Well, there is only one thing which is an issue. She killed a man when she was nine years old. This, I must say, is a tad bit incredulous. If she was killing with the katana at nine years old, she would have to be a prodigy. A nine year old, even if trained to fight since birth, wouldn't be able to kill a man. Just the weight of the man's blows should have knocked her down. If she is 112lbs now them she was probably quite a bit lighter back then.

Actually no, she doesn't take the full brunt of his attack, but sets it aside so it's broken. As in, she parried properly. Also, she was quick and light too at the time, so since his attack was broken, his momentum made him keep going with his cutting attack downwards, giving her at least a fraction of a second to counter with a quick slash at the neck.

The fight only lasted a few seconds. It went with him charging with a diagonal cutting attack, her side-stepping and parrying it, then slashing at his neck while he was trying to lift his sword to attack. After that she moved back some steps to escape his sword range. Since his target at first was her father, and since he was dying, he charged at him then, not caring about anything else. So that made his back be open to her, thrusting her sword in it. Not long after, exsanguination. Sorry I didn't include this.

Eh, well that's just my logic. Alright then, I'll change her age to maybe 12?

This might blow your mind a little, but Katana are kind of hard to use. Not to mention, they're heavy, so a girl that age would probably have quite a bit of trouble keeping her balance, not to mention accurately swinging one.

Not to throw myself on the bandwagon, but I actually own a few katanas and have had them since I was around 14 here at my house. At the age of eighteen I still have a tiny bit of trouble swinging them time to time. Not any kind of prodigy or the like, just showing a normal human's physical capabilities regarding the matter. Or something like that. Eep.

Well, not that heavy really. A katana is generally 2.8 pounds with a length of 60-73 centimeters in length. That is to say that a blade which is 2.3 feet long is weighs only 2.8 pounds while the normal longsword, also wielded in two hand style like a katana, can weigh 2.4 to 4 lbs and have a length of 4.2 feet. The difficulty is not really with weight or length but with how it is wielded. A katana is a two handed blade with a curve to it. Thrusting with a katana is nearly impossible but it deflect blows rather easily. But, the katana can also easily be deflected by a skilled warrior.

A major issue I am currently having here is that at nine, she would have been training for 4 to 2 years before killing this man. That is if she began her training around the same time a samurai would begin training. It takes a long time for a samurai to master their blade so doing so in such a small period of time should be impossible. Heck, even a teenage samurai would find it difficult to deflect the force of a blow. As for making the age twelve, that would be fine so long as the man isn't a trained soldier.

I mean, I'm not all that confident in my mad fighting skills, but I feel like I could kick a nine year old girl's butt even if she had a samurai sword. I'm sure an adult man would have even better odds than myself, all things considered.

Well it's not like she was swinging the katana in many different directions swiftly; the parry plus slash was done in one direction, so she swung the katana once. Then she distanced herself away from the man to regain some balance, because yes, it is quite heavy, but not so. Sure, without the katanas, the man would easily beat her up, but in this case he charged with one, which she parried. And she did sidestep/dodge first before parrying, like I said above.

Nevertheless, I've changed it to 12. And yes, the man isn't a trained soldier. Just some vengeful dude blinded by rage.
