Application: Name: Goichi Goethe Age: 22 Gender: Male Appearance: Goichi Goethe is a strongly built Six and a half foot tall man of mixed Japanese and German descent with blond hair in a disconnected undercut quiff and a short beard. He wears a pair of Ankh earrings, one black and one white and has piercing blue eyes that make him quite popular with the ladies. He wears a tight fitting purple double breasted jacket that evokes the image of an 18th century naval officer and black leather pants with a silver sequinned viper coiling up the right leg. The jacket has only one sequinned Epaulet for reasons highly unknown but his avant garde fashion sense is worth admiring. The buttons of his jacket are shaped like golden ankhs. MY SUTANDOOOO: Machine Messiah Stand ability: Light manipulation/Prismatic stuff. Machine Messiah has the ability to absorb and discharge light through the various prisms on its body. It can use this to both dazzle and damage enemies as well as just look completely fabulous. It can attack from range with prismatic blasts of light that can burn the flesh of opponents though this uses up a lot of energy and is reserved for emergencies or flashy displays. Instead it uses its power mainly to dazzle and confuse its opponents with blinding strobes and flashes. Machine Messiah is a very physically powerful stand but it is a slow and rather short ranged one and needs to blind its opponent first to bring its mighty fists to bear. While it is capable of absorbing a seemingly infinite amount of light, Machine Messiah cannot generate light of its own accord, and in darkness it can burn through its reserves very quickly. In direct sunlight Machine messiah has no issue keeping up intensity but even inside a building or in the shade it can find it hard to last in fights. Stand appearance: Machine Messiah is a robotic humanoid stand that has a similar build to Goichi though it is a bit taller than him when revealed and has a distinctly mechanical or cybernetic aspect to its body. It appears to wear a headpiece in the shape of a triangular prism that covers its face above the mouth. The Prism is very tall and makes the already tall stand seem even taller. Machine Messiah's eyes are like the lenses of a Camera. Its joints are mechanical and are capable of bending to seemingly impossible degrees. Machine Messiah's body is transparent in many areas; its joints, knees, elbows, and its lower jaw are transparent as is the large prism shaped headdress. Seemingly the inside of Machine Messiah is empty as it is possible to see in one side of the stand and out the other at these points. These transparent areas are all in the shape of prisms and constantly radiate light so long as Machine Messiah has reserves of light stored inside of it. The intensity of the light is not indicative of the amount of light that Machine Messiah has stored and normally has more to do with convenience, there is no point to blind people when the stand is doing something trivial for example. The glow of the prisms can be in any color of the EM spectrum and tend to change whenever thematically appropriate. Machine Messiah's Stand Cry is ATA! but otherwise lacks any sort of personality. Weapon: Fists. A true man needs nothing else! Personality: Headstrong would probably be a good word to describe Goichi. He has strong opinions of what is right or wrong and doesn't care whether the law or social norms line up with that. He is a stalwart defender of the weak, but is very quick to jump to conclusions and often picks fights over simple misunderstandings. He has firm rules against hitting women or children unless not doing so would mean harming more women or children. His code of honor does not extend to the way he fights which can only be described as dirty. He will use any advantage he can if he thinks it would mean accomplishing his goals, and in that respect Machine Messiah's abilities perfectly line up with his personality, few things could be considered more Goichi than blinding an opponent to get in a good sucker punch. He may not be the brightest or the nicest fellow, but his heart is probably in the right place. He could stand to not let his fists(or bar stools, or bottles, or table legs, or anything else he can get his hands on) do so much of the talking though. Name: Tanaka Matsushita. Age: 24 Gender: Male. Appearance: Tanaka is a large man, heavyset and broadly built in a manner that suggests his foreign blood. His hair is a light brown, cut short in order to not interfere with his daily life. His daily wear tends towards the formal, with jackets and blazers and button-down shirts. He never wears shorts, because he feels that people knowing about his legs being amputated below the knee might be a bit of a awkward conversations starter. Stand name:Do You Realise Stand ability:Do You Realize is a short-range stand, barely capable of leaving Tanaka's body. It makes up for it's shortcomings by being quick, hardy, and it's ability. By making goggle shapes over Tanaka's eyes, it allows Tanaka to view tiny details, such as reflections in windows, subtle facial tics, and even things not visible to the eye, such as where photos were taken. What he does with that information is up to him. Stand appearance:Do You Realize is a short range stand, barely bigger then Tanaka. It takes the form of a adult man's upper body, if there was such a thing as men made out of tin cans and towels. The arms, elbows, shoulders, and helm are made of some form of metal, molded lnto the shape of some strange knight from the far future. The space between them seems to be made out of some vibrant material, constantly shifting in colour and thickness; blue braided rope one minute, saffron corduroy the next, red silk after that. The result is a vibrant, constantly moving and constantly shifting feast for the eyes. Weapon:Tanaka is comfortable using fists and prosthetics, although he's never learned how to fight properly. Personality:Tanaka's a calm, easygoing individual, happy to let others take the strain. Over things near and dear to him, he fusses and picks at details like a mother goose. He tends to keep himself to himself, acting friendly and even charming around people he likes. Name: Sierra Age: 19 Gender: Female Appearance: Straight black hair, about a couple inches past shoulder length. Fair skin, almost pale. Quite slender, though also quite short (But not short enough to be considered a midget). Wears a black eye-patch with gold styling on her left eye, and removing it would reveal a glass orb in place of her eye. Prefers wearing dark clothes with red trim. Stand name: Doom-Claw (Named after Manowar’s Hand of Doom. Which was also the theme of my MechQuest WolfBlade Lance, so I thought it would be appropriate) Stand ability: Heightened senses. Telescopic sight coming from her bionic eye, which also allows night and infrared vision. Hearing and smell are also enhanced, able to hear and smell very faint sources and get a general idea of where they are coming from (Although in the case of sound, it has to be dead silent already for her to be able to hear). Is highly sensitive to overstimulation; in particular: very loud noises and getting even the slightest bit of sunlight shon in it’s bionic eye while it is in use. She can psychically transmit very basic information back to Sierra. Not enough for Sierra to see what Doom-Claw sees, but enough to give her a general idea of her surroundings, given she is partially blind. Stand appearance: A large scruffy black wolf with a thick tail. A set of large mechanical wings made of gold protrude from it’s back, though it is only partially capable of flight. A mechanism made of solid gold is embedded in the wolf’s eye, that stretches along the side of it’s face. Weapon: Self taught in “traditional” Ninja weaponry. Mainly the Kama. Though, since she’s blind, she wouldn’t be much use in a real fight without her Stand and the psychic link they share (Even then, her Stand does most of the fighting). Her form is quite sloppy though and would easily be beaten by an actual master of this weapon in fair combat, even with her link. Personality: Low self esteem has left Sierra a very quiet person. However, ever since she acquired her Stand, she has slowly regained her confidence since she’s felt safer and is actually capable of being aware of her surroundings. She has a strange obsession with Ninja, which becomes apparent in her fighting style. Bio: Sierra was born missing her left eye, due to a congenital disorder. Since her other eye isn’t too good either, she’s been legally blind since birth, only able to see washed out coloured shadows in bright light. Doom-Claw seems very protective of it’s master. Though it is incapable of speech, it often communicates non-verbally with Sierra, suggesting it is more intelligent than any normal animal. Stats: Destructive power: D (Relies more on speed and agility than raw power. It’s claws and the tips of it’s wings are very sharp though) Speed: B (Very agile and uses it’s wings to aid her manoeuvre in combat) Range: C (Never strays far from Sierra but prefers to keep a reasonable distance between it’s master and an attacker) Durability: D (Even for a wolf, getting hit hurts. Lets just not) Precision: B (Paws are useless for dexterous tasks, but it is very agile) What is courage?: The ability to stand in front of a moving truck and not move until it hits you. Name: Lavalley Rivald Age: 24 Gender: Male Appearance: Stand Name: Roundabout Stand Ability: Out ‘n’ Out Roundabout’s only ability is that of a supreme defense. Upon activation of this ability, Roundabout changes its ghostly blue shade into an ominous purple one before rapidly expanding its form for around a second, becoming an orb of ghastly flames around a meter wide in diameter. When Roundabout enters this form, it is vulnerable without a hint of durability to protect it. Within its body in this state, space is warped and stretched, eventually collapsing into a complete void after around five seconds. Lavalley is then able to jump inside this one meter sphere of absolute darkness, whereupon his form appears to distort and shrink before funneling into the patch of darkness. Lavalley is transported to a separate dimension where he can see from the perspective of the orb in completely circular vision, but is unable to use his other senses. An object that is shot into the orb of warped space will be transported directly to Lavalley, which would make this stand ability rather useless if it simply made Lavalley a helpless target. The true defense of Out ‘n’ Out is its ability to generate a multitude of fields of gravitational energy around itself that acts as localized orbits. The orbits encompass a ten meter diameter around the orb. All of the orbits spiral towards the orb itself but never reach it, instead curving around it outwards. Thus any object that is projected at the orb will be caught in the extremely powerful gravitational force of the orb and redirected in the exact same direction it came from. The closer one gets to the orb, the stronger the gravitational forces become. The more force an object has that is directed at the orb, the closer it travels to the orb by resisting more gravitational force. However, the closer the object gets, the stronger the gravitational force and therefore the faster the object is redirected. The gravitational fields right next to the orb are ludicrously powerful, easily capable of heavily pressuring space much like how The Hand does, making direct confrontation with fists a foolish maneuver. It is worth noting that the orbits are all perfectly interconnected, spiraling in symmetry towards the orb and curving out and out in symmetry also. It is possible to break through the defense by throwing an object in the exact same curving trajectory as the orbits, “riding” the orbits so to speak and abusing the constantly increasing power of the orbits to break through and strike the orb. In this state, Lavalley can direct Roundabout to move. However, Roundabout can only take linear paths and moves incredibly sluggishly. In this manner, Roundabout can enhance its defense even further by picking up objects with its orbits which act like vacuums. Since stationary objects don’t have the force to reach the inner layers of Roundabout’s orbits to be broken down or destroyed, they will instead start orbiting Roundabout. However this also serves as a weakness as the more objects that Roundabout picks up, the less Lavalley can see through Roundabout’s “eyes”. Lavalley can order Rounadbout to increase its gravitational pressure on its orbits to draw in objects enough to throw them at targets, but doing so heavily drains energy. Lavalley is unable to leave Roundabout until the orbits are removed. Weapon: No need for weapons when you have defense. Personality:Lavalley is a stern and austere man, embracing the gravity of life with all its fortunes and misfortunes with undiscriminating acceptance. He takes little stock in levity or banter, instead placing faith in the unchanging and mundane. He faces reality casually, letting events pass by him without disturbing him. Many seek an escape from reality to gain happiness, but to Lavalley, reality itself has plenty of escapes within its boundaries to prosper in. One could say that he lives his life fully in this regard. In consequence, Lavalley sees his world as it is, without any sentimental flair to brighten it or gloomy black to darken it. Such a passive view gives Lavalley a stoic character, but it is with such passivity that Lavalley can act rationally and fruitfully. Analytic and observant, Lavalley seizes opportunities by their throat and clenches with all his might. Of course, opportunities to Lavalley are beggars among emotions but tycoons among pragmatic values. Yet Lavalley is not entirely geared towards such a gray consideration of his world, and possesses a surprisingly empathetic nature that he has not utilized. In addition, he upholds a distinct noble bearing much like the JoJo family, and is able to discern the characters of people much like how Speedwagon was able to. Despite Lavalley's logical and practical nature, he is prone to feeling nervous shock or surprise when events do not go the way he predicts or as logic would ordain. Lavalley also has a habit of narrating important things that go on as they happen. Bio: Lavalley was a close subordinate of Robert E.O.
