Alright so far we have two factions and two actual "adventurers". Now for an actual group I'd picture the number being five. As for factions I guess we can just create NPC factions if that's cool with everyone else.
For Lore purposes I can I make a fraction as well? I will also make a character, but I want to test my creative abilities ^,^ (With that tiny lake off-shore island right.... there!)
Lathos - The island itself is a small place and covered with trees, however there a side where it clears up and there is a main village that anyone can see when they approach the island. The village itself holds no more than around 500 people more or less and is a welcoming but tight-knitted community but the most noticeable thing about the inhabitants is that they are crossed between what seems to be foxes and humans. Those who come to this island are treated kindly and with the most hospitality that the people and come up with, like festivals and rituals. Their abundant amount of resources comes from the forest that they have on the island and from the sea, that the fisherman catch.
Type of Government
Elder - The Village is ruled by an Elder who achieves this position by their accomplishment that they have done, during their life time. All the previous elders had been diverse and varied wide in between from the new Elder. However, each generation always produced one of amazing talent for a certain skill, and had gotten the position. These elders are wise and are sought out for advice from the villagers most of the time, the village itself is self-ruled with common-sense and the laws being generally the same as any other society. However, in times of need and desperation the Elder will be the leader of the villagers, along with two other that will be their assistants.
Culture
Clothing: The Inari people wear long exquisite robes similarly like the kimonos of the Japanese. They obtain their clothing from the forest and bring it to the village, as they trade silk from worms that they capture and make into clothing as well as trade. It is one of their only export that the send out from their island.
Religion: The Fox people do not believe in a single god, however the most notable one is the God of Peace and Joy. The God of Peace and Joy, is the reason why their society is so cheerful, as they are taught to be kind even to people who have wronged them. And it is for the most part, the main deity that the people most openly acknowledge and worship as this god is the basis of the Inari's society. The dances and rituals that they do are all related to the gods that they worship and occasionally it is said that spirits join in and dance along with them as well.
Society: Their society is a welcoming one as it openly accepts foreigners into their arms and will even celebrate with festivals and ritualistic dances. During these celebrations, the village almost seemed to be fuller as if there was more people there but after it ended, this weird feeling always disappeared as if something went home. In this town, they are a very tight-knitted community and do not reveal their secrets so openly, with a smiling face they hide all secrets until those who are visiting are done and gone.
Education: The Inari are educated through the use of stories past down from one generation to another, and in a village of this size they are usually taught by the Elder and their assistants. Along with the folklore the children are taught with the use of books and scrolls that are located in the Elder's home. In these text are on various subjects however, the most that they learn in enough for them to survive in the real world literally, as many of these papers are on geography, history and medicine.
Inari Magic
-The Inaris are powerful users of magic as it runs through their blood and is simply more potent than that of humans. Their magical blood makes them very versatile in the branches of magic but it varies between person, however the most common magic they practice is the Spiritual Branch of Necromancy. The people of Inari had a naturally connection to these spirits and had a very easy time summoning them, through the dances of their culture and festivals. They simply have an natural aptitude for summoning these spirits, as well as their culture positively promoting this phenomenon without actually even noticing.
-Along with their powerful ability to easily call upon spirits, the Inari also were able to grow up to 9 tails. Each one growing every 25 years or even sooner depending on the fox and their potential. These tails were powerful traits of the Inari as it was their physical manifestation of their magical powers, as when each tail grew it strengthen their magical healing prowess. They were the most talented healers that people would come to as the more tails the fox had, the stronger and better they could heal the wounded. Combined with the ritualistic dance of their people, the Inari could also combined Spirit Magic and Healing magic to almost heal mortal wounds that would be almost impossible for a single healer to deal with. The more spirits that the healer could ask to help, the stronger the effect the healing would be however, if they lost control it will be disastrous. Amplification circles were also usable however, required the assistance of two Inaris if they wished to use the spirits to heal the wounds as both most provide equal attention to the circles and spirits at the same time, however the rewards would be tremendous if they pulled it off. However, only one of the Inari Elders was able to preform these two techniques both at the same time and she was considered an master of Spiritual Healing. In general, healing with spirits is more potent and faster than with amplification circles but is dangerous as well as it required that there would be time for such a delicate process. The technique itself required a great deal of concentration however, but they were perhaps the first race to combine two magic to create an effect so potent.
-Perhaps the most interesting feat of the Inari is their natural ability to also use spiritual version of pyromancy or any other elemental magic. Their version of this ability to begin, varies in color and will actually harm other spiritual beings whether evil or benevolent. This makes their magical attacks being able to rid away demons, however their ability to use this ability successfully depends on the amount of tails they have again. However, these flames too can affect regular people but to a lesser degree of damage.
Inari Physical
The Inari being peaceful people are definetly not brutish like the giants, and not even like the humans. In reality their body closer represent the elves who had lithe bodies. The Inari too have a similar body to them with the addition of having two furry ears and tails depending on the fox. Their bodies were lithe from dancing in the village, and that how many of these foxes had managed to change their bodies while at the same time doing something you love. In trade for body mass, the Inari are a lithe race of people that are agile however, lack physical strength and offensive abilities as they are relatively a peaceful village.

I was just wondering when I make my character I can he one of the giants right? Just one of the average 10 ft pnes? Just wondering. I can get my sheet up tonight once I know
No problem, do it when you can. To everyone else if you're having trouble figuring out a first post let me know maybe I can help or we can do a collaboration.
So would you guys like the group to meet up now or wait till later? I'm hoping to get the main storyline started pretty soon if you have ideas on how the group should form I'm open to suggestions.
