symbol into his jacket pocket. If he had some time later, he'd burn it, maybe. It would be fun to watch it melt, mixing with gasoline. Or he could shatter it, and see if he could blow out the blood conduit's eardrums permanently. He'd watch him stumble around, all deaf. It would be funny! He sighed. Alas, he had elsewhere to go. But luckily, he'd be getting something he'd been looking forward to for the past week. Upon his very first trip to New York City, he quickly recognized that it was in a state of turmoil. He'd eventually get caught in crossfire, may it be police v. conduit or conduit v. syndicate. He could attempt to avoid it, but it was inevitable. He'd need a more reliable way to channel his power, something that he could use. Raw noise and sound wasn't quite as reliable as he hoped. It had power, yes, but it lacked control or precision. It was like trying to perform surgery with a butter knife. Though, there was a certain type of sound that was far easier to manipulate. He could bend and twirl it to his will. If he wished, he could hand pick an enemy and focus solely on it. The type of sound was music. While raw power was loud and strong, music was softer and melodic. It had rhythm and tune, with pulses and ticks. It was hard to explain, but music was, in a sense, easier. So, early on, Dean had started some minor work in the underbelly of New York. The slimy back allies, the abandoned tunnels. He sold and traded, getting his start and earning light money. It took multiple long, dangerous trades, several threats, and death to discover the man he required for his certain job. It was a retired, fugitive engineer, once working under the D.U.P. He had a hand in developing some powerful equipment, but after it's fall, had quickly lost his reputation. He resorted to shady deals and criminal work. So, Dean decided that he was the perfect man for his special job. He commissioned a special job, a refined tool for him, similar to Cole McGrath's very own Amp. It had taken nearly two weeks to complete, but it would be worth it. At least, he hoped. Dean Finnigan stood on the edge of the rooftop, feeling a cool, swift breeze, weaving through his hair. At his lower feet, he felt a powerful pressure begin to build. The air felt electric, and the sound felt dulled around him. In one, powerful, excellent explosion of sound, he was vaulted forward, launching him across several rooftops, finally landing on another concrete rooftop. He glanced behind him. That was a particularly powerful one, with the air rippling behind him. He shrugged, and continued. Yet another powerful sonic boom vaulted him forward, continuously and continuously.

Eli ignored Ash as he was not in the mood for duddly do rights stupidity. It did not however take long to figure out that this was better left alone. This situation could get out of hand very easily and today was not the day for it. With that thought in mind, he flew away to his next destination, meet Keira. Scorn could wait a while longer. It wasn't like she was going g anywhere. Landing he couldn't help but notice a brand new BMW outside of the bar. Could a bad get worse? He four d his answer in the form of a Federal talking to Keira, the badge on the table only showed Eli what jack ass this guy was. Eli took a deep breath and shouted in excitement. "Baby!" Eli smiled as big as he could with out stretched arms. One hand opened in excitement and the other holding his flying stick. With arms wide open Eli ran towards her and kissed her, wrapping his arms around her. As he pulled away from her slowly he simply said "back door." As quietly as he could, he also sent a shock through his metal staff hoping it was close enough to the douche bags head to shock him.

Gavin Ashcroft Gavin would be cursing his luck if he hadn't known how fortunate he'd truly been in the last few years. Released from the hell that had been Curdun Cay, moving to New York City, getting a fairly rewarding job- he even might have an opportunity to go to school in the fall. He definitely didn't have any right to complain about any facet of his situation, to most. There were many that would give quite a bit to be in his situation, in fact. And yet, he was still cursing the fact that a perfect opportunity had come and gone before he'd quite known what was happening. A Rogue Conduit, right in downtown... and he'd missed it. His fingers twitched as he had a sudden and violent urge to Greek Fire something into splinters to let off some frustration. But such a thing would have been counter-intuitive to the image he was trying to construct, so he reined in the impulse. For now. If he was truly being honest, it wasn't even that he was trying to be the hero he'd envisioned while wasting away in the Cay, though that was definitely part of the frustration. It was that he was so Hades-damned bored. It made him sick to consider, but he almost missed some parts of the Cay, at this point. Not the experiments and the needles and shit- he still twitched whenever he passed by the hospital on his way to work. But the training? He almost missed that stimulation- the strategy, the intensity, the seemingly life-or-death scenarios- he was still uncomfortable pondering what, exactly, Augustine had been training them to do, but after seven years of near-constant adrenaline and battle, real life almost seemed... hollow. Gavin shook his head, trying unsuccessfully to dislodge such traitorous thoughts from his head. If he was being completely honest, compared to his fantasies while sitting around in his cell, real life was almost unbearably boring. And even when something did happen, there would be no guarantees that he'd be close enough to do something to aid the situation. With a deep sigh, Gavin crossed the street, possibly headed toward his apartment to try and sleep off his excitement, or, more likely, to his secret place to blow off more steam. And to destroy a few more heavy bags, potentially. Maybe next time he'd be able to do something about whatever Rogue suddenly developed a superiority complex...

Scorn "Indeed but we have at least caught her interest," Scorn replied to Cruor pointing at the number burned onto the roof of the building ",I have made my move and my match with her has begun she will definitely be an interesting opponent, much more interesting then the Syndicate or Vanguard. She's hard to judge, she can go either way. For now though we have her interest and that's all that's important. I gave her what I wanted her to hear let her decide whether or not what I said to her keep her at bay or bring her closer. My web still forms none the less while I let those against us chase their tail's." From her pocket, Scorn pulled a rather beat up looking chess piece that was the queen piece."Oh if you only knew that my favorite game was chess Order. So much alike you and I are. We are two of a kind in more ways then one." She placed the piece on the building's ledge and walked over to Cruor. "Now what about you, have you had some success in a few new recruits? The more the merrier." Kiera Kiera let out a sigh of relief at the sight of Eli calling towards her and walking towards the table."Hello to you to," she said to Eli kissing him back and taking a brief notice at his sign for the back door ",Well Mr. Smith it's time I part and I will say still I know nothing of what you speak of. I have no living relatives." She then made her way back to the exit and made her way out, only hoping Eli wouldn't cause to much of a scene, Zeke even being the most friendly of conduits and accepting of them, he still was also a business owner and didn't like fights breaking out and a conduit fight could lead to a lot of outcomes with the place destroyed. Thinking of Eli made her realize that seeing a federal agent at the bar questioning her might lead to him questioning why Mr. Smith was even there. This made her nervous once again. Of course she wanted to tell him, they shouldn't keep secrets from one another yet she feared his reaction if she told him she was related to the leader of the Reapers and even had been slightly part of them in Curdon Cay for a time.

With his old hoodie under his arm, Jacob had opted to just follow Natasha and Nova back to where he'd found them. Though it was easy to dismiss Jacob had this odd sense of paranoia following him, and couldn't help but feel like the painted skulls were watching. Once they'd reached Natasha's room, the two of them had begun messing around on a somewhat large and well used laptop. The instant consensus between the two was watching a program but what to watch managed to be something they argued about. Unsure what to do, Jacob threw his old hoodie on the ground and took a seat against the tunnel wall, pushing his glasses up to rub his eyes. He was tired, and down here in the tunnels only made him feel more so but he didn't want to fall asleep. The two children had spoken highly of this 'Scorn' and Jacob figured he owed it to whoever it was to at least introduce himself since he was apparently now part of this organization. Though he thought he could hear people talking from somewhere down the tunnels, in reality there was only one other reaper down there with them and he didn't plan on staying for long. "What's your biggest fears?" Jacob asked absentmindedly, hardly aware he'd asked the question out loud.

"Ah!" Dean exclaimed, coming across the meeting site. "Here we go." The workshop of the engineer was an old, rusted sewer room. It reeked of booze and oil, and the sound of hissing steam and clattering steel was a must. The engineer was a jumpy, middle-aged man, behind multiple painful experiments and tests on conduits. The D.U.P's eventual fall drove him to New York, abandoning his old life in favor of shady, underhanded work. Yet another explosion of sound vaulted him forward, landing on a rigid steel traffic light with catlike grace. A more powerful explosion vaulted him again, landing him on the ledge of a concrete building. His form of transportation was an odd, fun mix of conduit abilities and light parkour. He was still attempting to further his experience in parkour, unfortunately, as his first few days consisted of bruised knees and scratched hands. He garnered several questioning looks as a powerful explosion of sound launched him forward, rolling onto an old, weathered sidewalk. He got up, dusting off his jacket. His transportation tended to attract dust, dirt, and trash. In front of him lay a conduit bar, The Amp. His age, unfortunately, usually got him shooed away from the bar each time he attempted to enter. He briefly peered in, catching a glimpse of several figures. He sighed longingly. In a couple of years, he could be a degenerate alcoholic. For now, the bar was unknowingly the host to the engineer's workshop. He slid around back, ducking through an alleyway. It was a dirty, old, asphalt alleyway, laden with plantlife. He slid the massive, grimy dumpster across a splash of graffiti, revealing a dark, carved cubic hole into the sewer room. The boy took one last look around, slowly dragging the dumpster back across as he lowered himself into the abyss. The odor of gasoline and smoke was already beginning to assault his nose, and the temperature grew noticeably more humid. He landed with a soft, dulled thump. The room was hardly illuminated, the only source of light being a small, soft orange glow, emanating from a wired bulb in the roof. The room was covered with intrusive pipes, furnaces, and vents. The roof was a maze of steel girders, the floor beaten concrete. On multiple, dusky oaken tables around him, lay various oiled, bronze machinery and gears. The engineer stood just several feet in front of him, facing away. He appeared to be working on a new project. A long, heated hiss filled the room. The engineer was holding a welder that smelted together steel plates. The boy slowly crept up to the engineer, attempting to get a better view of the machine. It appeared to be a gun of some sort, with a long, onyx barrel. A cobweb of neon green lines snaked the barrel, causing it to give off an eerie green glow. He continued creeping up to him, before, with a grin, shoving him with all of his might. The engineer nearly fell, screaming in surprise. The welder moved erratically. The fine, welded line in the process was ruined, completely off course. "Hey, Phil!" He laughed, doubling over. "You seem a tad jumpy!" "Eat shit!" Phil yelled, flicking off the welder. He swung around, sliding the sniper behind him. "I'm not in the mood for your goddamn games right now, conduit. I'm trying to make something here, you asshole!" "Hey, I've been waiting for weeks now. I'm a little antsy here." Dean said, defensive. "I'm going to need that weapon soon." "It's done, dickhead." Phil said, scowling. He nonchalantly slid the gun into a cabinet, and continued over to a steel container. "I've been frying my ass down here trying to finish it for you. Conduits left and right are coming here, requesting their own weapons and tools. The only reason I finished yours first was because it was so simple. I mean, just a couple of days ago, I had a tar conduit come in requesting a crossbow. That shoots tar slugs." "You know, Phil, hanging out with you tends to remind me how much I hate you." Dean said, rolling his eyes. "I want to use the weapon. Now." The engineer sighed, revealing a metal key. He slid it into the steel box, turning it, and opening it. A cool, damp hiss emanated from the container. "I've got it right here." He said, reaching into the box. "I don't see why you wanted me to make it. It would've been real easy for you to make one yourself with a couple of welding lessons. Unfortunately, you're just too stupid and impatient for that."

Natasha & Nova The fight between Natasha and Nova was about to get physical when Jacob, fortunately, broke through with his question. Nova took time to think about the question, and why Jacob had suddenly brought it up, while Natasha just chuckled as she stood up, her hand on slapping her chest in an act of confidence. "Fear, hah, I fear nothing. In fact, fear is scared of me, and that's why I have none." Nova, still deep in thought, took notice of something crawling up his sister's leg, "Hey fearless, there's a spider on your leg." After Nova's comment, the air was filled with such an ear piercing scream that you would have thought the girl was a sound conduit, as she immediately began shaking her legs to get the thing off. As soon as she was sure it was off she ran out of the room, still screaming until she made it all the way to Cruor's room on the train car and shut herself in. Nova, after his ears had stopped ringing, could only chuckle at his supposedly fearless sister. "You know, I had completely forgotten that she's deathly afraid of any type of bug, spiders most of all. Which is why no one takes any of the available sleeping areas near this one, as their tends to be a lot of those in abandoned tunnels." Nova got up and walked over to sit next to Jacob, taking a few minutes to look at the man. "You know, I can't think of much that really scares me on any meaningful level. When you asked, only one thing came to mind. I do't want to ever watch my sister or Cruor, or anyone I care about die. JUst thinking about it fills me with such anger, such rage. . ." Nova clenched his hands together, before staring at Jacob, his eyes cold, far too cold for one of his age. "So if you do anything at all to endanger any of them, I will end you. I'm watching you, Jacob, never forget that." With that he said being said, he walked out of the room, the blood construct following him out. Cruor "Shall I start calling you Queen Scorn now, Madame?" Cruor chuckled, "As for recruits, only one, the one Natasha was recruiting earlier. Seems we should let her out more often, and I''m glad she helped us find this man. It's clear to see that he's troubled, probably with poor control of his powers, and with nary a place to call his own. I believe he is in desperate need of help, so I say that should be our next destination. You are much better than I am with people, I'm just the gentle care taker. Also, I'm thinking of changing how I use my tendrils, do you think I should go give that old man behind the Amp a shout. Former DUP or not, I think he's definitely an asset we should use. I'd have to take Nova with me, though, as to keep myself from killing the vile swine." "I also met a possible canidate, though he seemed rather agitated at the moment so I didn't press the issue. I gave him a calling card for another meeting, and will send a blood creature to scope the scene nefore I bring him to a secure location. Can't be to careful. So then, Shall we head back to welcome the new recruit?"

Natasha's scream caused Jacob to cringe, the sound shocking him and as it persisted from the corner of his eyes he could see shadows closing in. She was gone quickly though, and Jacob breathed a sigh of relief as his attention was brought to Nova. When the boy finally spoke Jacob couldn't help but be worried at how serious he sounded, already a little shell shocked from the scream. He'd wanted to tell Nova he wouldn't hurt them but knew he couldn't make such promises. It was never something he'd wish upon another though, his own family coming to mind as Nova left the room. His breathing now ragged Jacob held back what tears he could, his mind now on the night he'd lost nearly all he had. His mother, father, and sister slaughtered in their sleep before that thing had tried to take his life too. He'd seen their bodies, the blood on that thing's teeth, and the murder in it's six glowing eyes. "It'll happen again... I promisssssssss," had been all it told him in that moment he'd been paralyzed with fear. He didn't understand it until now, and Jacob's breathing quickened as his sadness became anger. Trying to keep himself in check he clenched his fist, looking down at it as an oily looking substance began to ooze out his palm. It dripped to the floor, wisps fading away just before contacting with the concrete bellow. With an low shout Jacob threw what was in his hand away, launching the ball of ooze at the wall opposite him. His breathing heavy Jacob pushed himself to stand up, watching as a ball of shadow inhaled the air around it and sucked a set of posters off the wall. The result was a lanky and dog like creature, torn up posters mocking a skeleton with an intact reaper skull over it's head like a mask. With a snarl the thing turned to look at Jacob, a long tongue made of shadow rolling out it's slack jaw and running over it's eyes. Sensing the tinge of fear Jacob now felt a set of spines rose up off the thing's back, it giving a hungry snarl as it drew closer. The dog like shadow lunged, Jacob flinching as he felt the paper push into him and he opened his eyes to see the creature trying to maul him with claws and teeth it didn't really have. Finding the feelings he'd used to bring this thing into existence he grabbed hold of the strip of paper it used as a neck and yanked backwards, the shadow drifting apart as the paper skeleton fell to the ground. Still trying to regulate his breathing Jacob looked down at the shredded posters, letting go of the piece he held in his hand before grabbing his old jacket and walking out of Natasha's room. He wanted to find a quiet tunnel, somewhere to think and maybe rest his mind.

--McMahon-- The mans eyes didn't stray to the newcomer, they stayed on Kiera as she told him of her lack of family. A electrical current passed through him with little resistance, but rather than hurt it simply drew his attention. A annoyance raised itself to a nuisance. As the pair then tried to exit, McMahon reclined in his chair the copper card once more in his hand. They would find the door rather fixed into its position, so unless they literally blasted the through they where not leaving that direction. "While I understand I am imposing upon your time, I must insist that you think about my question a little harder." A rather cold smile grew on his face, but it faded with his sigh, "I am here to hopefully save us all a little time." The man holds out his copper card to her once again, but while his gesture makes it appear a request his eyes demanded. "If you do not share the information I know that you can provide, I will be forced to set gears in motion that could be a tad bit more damaging than tarnished morals and bruised egos. You will call me won't you?" --Order-- Order had been holding face for some time, but the nights activity and the rather intense day had more than just taxed her. As soon as she had managed to get enough distance from any wandering eyes, she made her way to her rather quaint base/apartment. Once inside she dropped the facade, she gripped her head not so much from pain but a mental exhaustion that comes from using her abilities for such an extended period. She found herself desperate for a shower, even though nothing really can adhere to her while she shifts into light its still something that she feels is necessary. Order dawned a more traditional attire of sweat pants and a loose tee-shirt, the common regalia of one who is about to spend time sleeping. "The Vanguard are hopefully open for business 24 hours. Scorn strikes me as the type who doesn't sleep much.....Why am I thinking out loud?" She stumbles over a misplaced footstool and finds herself lucky enough to end up face first into the cushions of her sofa. An event that solidifies her decision to sleep, and also to rethink the owning of aforementioned foot stool.

Scorn Scorn smiled at Cruor's remark."Queen sounds nice but madame has a certain ring to it," she replied pulling out a phone and taking a picture of the chess piece and sending it off to Order's phone with the message-"I made my move, now it's your turn. From your friendly neighborhood Reaper of Chaos." She put the phone away and then walked over to Cruor."If you wish go ahead just make sure Zeke doesn't catch you. Shame he kicked me out, only normal person I actually liked," she said. The Amp had once been a place she visited when she first arrived in the Big Apple but after an incident that left another conduit with a broken back she was barred from ever entering again. She had her revenge in her sort of shattered mind way by stealing the bar chair she sat in whenever there which had been the cause of the incident in the first place. "But first I should indeed see this new recruit, hopefully he is at least getting somewhat comfortable and adjusted," she said. --- Kiera She herself was ready to start a fight but kept herself back and only glared at Mr. Smith. She reluctantly took the card."Perhaps I will contact you later Mr. Smith just humor your wild goose chase but threaten my friends and you'll be sorry. Now once again I must ask for you to excuse me. I have a prior engagement with my date and wish to get going." She knew she would more then likely have to call him if she didn't want him coming knocking on her door. She hated the fact she resorted to threats in her last words to him, it made her realize how close she could be to Scorn at times and once again time in the Cay.

It had taken a little while but Jacob had found a tunnel that didn't seem to have anything down it, and threw down his old hoodie to rest his head on. Laying at the side of the tracks, back to the wall, Jacob tried to rest but sadly it would not find him. Each time his eyes began to feel heavy a loud scream would sound from one end of the tunnel or another, and when he'd gotten up to ask for silence he'd found there was nobody down the way he'd walked. Still though the shouts persisted each time he tried to close his eyes, so Jacob now just lay against the tunnel wall, unfocused eyes on the dull metal rails in the middle of the tunnel. Though the ground was uncomfortable to lay down on the comfort of a pillow of sorts was nice, and so Jacob was left to leave his now somewhat distant thoughts to fester.

This was not the day for some dick weed to push his buttons. "What happens if I come after you? Are you ready for that? You'd better close shop fucking being ready for me will take care of your waking hours and you better have someone to hand the task off to when you close your fucking eyes." Eli was only getting more pissed as talk. "Zeke, get this man a drink, I'd hate for it to be said I never stood a man for his last drink." It was shocking to Eli why people didn't understand his hate for authority. This was pompous ass was the prime example.

As Kiera took his card, Miguel smiled politely. "Thank you for your cooperation." He had stood up and started to walk to the door as the little hot head began making rash threats. Rather than acknowledge him he simply walks out door.

Scorn The leader of the Reapers made her way back to her establishment in the many underground tunnels to check in on the new recruit Cruor had told her of. The place was mostly deserted with a few of the other Reapers sitting about, a few bonfires glowing in the dark with some electric lamps keeping things lit enough to allow being able to see so far deep within the tunnels. She spent some time hunting down the new recruit, only finally finding some solid information from Natasha and Nova. Eventually she found him laying in some deserted tunnel away from her established base for her and the other Reapers. "So you must be the new recruit yes?" she asked balencing on the rails of the long since used tunnel, her shoes clinking on the metal as she walked along it ",I guess some introductions are in order I'm the marvelous miss Scorn, the one who runs this group and makes all conduits dreams come true. Though I must wonder why you lie here away from the fun zone." Keira As Mr. Smith left, she glared at his back waiting until he was gone. "He wasn't causing to much trouble was he?" Zeke said coming over to her and Eli ",Busy with customers and didn't notice until well he was out the door nearly." "No Zeke nothing of to much trouble, he just needed to learn to take no for an answer," she answered simply giving Eli a look of stating she would talk more on it with him later when they were away from the bar. "Good then but if he got you done I have some good news, got a bit of a tip off on the Syndicate's moves. I knew eventually doing some wire taps and having some contacts in low places would pull off," he said which did bring her attention on this news. "From the information I got from a 'pal' so to speak, the Syndicate has some plans down the road with the Museum of Natural History. What it is he doesn't know but he was about to get a day which will be next week, seven days from today. Time was another matter, he had to book it before he could get time. Lucky SOB is still alive and didn't caught, took to much risks this job but guess it payed off. Spread it to anyway you think might want help. I gave the tip to the CTU but no telling if they will take it seriously. They still are trying to build themselves up." "Well thanks Zeke for the information but why not tell everyone?" She asked. "Well can't trust all with such information especially with the gang of conduit's popping up like the Reapers and Vanguard. The Reapers well you know why and the Vanguard yeah they are trying to do good but another gang isn't something I think we need." "Well thanks again for the information," she said with a smile and then waited for Eli to decide on what to do next. If he wanted to stay at the bar or get going.

Jacob had been aware of the footsteps as someone came down the tunnel, but had chosen to ignore them in hopes they would go away. Upon seeing it was an actual person though, Jacob forced his eyes further open and pushed himself to sit up. He listened to the supposed Reaper leader, and believed what she said considering how extreme her costume looked. "I uh," Jacob began, trying to think of an answer as he rubbed a tired eye, "I had a headache. I don't know; needed some time to myself." His lack of sleep again catching up with him Jacob felt exhausted as he pushed himself to stand up, his thoughts clouded on top of the slight bit of nervousness he felt. He was screwing up his first impression with the person who could decide to kick him back out on the street if she so desired and it didn't make him feel particularly confident. "I'm sorry. It's nice to meet you, Scorn. Thank you for admitting me into your organization. My name is Jacob," he managed to spill, his thoughts running together as he tried to sound somewhat presentable.

"I really want to go out there and beat the shit outta that douche monger." He spun around facing Zeke. "The sheer fucking gaul of that cocksucker drives me up a wall. Just tell me how that fucker gets a badge. Honestly, I'd rather fight Scorn again." It was no secret of his distaste for authority. His hot headedness was much of a secret either. He tried to listen as Zeke spoke but he was just too angry. When he felt like they were done talking. Eli simply spoke up. "I need to get outta before I lose it on someone. Are we good to go or are you staying here Kiera?"

Keira "You can have your chance next time," she said giving Eli a slight smile ",I think leaving would be for the best in case the fed decides on dropping by." As they left the inner battle of telling Eli what the man was looking for begun. She desperately wanted to but at the same time feared to tell him about it. All the while this was going on internally she tried to keep a calm expression on her face. "Hopefully that little incident didn't ruin any other plans we could have for the rest of the day," she said while she somewhat stalled herself from telling Eli the truth. Scorn "Well Jacob we conduits need to stick together. Any conduit looking for sanctuary is welcomed to the great Reaper gang. The only thing I ask for if you wish to stay is help in little projects here and there once in awhile. I think it's quite reasonable deal. I'm sure though you will be a valuable addition," she said still balancing herself on the rails of the old track ",It might take some time getting use to so many different people but I'm sure you will fit into the party. After all we are more then friends we are all one big happy family. I must return to my things but I figured to give you a cheery welcome from the Reaper Queen herself. Take care Jacob." With that she disappeared into the shadows of the tunnel, jumping her way back to the main point of operations heading off to her own room to work on her next move and plans.
