I got super high (for the first time in ages) while in a very strange mood. I tried to watch Star Trek (2009) but mostly wrote in my phone's notebook.

I should be a fucking Psychologist.

I think this is how most psychologists start out anyway, so go for it.

My entire way of thinking revolves around me trying to figure out how people act and why they are acting that way. I make a bunch of wild assumptions because I am trying out ideas. I'm supposed to have these wild assumptions so I can eventually find something that proves to be true.

The, "Throw Shit at the Wall and See What Sticks", method. My favorite way to figure anything new out.

Post it somewhere, after which you'll realize how underwhelming it actually is.

Rinse and repeat. Then you'll be a humanity altering philosopher.

Oh, I've got a couple hypotheses about your behavior. You'd like to hear them, wouldn't you? You filthy animal.

Too much?

Yes, yes and yes. I become super reflective when I get high. It may sound stupid, but I feel like I know myself better when I'm high, like I understand myself better. I also become really analytical. One of my favorite things is watching movies and dissecting them and finding the parallels between the movies and everyday life. From something as small as a cultural reference, which leads to a tangent of me thinking why culture evolves the way it does, to little hidden gems the director hides in the movie, like using an entire sequence as a metaphor for a real life problem or opinion.

Of course I forget half of it when I sober up, but usually after a bake session I come out of it with new ideas or outlooks on a perspective.

Double posting here, but only a few nights ago I got high and got into a little debate with Jorick. It started as him stating personality tests designed to analyize and individual are largley pointless because individuals vary from one to the next so greatly that trying to pigeonhole someone's personality with a generalization isn't effective. To which I argued that personality tests reveal the foundation of a persons personality, and that generalization, while not effective at completely diagnosing someone, serve as a good 'starting point'. This led to an entire debate about the corectness of defining people as either intro or extroverts. The entire time Jorick had strong points and I felt I had strong points, It was an awesome conversation and one of the better 'highs' of the week.

I've always suspected that our school's philosophy teacher is perpetually high because of his musings.

He even made a garden slightly off school grounds.

We always suspected there were shrooms somewhere.

No I feel free from caring about dat shit when I'm high. I just feel like I exist and I'm cool w/ shit. And I lose any desire to debate too, naturally.

I go more for self discovery and/or contemplating intimacy with the universe.

And I'm forever stuck in a loop of "I'm a genius"/"I'm an asshole"

You're not alone there.

I think it's a developmental thing.

People don't always have to be high to have strange reasoning. Some people just naturally see a presidential candidate making a series of points in a rally, and respond, "Is he wearing mom-jeans? He's wearing mom-jeans."
