I'm just sitting here re-reading Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality. I have all my coursework done early, which is almost unheard of for me.

Alright, I think I have a sufficient amount of work to do that doesn't necessarily require me talking the whole time but still keeps them plenty busy.

Same here. Right now all of the "adult" characters have a fairly grim atmosphere to them. Is it odd that the most approachable character is seemingly the Emperor?

Hey! My character is very approachable! I did my best to make an everyday person, with some above average talents and massive aspirations, in a particular effort to offset the grimness of our cast of characters.

Hey! Logen is totally approachable. If you can put with insane fanaticism and you're not a wizard. Or a wizard supporter. He's a likeable guy, I swear! DX (Lol, Jk he's a total ass about Mages. And he's an insane fanatic. Did I mention that part?)
