We had this idea a few minutes ago... Have you done something you consider to be truly impressive in an RP here? Or seen something done by someone else? Something that you think affected the plot of the RP greatly? This can go for both players and GMs. Not really scaled for NRPs, but we suppose acts in such could also be impressive, though we'd think they would have to be much more far-reaching than regular acts. We'd put up examples, but couldn't find a good phrasing.

I'd say the roleplays that in the past have pasted over a thousand pages of posts and or have been here for a long time are amazing accomplishments that I had nothing to do with and even expected one to fail. Anyone who can make a massively successful roleplay such as the naruto one a year or so ago before guild fall or the digimon one a few years ago deserves big props.

On a personal level I believe that as a noob in the free play section taking the GM reigns over from someone and finishing the roleplay is a personal accomplishment of mine. I also have had the, rather slow, gundam roleplay that has been now running for over a year now.

I once was in a roleplay where one of the players bombed one of the major structures of one of the mightiest nations in the world and made them declare war on the wrong target which just happened to be the actual bad guys in hiding, completely shifting the balance of power in that universe and also the impending war alerted normal people of the existence of magic and the majority of the two sides was decimated allowing said character to waltz in and make friends with the leaders of one side (the attackers whose building she blew up), forcing the leaders of the opposing side (those being framed) to put their evil master-plot into motion which failed and then they got thoroughly annihilated, with everything calming down first after said character had become friends with some of the world's strongest people and become world-famous as a hero that took down the enemies without anyone actually knowing she had made the stronger faction pounce at them by bombing one of their buildings and framing the bad guys.

All the other characters were pretty much just hanging on for the ride at that point. Eh, we had fun regardless.

Though, that wasn't here. Haha.

There was this one time that a dyson sphere was equipped with FTL and attack the solar system.

That was, like, Gurren Lagann level awesome.

I remember reading a series of posts one time a few years back that involved sticky mines attached to a large buster blade, going through a hulk-like troll with super fast regeneration. That was pretty awesome to read.

We have sent an entire army underneath a mountain range to invaders another nation. First time we did that, we didn't ask the gm first. (second time we were the gm, so it wasn't easy to hide... Yes, it was a reboot the second time.)

There was the time Chinese Agents provoked a riot against a pirate-Mercenary group on a French Pacific Island to give them cover to storm the flagship aircraft carrier of this PMC group as to capture a renegade Filipino priest who had titled himself the Pope of the East. Though they had to shoot him dead, but well after chewing the PMC company up with gun skillz. Then they hijacked the aircraft carrier and brought it home.

Then there was the time Spanish special forces went out to kidnap a scientist who was responsible for making this universe's WMD (after the city of Seattle was gassed with it) by literally stealing the train car he was riding in.

Like wise the same Spec Ops group hijacked a Ethiopian destroyer blocking the Suez Canal by doing a night-time air jump onto it.

There's also the Armenians who fought a roughly five-year war against the Ottoman Empire and factored into its ultimate demise. In the twilight days of the Turkish authority in the region a Ethiopian spy basically sexed the Sultan to death (off-screen, in that time-skip we made when we jumped the RP to this forum).

In Africa there's the Ethiopian commanded who goaded out a Congolese Anarchist to engage him prematurely by marching on his tribe, taking prisoner all of its children, and hacked off their left arms. This Anarchist was also a known cross dresser. He was later captured and beheaded, his head presented by the Emperor of Ethiopia to guests of a feast he was holding.

There was also a time when the Ethiopian Emperor's brother, and former brother crashed an airplane because he was either have some good times with his female entourage and it spilled into the cockpit, or there was an alligator and he freaked out.

The same guy would also try to escape Addis Adaba in a Burkha after forces loyal to his brother seized the capital. He was later captured and put under house arrest, but he escaped and later formed a blues-jazz band under a assumed identity. He pissed off a British criminal master mind in Egypt too, fled into Palestine and witnessed the collapse of Ottoman authority there, then moved to Armenia with his crew to perform music there and ended up getting shoehorned into running jobs for a local mob boss there.

A aircraft-carrier turned party-barge was also involved too.
