"That seems to be the question of the night. I haven't seen an body. I lost the blood trail. The chemicals in here are too strong. I don't see anything but the pool in front of Mocha. So the person might have been killed here and than taken through the passage way? Zack suggested.

Mocha jolted again at the sound of the roar throughout the room, face only paling further at the terrifying sight behind her when she turned her head. Predator...predator...run... As her instincts began to take over, she couldn't seem to help letting out another cry before scrambling to her feet and trying to get as far away as possible. A...a dragon...an actual dragon... After spending as much time as she had dodging other predator beings like wolves and foxes and whatnot, she couldn't even believe that something that possibly ferocious and seemingly rare was now so close all of a sudden. Any other reason gone from her mind, she fled to the other door at another end of the room and exited as quickly as possible, only able to hope that she could find a way to outrun the predator through the corridors somehow.

Jacks eyes whipped to the rabbit girl, his mouth watering as he licked his lips. He let out a snort of smoke out of his mouth, and took off after the rabbit girl. "COME ON BACK NOW! NO RABBIT HOLES TO HIDE IN HERE!" He growled slamming into the walls as he turned corners, his sense of smell guiding him to his victim. "I am going to tear you to shreds!" He bellowed, hoping to find this girl. He blew fire out of his mouth lightly leaving a black mark on the wall.

Okori was lost in thought when he saw Jack run after Mocha like he was about to eat her. What Okori was thinking about was the crime. It just didn't add up, nothing did. The person who did the killing most likely is an expert at what they do. Okori ran after the dragon boy , not saying a word. Once he caught up, his fists turned into fire, but not regular fire, Holy Flames. The Kitsune's flames were considered Holy Flames. "Just where do you think you are going Dragon Boy?"

Hearing the dragon still chasing behind her, Mocha kept running as fast as she could, not even caring where she was going as long as she could get away. Turning corners and eventually coming across another flight of stairs, she found herself very grateful for the natural speed most rabbits had on foot. Any slower and she was certain that she wouldn't have a prayer of survival.

Dashing up the stairs, she looked around for an unlocked room and slammed the door behind her, relieved to find a lock that could be used. It probably wouldn't do too much good if the dragon burned the door, but at least she had a little time to figure something out.

Jack growled at the boy, glancing at the flames he possessed in his hands. He knew they were not any ordinary flames, he could sense it. Jack stopped in his pursuit of the rabbit girl, and turned toward Okori. Jack spewed flames out of his mouth at Okori, but quelled them before they reached him. "Why don't you go play with your flashlights somewhere else?" He hissed, glaring at Okori with bloodlust. "Unless you want to be on the menu I suggest you get out of my way" He added. He nervously glanced at the flames that Okori had. If he were anything but a dark creature those would not bother him as much. Being a bit nervous made more of his human side start to come back, a little bit. A couple of scales started to fade, as his eyes dimmed.

Okori sighed. "First of All I don't need flashlights to see, I have Night Vision, and second of all-" Okori disappeared and then reappeared in front of the Dragon Boy. He flicked his forehead, which would make him "go to sleep" when really he would just be trapped in an Illusion. He then stepped back. He still didn't put his guard down just in case something went wrong. "Go to sleep"

Zack followed after the others. He wasn't as fast as they were so he was a ways behind. But he wasn't going to allow Mocha to face the dragon on her own. Not that he was any match for a dragon. He wasn't even a predator. But it didn't matter. He liked Mocha. If there was anything that he could do to help then he wanted to do it. Of course he had to catch up before he could be much help.

Jack, already relatively calm fell asleep as the illusion hit him. He yawned and fell back against the wall, his eyes unfocused, and his vision blurry. He mumbled "I will find her" and passed out. His body returned to only having half of his body covered in scales. His eyes dimmed to normal as he lay there, unconscious.

Jade was shocked at the scene she entered upon, the crimson substance staining all that it touched. "So much blood..." She said in wonder, trying to picture the size of a person who could loose so much blood. "Unless it belongs to more than one person?" Jade mumbled to herself only to be shaken from her thoughts by Jack's aggressive behavior. Sighing heavily, Jade paced herself to follow Mocha. She was half tempted to kick the beast while it was down, but she figured Okori could continue to handle the situation as he was. "I'll go comfort Mocha, see if you can find anything else down these halls... Maybe it connects to somewhere else in the house that we've missed." Jade called over her shoulder as she jogged by, leaving the three boys behind to run up the giant flight of stairs.

"Sorry about that Mocha, we found him in the dining room when we went back downstairs. I guess someone thought it would be a good idea to invite him... but don't worry, he's still half-human. We can take him on if he tries that again." Jade called out as she reached the top of the stairs, walking slowly so as not to miss Mocha by mistake. "It's alright now, Okori has him under control for the moment, you can come out now." She did her best to use a soft, calming voice knowing that Mocha would still be able to hear her through the walls.

Having found herself in a bedroom, Mocha had wasted little time in moving whatever she could over to block the door. She didn't bother with the four post bed, knowing her strength was nowhere near enough to even budge it, but there were a few nightstands and chairs that were easily moved. She was even able to get the dresser pretty close with enough effort. She honestly wasn't sure how long it would hold up against an attack from a beast like that, but any time she could buy with it was appreciated.

She had just finished moving the dresser when she heard Jade's voice calling, but only stepped away from the door blockade and continued trying to catch her breath. She shook her head, crouching down at the side of the bed. "N-no. I don't want to be eaten. I..." She continued mumbling to herself for a minute, not really giving any sign of moving from her spot.

Jade sighed, locating the door which Mocha's voice was sounding from. She tried to open in but found the door locked, eliciting another sigh from the girl. "It's alright, I know he freaked you out. I promise I'm the only one up here. Zack and Okori are both down there with him, you remember how scary Okori is right?" She asked, hoping to make Okori sound like he was an equal match for dragon-kin. Placing her palm against the door, Jade stood patiently in waiting. "I'm not so fragile myself... If you stick with me I promise he won't eat you." Or I'll try my best at least. She thought afterwards.

Zack scratched his head. He seemed abit out of place. He wasn't really a preditor nor was he truly prey. He was an odd mix of both. He couldn't take on a dragon that was sure but it didn't seem that they needed him to. He wasn't sure what to do. He seemed to be the odd man out.

Okori sighed hoping that the Dragon Boy would put up a fight. He began walking towards the room that Mocha seeing Jade attempting to calm her down and Okori sighed again. He looked at the door, it was very fragile, so easy to punch it down. He put up a palm as flames began gathering on his palm. The door was melting, and as soon as it finished melting he used his flames again to burn through the barricade. He walked up to Mocha. His eyes were full of hate, she reminded him of his old self. He could never fight back, he was weak. He put his hand on her shoulder. This next part would make him seem like a villain but that's just his way of calming people down. "Stop being so weak! Stop getting scared of superficial things, Stop being helpless, Stop getting scared! You remind me of my old self, weak and helpless! I'll be there if you need help, when your scared or feeling helpless, I'll be your Fury, I'll be your patience, I'll be your Conversation, I'll protect you if something ever happens. Just please, Stop being weak!" This was Okori unloading years worth of pain and helplessness. Seeing this girl reminded Okori of his old self, that's why he wanted to protect her.

Mocha screamed in horror as the barrier came apart, ducking down close to the bed to avoid whatever was coming through. When she looked up to see Okori, she wasn't sure whether to be more or less afraid. Her decision seemed to be made for her, however, when he approached and took hold of her shoulder. "L-let go! Don't!" Tears springing to her eyes at his shouting, she struggled to back up against the bed a little more. "I-I can't! I can't h-help it. I-I...I don't want to...end up like him..."

Curling up into herself, the rabbit-eared girl continued crying. "My brother...Coco...he was so much stronger...but they tore him apart... They said they were his friends...he told me they were safe...but we're just prey for everyone."

Jack sat up straight taking in a big breath of air. He coughed, and staggered, eventually pulling himself up. Jack felt calm, or at least as calm as he could be, and tried to remember what happened. He gasped remembering how his dragon side took over...he was hungry...and...wanted to eat...something..no..not something...someone...that rabbit girl. He wondered if that rabbit girl will understand what he felt. He slowly made his way toward where she barricaded herself. He stood partly in the shadows, looking down. When he saw Okori his anger spiked, the dragon part of him really really disliking the guy. He calmed his "other" self down while watching him scold her for being weak. "Yeah you need to learn to stay in your rabbit hole girl." His dragon self growled. Jack was having extreme difficulties controlling himself around the rabbit girl. Rabbit was so delicious, and when you have a human sized rabbit, that's a gold mine! He could control it somewhat though, enough so he does not go on a murderous rampage. Murder..oh right..that is why they are here. He focused his thoughts on the objective while staring at the ground.

Okori felt sad for Mocha, as he had gone through a similar pain. He looked at her with sorrowful eyes. "In that case, I'll eliminate that which you are scared of, I'll be by your side, I'll eliminate that pain and place happiness in it's place...And there is the main guest." Okori stood in front of Mocha, and moved towards Jack, with Killling Intent emanating from him directed at Jack. He also emitted a Battle Aura of electricity. He got up close to the Dragon kin. "Listen. Don't try to harm her, Or so I swear on my life I will kill you, and feed you to the dogs of the Underworld" He faced towards Mocha once again, and smiled, cleaning her tears of her face and holding her hand. Okori felt something aching inside him. It was his heart. "I'll be here for you.."

Jade glared at Okori as he melted the door down, knowing that the gesture was more likely to frighten the rabbit girl than not. She sighed heavily as the fox spirit gave his speech, not at all interested in the "knight in shining armor" crap. Letting herself into the room, Jade stood off to the side, waiting for the boy to finish his consolation before she could move them on from the ordeal. Just as she thought she might be able to get the group moving again, Jack pushed his way into the room, causing more trouble whether he intended to or not. Clenching her teeth together, Jade marched up to Jack and grabbed a hold of his ear, pulling harshly toward the door like a scolding mother would.

"What was the first thing I told you? Hmmm? They are our friends, not your food." She growled, her eyes seeming to swirl like the ocean waves in a storm. "I ought to let Okori deal with you..." She hissed under her breath, muttering different curse words in the various languages she knew.

Jack yelped being grabbed by his ear. As much as he would kill anyone who did this to him, he felt like a part of her was genuine. And after all she was somewhat a species similar to a dragon. You know gargoyle, dragon, same thing. Jack eyes lit up like fire as he glared at Okori, wanting to tear him to shreds. He met his eyes with Jade and he cooled off, her blue ocean like eyes calming him down. Don't be swayed by the likes of her...we will have our revenge later though.. his dragon self said inside Jack's head, sounding like a whisper in the back of a cave. Jack smirked at Jade, then actually smiled. He then started to chuckle "You know, you are the only one that can scold me like this. I feel as if you have some since of authority over me, someone I would listen to, since you are in line with my species." He said, still letting her drag him along.

The rabbit-eared girl was completely unsure of how to feel at the moment. One predator had just tried to eat her, another was yelling and suddenly promising protection. It was scary. Even more so when the dragon arrived at the broken door she had tried so hard to fortify against him. Clenching her jaw against a new wave of tears, she couldn't help but flinch away and look around frantically for a new place to hide. Could she fit under the bed? It wasn't much, but could she?

By some luck, however, it seemed that Jade was able to subdue the larger predator before either he or Okori could set more of the room on fire. "J-Jade..." Mocha let out whimper, somewhat relieved at the sight. But still... "In l-line? W-why is that? Jade's not...r-right?"
