The house stood tall and silent in the dark, its windowed eyes gazing out at the world; cold and soulless. Its insides were motionless, the dust settled and untouched by the years. The gloom filled the rooms and hallways, unpierced by light nor sound and stifling in its intensity. Bare feet padded down the hallway silently, leaving not a print on the dusty floorboards. Long has it been since the house had been entered, standing waiting for its next victims. The girl had been so lonely. Oh, won’t anyone come? All she wanted to do was play. A sudden noise gave her pause. Subtle but growing louder, she was able to pick up the sound of voices. She approached the window over-looking the path leading down the hill. Eight figures, four boys and four girls of varying ages were heading towards the front floor. Her head tilted to the side, crimson eyes evaluating the group below her. Should any of them look up they would see a small dark figure peering out the glass before the pane stood empty and the silhouette was gone. The door suddenly swung open with an ominous creak, the smell of mold and dust wafting out from the dark abyss. The group’s flashlights would barely pierce the darkness, casting long shadows that flickered and danced out of the corner of one’s eye. The girl from the window descended down the stairs and disappeared when she reached the bottom. The front door slammed shut, the sound echoing loudly through the house. Words appeared onto the wood, asking the very same question that was the demise of the girl’s parents. The girl smiled now, blinking into existence before the group of teens. Her arms, legs and face was splattered in blood long dried, bright red eyes glowing at the group. She tilted her head to the side, holding her hand out to them as she uttered three before vanishing. ”You better hide~”
The game has begun.

[Josive]
"Yeah, I'm still not happy about this trip. I'm only doing it because Leera convinced me to. I'll probably be heading out as soon as I see all the rooms just so I can convince her I was here." Josive talked to everyone as they walked up to the house. He was busy explaining why he was coming, that he missed the figure up in the house. "Anyway, why did everyone else come? Similar reasons I presume? I can't see why anyone would want to come here for any other reason." he then asked everyone else. Not that he cared too much, but that he just didn't want to be talking to himself while they walked up to the house. Once the group reached the door, Josive quickly caught the glimpse of the door swinging open on it's own. He reasoned what it could be... wind... a prank... but he shook it off nonetheless. After entering the house, and the doors slamming behind everyone, he took a little more notice. He instinctively grabbed for the doorknob, wiggling it to try and open the door. No such luck. "Guys, the door's locked." he sighed, turned back around just in time to see the appearance of the scary girl. "You better hide~" she grinned to everyone, before mysteriously disappearing before everyone's eyes. "Oh come on, that can't be real! Really Leera? Do you think I would fall for something like this!? Josive called all throughout the house. He held his hands on his hips as he bellowed. "Seriously! Come out where I can see you, I'm done with this. It's not funny, it's not scary, it's just plain stupid." he continued yelling out to the air. How could he be so stupid to not see the obvious? "Fine! I'll just sit here until you get bored yourself." he threw himself on the ground, not paying attention to everyone else around him. Josive folded his arms, blinking slowly as he shut off his flashlight. Won't be needing that. She can jump out at me all she likes... doesn't matter. I'll show her one for anyhow! he thought to himself.

Wakana's blue eyes shimmered, scanning the creepy mansion that caught her attention. She had a calm expression the whole time, honestly, she didn't think much about it. The difference was how the atmosphere felt. It's as if, your whole body was warning you. Warning you about something, but what exactly?
"Yeah, I'm still not happy about this trip. I'm only doing it because Leera convinced me to. I'll probably be heading out as soon as I see all the rooms just so I can convince her I was here." She glared at Josive who spoke up. She had forgotten it was because someone had invited her. The main reason she agreed was so she can get away from her parents. Both of them, on the couch, drinking coffee and admiring their sons dreams. Oh how much Wakana wanted to scream in her parents face, in her brothers faces who treated her like crap. All of them did. Everyone deep down just hated her. She shouldn't have existed. Why? Why was she born into this disgusting world. With disgusting and hateful parents? Why?
Ah.
They wanted someone to hate on. Someone they can just make fun of just to feel good. Well, they all should just rot. They should just di-
She snapped out of her trance when Josive spoke again. "Anyway, why did everyone else come? Similar reasons I presume? I can't see why anyone would want to come here for any other reason." A sharp sigh escaped Wakana's mouth, she responded to his question. Although half of them weren't even listening. "Yeah. Just wanted to check this place out."
Today she wasn't in the mood to speak much. Even though every day of her life, in front of her friends she's hyper. It was a surprising sight to see her quiet. She couldn't care less. She was tired but it was worth leaving her parents and getting some freedom. "Anyways, I'm kinda hungry, we should eat after thi-"
Wakana's eyes wondered off to one of the windows. Something caught her attention. A dark silhouette. She stared at it for a while, before realizing that it had disappeared. She shook her head, "Just my imagination.." Just before she could finish her sentence, the door had slowly opened. Making a creepy creaking sound. What spooked her the most was how the door sounded so much like an agonized scream. Having seeing this, she was about to bail but her friends kept moving. She watched too many scary movies to know this was a bad idea.
Still, she followed behind. Her calm most relaxed expression soon changed to confused and scared. She hid behind one of them, slowly and quietly entered the house. Suddenly the door behind everyone of them smashed closed. So loud that Wakana fell over. "Eek!" Her small body bounced on the broken down floor. As she was getting up, she looked forward and found a little girl, glowing red eyes. Judging everyone of them.
"Let's play~"
Just like that, the little girl disappeared. Terrified out of her mind, Wakana was shaking. Shaking so much she couldn't even get up. She noticed how Josive wasn't believing all of this and just sat there.
She slowly got up, gulped and clutched her fist. Her flashlight in hand and her house keys in the other. She figured that she could use her keys as a weapon if anything pops up. "I-I'm going ahead." She said, trying to sound all heroic but really she was just scared. She pointed her flashlight forward and continued moving, hoping to find a safe place to hide till sunrise or until this horrible prank was over.

As Disturbed's 'Ten Thousand Fists' played on in his ears, Damian gazed upon the house and studied it carefully. The house looked as abandoned as it was, broken and spooky to the Average Joe. To Damian, it was just a house that badly needed to either be torn down or fixed up. Something was in one of the windows, but as he went to see what it was the... thing was gone. His eyes narrowed, but he said nothing. He looked down at the people who he mostly called his... friends... he couldn't hear a word they said, but their lips moved and he made out Josive's question. "I'm just here because everyone else is..." He said, softly, his first words since he woke up that morning. His parents never spoke to him, except a few 'good morning' grunts when he entered the kitchen, while they focused on work and conversing about the newspaper. He never responded, just sitting down to eat and then leave, without even a goodbye. He pushed that thought from his mind and sighed to himself. He was with his... friends, so he could be more social and open, right? Oddly, the thought scared him more than staying quiet... so he didn't say much after that line. He followed when the house was entered. It smelled as old as he knew it was, but that didn't bother him so much. Before long he felt as the door slammed shut and saw the little girl appear before them. Somehow, he heard her, despite the screaming of his music in his ear, and she wasn't loud or anything, just heard through the music despite it all.
"You better hide~"
And then she was gone, instantly. Damian remained poker faced through the entire thing. "...Really?" He shook his head. "A bloody little girl? How tasteless... Could at least put some effort into it..." His thoughts were a lot more bold than he allowed his voice to be. He moved rather than talked, and as Wanaka voiced that she was moving forward, obviously frightened, he walked past, with slow, deliberate, measured steps that allowed him to study his surroundings, swinging the flashlight back and forth slowly to survey the room and the others around it. His thoughts wandered, and he reflected that the granola bar in his backpack wouldn't hold him over the entire night. That's how long they had to stay there, right? Yeah. He desperately hoped someone else had food, as the thought of being stuck there hungry discouraged him more than the little girl did... for now.

Ellan had only been half-paying attention as she walked with her group of friends on autopilot, distracting herself as her eyes were on the flashlight she was twirling in her hand as the other was stuffed in the pocket of her cargo shorts. She was thinking about a lot of random things, probably unrelated to what was happening currently. ADHD for the win, right? Her attention soon returned as her eyes wandered off to the old house they were walking towards. She held her flashlight by her side as she tilted her head to the point where her cheek would be resting on the side of her headphones that she wore around her neck. Her blue-green eyes looked up at the house in slight curiosity and...suspicion. She noticed the silhouette at the window just as it disappeared; maybe she was seeing things? "Well I had to find something outside the depths of my bedroom to kill time, you know?" Ellan responded to Josive's question. Ah, yes. The only other place where Ellan would be, her bedroom. Only reason why she's outside on this day was because of her nagging mom, saying she spends too much time inside. Psh. Why does it even matter? Ellan never understood the problem. Unhealthy? How? Whatever. Ellan hoped the trip to this...place...would get her mind off of things. Ellan followed to enter the house. When the door suddenly slammed shut Ellan got startled and made a short hop in place as she looked behind her at the door itself. It wasn't that many more seconds later until she turned her head back forward, with the sudden appearance of a little girl.
"You better hide~"
Ellan's eye twitched as her eyes went wide slowly, "Bruh," she fell completely backwards like a statue. Once she hit the floor she got right back up almost immediately. She switches her flashlight on and off every slow second or two, pointing with it at place to place. "Okay...ooookay...we're good...we're good...totally good..." Ellan was already comparing this experience to a video game, being the gamer she is and all. At least she didn't think she was actually in one. Maybe that thought will come to mind the day she reaches insanity, if such a day comes that is. Yep, this was going to get Ellan's mind off of things just fine.

It was supposed to be simple. Get into the house, prove it was just superstition, and get out the next day. I mean, come on, no one really believed the stories. But here Joseph was, possibly about to be killed by the supposed fake ghost that was not supposed to exist. Now, it could have been a prank, but no. Pranks were never this elaborate. And Joseph was pretty sure most of his friends weren’t CGI experts so that pretty much killed the idea, since he saw that little girl disappear in front of his eyes. Yes, it was the real fucking thing. And it was still capable of killing him, ghost or not. He had already tried to pry open one of the windows, as it was how he had gotten in anyway, but Joseph found all the windows were locked. The doors probably were too, and he wasn’t taking any chances of going through the front door with those bloody words all over it. Screamed trap if he had ever seen one. Best bet was to hide, try to buy time until he found a way out. He found himself panicking, turning off his flashlight at every sound and odd shadow. Yeah, Joseph had played all the horror games and horror movies. It was a joke, but it didn’t seem as funny when he seemed to be in the same situation himself. Joseph remembered all the gruesome death scenes those horror games had, and while he was in deep thought, Joseph dropped his flashlight, and it echoed throughout the house. "Shit..." Joseph quickly picked it up and headed to the second floor. If anything, there was probably more hiding spots up top, as most two story houses had the bathrooms and bedrooms on the second floor. Maybe he could lock himself in the bathroom until it all blew over, although seeing as the girl was a ghost of some kind doing that probably just meant he'd trap himself in a confined area with the vengeful ghost. Joseph crept up the stairs, hoping the echo hadn't tipped off the ghost. It probably did, but a man could hope.
