After having it explained that he was just reading a love note, she sighed and facepalmed. She couldn't believe that he'd been reading a love note with another girl around. Then again, that was Kazuto all over, wasn't it? Still, at least that meant that he wasn't trying to hook up with that Delilah chick. If the way she'd responded to the note was any indication, then she was every bit as evil as her reputation lead Aura to believe. Then again, she'd seemed plenty nice, or at least civil, when she walked by and deeper into the school. Perhaps she'd heard wrong about this girl? "No, you've seen her fighting with gangs before, that is rather obviously not something a nice and reasonable person does! Just because she was somewhat civil in a brief, passing interaction does not mean that all the stuff you've heard is wrong!" With that mental schpiel, she nodded to herself, no doubt slightly freaking out Kazuto at the un-provoked nod.

Wait, he was reading a love note?! Who could it be from?! Someone worse than Delilah?! Then again, as sweet as that note sounded, it was unlikely it came from some ruffian. With that realization, Aura was satisfied that it was probably someone who as alright for Kazuto. Sadly for all involved, however, the intercom then sounded, calling them to the auditorium. She sighed, and noted that Kazuto didn't have any food. Reaching into her own lunch bag she produced an apple and handed it over, saying "Eat this, can't have you fainting from hunger Kazu-kun."

Glancing down at the crisp apple, Kazuto's frown lifted into a slight, unnoticeable smirk, the boy moving forward and grasping the fruit. "Thanks..." He murmred, before taking a step back and taking a large bite out of the apple. Chewing thoughtfully, he swallowed before turning around and closing his eyes. He hadn't eaten since that morning, and although, as always, Rei's cooking was the best...he really needed to call them. Anyways, the apple had a delicious crunch to it, and he could already feel the pangs of hunger ebbing away. Honestly, he couldn't even think about going back to the whole 'weight-control' thing he did for his kendo matches, back when he was a younger male.

Kazuto began walking once more, one hand still holding the apple, while the other rested patiently in his pockets. Some students greeted him, some didn't - keeping their distance or whatever, and Kazuto responded with short nods, while moving through the hall. His reputation in school was a...conflicted one. On one hand, he was popular, mostly due to attitude, skill, and academics. Something freshman generally looked up to. Not to mention that he was a kendo champion, and the 'sensei' of the Club at Fujimi High, which brought them back the trophy the seven consecutive times he's gone to challenges and spars here at the school. However, on the other hand, he could be quite...distant, and no one would forget the time he kicked the one bully, Uta, completely through a class-room's wall for smacking one of his female friends on the butt without her permission, rather roughly. However, at the same time, it also garnered him more popularity for defending her honor...Truly, a conflicting reputation.

As he glanced at the clock in the hallway's corridor, Kazuto sighed underneath his breath. "Aura, we should hurry." He grumbled, picking up speed. If the students took any-longer, the principal would start throwing around words like 'trash', and 'constant punctuation'. The man was eccentric and odd.

[Minor Timeskip. Assuming that most/all characters are in the auditorium at this time - if they had been heading there in your previous post, then they should be here now, through said timeskip. If your character ignored the announcement...heh, I guess you'll miss the main event]

Principal Kurogane Hazekage...a seventy old man that still managed to look like he was in his early fifties or late to mid fourties. Tall, with a slim build, he certainly wasn't intimidating as far as the physique went, somehow maintaining a regal appearance. His hair was abnormally long, coming to his waist, and it was a fiery crimson, only touched by gray streaks. He looked out from glaring crimson eyes, behind black-rimmed glasses. Right now, he was watching as the rapidly filling auditorium was getting very, very loud.

"Students, quieten down." He said lowly.

They didn't.

"Students..." He began to warn, eyes closed.

No dice.

"TRASH, SIT DOWN RIGHT NOW AND SHUT UPPPP!!!" He stood, huffing as his crimson eyes blazed with old-man fury. The room became instantly silent, only to be broken with a 'quiet' yawn from an orange-haired punk near the back.

"KAZUTOOO! SHUT- Ahem..."

Kurogane Hazekage breathed slowly into his fist, eyes turning emotionless as he stared over the crowd. "Students, faculty, staff..." The lecture began.

Harvey Estabraq

"You coming, Boner-san?" The blood rushed to his face, turning his already pink skin into what closely resembled a boiled lobster's pigment.

"Y-yes! Yes. Yep. Uh-huh." Harvey managed to stutter back as the students pushed and hurriedly made their way into the auditorium.

---

Harvey stayed quiet the entire time seated next to crazy4kendo20-- Kaito. The brunette would have had the courage to strike up a conversation if the massive gathering hall was not already filled with an incomprehensible chatter. Harvery eyed the angular principle on the stage, noticing his rising impatience as the students paid no heed to the poor man on the stage. Turning to Kaito, he breathed slowly:

"It's nice to--"

"Students, quieten down."

"...It's nice to finally--"

"Students..."

"IT'SREALLYNICETOFINALLYMEET--"

"TRASH, SIT DOWN RIGHT NOW AND SHUT UPPPP!!!"

Almost as soon as the degradation was thrown, the auditorium grew silent... save for a subtle yawn that came from behind their row.

"KAZUTOOO! SHUT- Ahem..." Harvey chuckled as he turned around in his seat, flashing a thumbs-up to the vibrant orange-haired boy right behind him.

Kaito

"Y-yes! Yes. Yep. Uh-huh."

Walking through the hallway to the auditorium with the Brunette kid strutting behind him, he could only think of the disdainful glares of the girl- Katia was it, and the sour red head- Teiji, who looked like he was about to give Kaito a beatdown, not that Kaito would let him but he'd rather be at peace with them.
"Scary, Scary." he thought to himself, "Guess I won't screw around with 'em, heh."
Still noticing that he was in his Kendo garb, he simply shrugged, adjusting his glasses properly and entering the Auditorium.

Kaito couldn't help but chuckle at the attempts that Harvey tried to communicate, when the whole auditorium finally quieted down at the behest of the young looking but old principal, Kaito had already gotten used to the name 'Trash' given ever so lovingly by Principal-san to his students.
Then his Kendo-senpai, Kazuto yawned which further infuriated the Principal. Kaito would've stifled a laugh had the atmosphere called for it, he did his best not to.

"Students, faculty, staff..." the Principal continued, Kaito beginning to drift off in his chair with his elbow rested on his thighs...

Reaching the auditorium was easy enough, trying to stay awake was another matter. This old ass principal was one of those types that lectured anyone if they did anything wrong in their eyes. Hence him calling everyone trash and for them to shut up. Of course someone called Kazuto made a scene. Well somewhat of one. The boy yawned and got yelled at, yet got the approval of several others. For some reason this made him mad as he frowned and glared at the floor. "I fucking fall asleep and everyone avoids me. He does it and hes a fan favorite." Teiji said speaking lowly as he looked over at Kazuto. "I really envy that." He mumbled again, then he remembered something about and orange haired male being the captain of the kendo team. Then he remembered that kid saying a username at that Kaito guy something about kendo. Teiji looked at Kaito and grinned, not out of friendship but because he remembered that he still had to pay him a beating. Looking at the principal still taking his sweet time, Teiji groaned as she slammed his hands down on the seat in front of him. "Oh come on already! How long are you going to make this last! Play nice, follow school rules, other stupid information!! God you'd think you would want to spend your time doing something decent before turning to dust old man!!" Teiji shouted standing slightly. This made quite a few scream a bit and even shout his nickname, while the one in front of him jumped out of his seat and into the row in front of him. He looked around before sitting down sighing. "I've got detention big time don't I" Teiji asked already knowing that it was a yes.

Miki put her left hand over her mouth restraining a giggle at the ludicrous antics of the assembly. Once more she wasn't surprised by how silly those thought of as cool seemed in the glaring light of society.

Why even show up to school after sixteen if you didn't want to succeed just become a slacker, it wasn't like senior high was compulsory. Miki attended school to enable herself to go to collage in England at Cambridge where she hoped to get a degree in the Sciences.

Sighing she decided to tune out the show by imagining her sailboat and the trip to Tahiti in the French Polynesian islands. She still thought the Aoi tenshi (Blue Angel) was an extravagant gift but couldn't help but love the freedom she represented. With the Aoi tenshi she could sail around the world solo if she wanted because of how automated and computerized she was. Her first solo sail was going to be to Hawaii then Rapa Nui (Easter Island) which she knew would be lonely but give her the time she needed to write.

Katia

The trip to the auditorium was short, but part way Katia parted ways with Taiji when she spotted Mio in the crowd. Saying bye to Taiji and saying she’d find him after the assembly so not to wonder too far. Slipping into another part of the crowd Katia was determined to get to Mio as she didn’t want to lose her little game and this was a chance to win. Unfortunately when Katia got to where Mio was she gone, making the girl cruse several times in English. This lead to the girl not paying attention to the girl sneaking up behind her who had an evil grin plastered in her face and looked like she was about to pounce on Katia. It happened in a moment the girl who had been sneaking up on Katia jumped her and placed her hand firmly on Katia boobs squeezing them.
“Guess who!!!!” the girls stated loudly earning a few looks for students passing by, some of which seemed confused by the sight.
“Those are my boobs not my eyes. Mio didn’t you mother teach you how to play this game?”Katia stated glad the embarrassment she was feeling was locked up inside of her unable to be expressed. Sighing Mio let go of Katia and gave her a nudge to keep walking into the auditorium. The pair of girls walked into the auditorium then parted ways being in different homeroom classes they couldn’t sit together. In fact Katia knew no one in her homeroom class not that it matter given it was only things like this she was alone.

Taking her seat Katia listened to the principle call them Trash and told them to shut up. She then watched as some orange hair boy got yelled at which made her laugh internally finding it quite amusing. It was the next sight the made Katia’s heart sink as she saw Taiji start yelling at principle. Even if she did agree with what he said Katia knew it meant she’d most likely have to eat lunch on her own IF they got out soon enough which seemed unlikely now.
“Dam it Taiji… it rude to make a girl go hungry.” she thought as looked back at the principle to see his reaction. Once the principle was back on track Katia slumped in her seat and settled in for what she assumed would be a long and dull lecture.

As she sat there, watching the other students get seated and settled, she giggled at his angry shouts. Shout after shout, trying to get the students on target. After he'd finally settled and brought about some order, Kazuto then yawned, something that would've gone quiet and un-noticed in the chaos from a moment earlier, but now louder. The Principle called him out on it, specifically, and then returned to whatever it was he wanted to say to the entire population of Fujimi Academy. Aura paid attention at first, to her credit, but quickly grew bored of it. That was really saying something, considering that it took a great deal to convince Aura that anything school related was utterly pointless or stupid. So she turned her head to talk to Kazuto and said, with a faint grin, "Not bad Kazu-kun, you seem to have already managed to anger the principal." Of course, then the Soulless man went and did his schpiel, making Aura again chuckled as she mumbled again to Kazuto "He's insane!"

Alex, unlike the others, took a different path. Instead of following the rest of the students in the auditorium, the boy headed towards the autoshop. Along the way, he passed by a classmate of his.

"Sasha, got any vodka?"

"No can do, I'll give your surplus supply of Corona a shake."

A small banter, before the two parted, although not without his classmate convincing him to keep his cell on, and listen through the other's phone the most definitely boring lecture being given by the principal.

Finally arriving at the autoshop, Alex set his phone down on the table, before leaning against the wall nearby. He was really only half listening, the other half was planning out another design to add to his collection.

"Perhaps a gravity-fed clip? Trapdoor release? Hm....."

Beatrix walked along behind Delilah somewhat obediently. She was kinda taken aback by how nice she was being. it wasn't like others weren't nice, they just didn't seem to acknowledge her. Not only did she just run into this girl, but she was letting Trix tag along. Which was fun, she had never really found people to hang out with normally, she would hang in trees and listen to her music. She felt herself getting a little overly excited and as Delilah looked back she held back her big grin and continued on. They got to the auditorium, Trix sitting beside Delilah and was about to try and make conversation when she heard the odd looking man up front shout. She didn't speak as the room went silent besides a yawn and he shouted again. Trix always wondered what planet Mr Hazekage came from, and what their fish looked like. She trailed off, not really listening to the assembly now.

Upon arriving to the auditorium, Delilah plopped down into a chair beside Beatrix and immediately began dozing off. She leaned back with her arms propped up against the back of her chair, her head drooped forward and drool could visibly be seen escaping from the corners of her mouth.

Obviously she didn't come for the speech, she just came for the sleep. The young girl flinched as Mr.Hazekage yelled. Her gaze rested on the old bat, a noticeable frown forming on her face. "Well fuck..." She grumbled, wiping drool off the side of her mouth. Delilah leaned forward and rested her elbows on her knees as she grumbled not-so-safe-for-work curse words to herself. She turned her head to check on Beatrix, who didn't seem to be paying attention, which was alright with her. "Hey, little lady, Hazekage's having a little stick trouble, amiright?" Wait no, that came out wrong. "Uh, I mean! He's a cunt."

Angelo sighed as he watched the old man start to talk and get everyone's attention which only happened after he yelled at the top of his lungs and insulted just about everyone for not being quiet. Angelo didn't like that in people, he didn't like how if something doesn't go their way they will just snap instead of trying to think of a way of compromise and Angelo couldn't help but laugh a little when he yelled at kazuto just because he yawned. At least he was saying what everyone was thinking, if Angelo could he would just take another nap before going to class and see about adding more things to his game before going to his advanced classes. Right now Angelo was wondering what his lecture was going to be about

Kazuto shrugged, left eye twitching slightly as he sat back in the uncomfortable metal folding chair. The yawn had come out unexpectedly loud, despite him trying to make it quiet and subtle - since one couldn't hold back a yawn, no matter how hard they tried. He noticeably didn't like the principal - everyone knew that. The man treated everyone like trash, and didn't even try to hide the fact. The only reason the government didn't fire him, was because of the pure amount of wealth the man possessed, being the Head of the Hazekage clan. The man could easily bribe whomever he wanted to do whatever he wanted, considering the funds under his control. Often, the man would try to get under Kazuto's skin, blatantly punishing him or anyone around him just to flaunt his power as principal. As he thought about this, Kazuto's hands tensed on the chair's arm-rests.

"He sure is insane..." The boy grumbled, sharp brown eyes narrowing as the man continued his speech.

______

He was on a roll now, so Teiji's words were ignored, with only a minor disgusted glance from the Principal's emotionless red eyes.

"Detention, And that is why I am initiating a strict 'No Violence' policy. I do not enjoy having to write paperwork to the parents of the...students whom get punished for their own idiotic actions." Principal Kurogane's eyes roamed over a gang of thugs near the middle, drifting over Teiji's face, before zeroing in on Kazuto, whom stared back with an intense expression. Tearing his eyes away from the three groups of troublemakers, Principal Kurogane took a step back from the podium, eyes closed and hands clasped behind his back. "Now, will you all-"

"R-RUN! HAZEKAGE-SAMAAA-" A man, Assistant Principal Akuma Ookami, was usually a blank-faced, stoic man. He possessed white hair, slate gray eyes, and an emotionless expression - it was also evident that, despite Kurogane's beautiful wife, Akuma was homosexually attracted to the significantly older man. So, it was with surprise, fear, and over-whelming terror, did the students watch as Akuma fell onto the stage, bleeding from numerous wounds along his torso and body, his skin rapidly decaying as the blood began to turn a sickly gray-ish, syrupy color.

Principle Kurogane, fortunately, was a worthy leader. He turned around instantly, eyes sharp as he began screaming out orders. "Children, stay calm! Leave the premises at a steady-ACK!" Akuma's decomposed form fell ontop of Kurogane's, rotten, perfectly flat teeth embedded deep into the man's neck.

Silence reigned.

"I-is this a joke?!" One random first-year screamed out, her voice frightened and hesitant. However, once both Akuma and Kurogane stood, Kurogane semi-bald, drooling, and with rotten, decaying gray skin...everyone knew that it wasn't a joke. Someone from the crowd screeched...and it was like a dam broke. Screaming, roars and cries of terror, people running every-which way. Apparently, another 'undead' managed to come out of the hallway, and into the crowd of panicking students. Within seconds, the 'infection' had spread like wild-fire. The school...it was a slaughter-house.

________________________________

Kurogane's eyes were glassy, as he stayed sitting down, even as some guy fell over the teenager's legs and face-planted. The boy's eyes were sobbing, and snot ran down his face. A bloody bite-mark was on his shoulder, his face rapidly graying. "P-please...KILL ME!!!" His scream tore through the gymnasium. Panic was everywhere...everyone was being bitten. Robotically, Kurogane looked down at the graying teenager. He recognized him...Hiei Jinase, from Class 1-A...a Junior. His mother often spent time with Kurogane's own mom, and although they had never been friends...

Kurogane's foot slammed into the boy's face, brain-matter splattering all around the now bloodied floor.

Even though they had never been friends...Kurogane still thought of him as human.

His stomp had apparently broken him from his reverie, as Kurogane stood, eyes empty as he stared down at Aura. Blood had splattered onto his white-shirt, black blazer, and some on his neck, but Kurogane couldn't feel it. "We need to go." He said, voice monotone and dead as he instinctively grabbed the girl's hand. Groaning now filled the auditorium, and he couldn't...he couldn't trust anyone. Undead were shambling everywhere, the screams of the dying filled the air, and Kurogane moved.

Pulling Aura along, he shoved and brushed passed everyone and everything, kicking open the doors and blazing a path down the hall-way. Dully, at the back of his mind, he realized that his speed may have been too fast for Aura to keep up with, and he robotically slowed down until they were near a maintenance room, the vibrant red 'fire-proof' doors standing out in the now empty corridor.

"In here." Kurogane breathed, shouldering open the unlocked door and nearly stumbling in. It was a large room, with steel-walls, and a wooden counter running along each wall. Different tools and materials were placed on the walls, tables, and in paint-buckets, and a fire-axe was placed, in a glass-case, at the far wall.

It was a glass-case...until Kurogane's fist broke through, grasping the wooden-grip of the fire-axe. "..." His bloodied knuckles were ignored, in favor of the boy shambling over to the door, locking it, and then collapsing onto his butt, back against the red door, staring down at the blade of the axe. When had he even gotten it? Oh yeah...a few seconds ago.

Had he just...killed a man?

The thought registered in his mind, and his eyes began to clear. He had. He had killed a man. But...that didn't matter for now. He had to wake himself up...he had to focus. Aura...she was here, wasn't she?

He pinched his skin, flinching slightly from the sharp pain. He was okay. He was alive.

Alex jolted awake, as the screams were heard through the phone. The lecture was utterly boring, and droning on, so at first the boy believed it to be some random student causing trouble. At least, until his classmate on the phone was yelling through it.

"Sasha! It's like the movies! Their everywhere, biting everyone! Don't get bit!"

Staring at his phone in shock, Alex could only respond, "What do you mean, 'Their everywhere'? Who are 'they'?", trying to make sense of the panic ensuing outside.

"Them! Like monsters straight out of the stories! I'm running over to the autoshop as I speak!"

Before the call was disconnected, Alex heard what sound like screams of pains, along with the deeper undertone of a guttural growl. The only thing the Russian could do at this moment was, well, lock down the autoshop. Quickly spinning the lock on the door, he crossed over to the other side, before shutting the garage door. With the only sources of sight outside the shop being the small windows at the top of the garage door and the window on the door leading into the halls, Alex let out his breath that he was unconsciously holding. With nothing else to do, he picked up his phone again, before calling the first number he could think off.

"Aura, are you alright?"

Kaito

Drifting in and out of light sleep, he heard something about a 'no-violence' policy. He was truly awoken by the piercing screams coming all around them, being awoken by this he looked down and quickly became wide eyed, he couldn't believe his eyes. Fixing his glasses that were about to fall off, he noticed students screaming and flailing, trying hard to get out of the auditorium. Initially he was confused at the whole ordeal, wondering what in the world was going now, then suddenly a student swiped at him, barely scratching his garb, he quickly reacted by barely dodging at a hairs breadth and quickly pulling out the practice Bokken he was carrying around, fortunately he had two for when he wanted to spar with Kazuto.

Doing the familiar downward slash that he practiced this morning to the Decaying and putrid student, it hit with a deadly sound that echoed but couldn't be heard behind all the wailing and screams from the students, who were basically trampling over one another to get out of the auditorium.

"What in the fuck is going on? he said to himself, out of the corner of his eye, he could see Kazuto dragging Aura out of the auditorium in a rushed fit. Deciding that the best chance to survive this crazy scene right out of a manga would be to go with capable people, and Kazuto was one of them.
"Strength in Numbers." he thought to himself,
Making his decision, he looked back at Harvey, who stood there, in a state of awe and shock.

"BONER-SAN, SNAP OUT OF IT, WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE. he practically screamed at Harvey, who still just stood there. "Tsk", grabbing his bag with the other Bokken, he started dragging Harvey who was still 'in situ.'

He dashed through the screaming and wailing crowd, he saw a student getting mauled to his left and to his right a student who's begging to be killed, but he couldn't help either, dreading that he couldn't, he had no time. Bashing the door that he thought Kazuto went through, he tried to look around in an attempt to find him. He looked around and couldn't find him, until he heard glass shattering to his left, running there, the door was locked.

"KAZUTO, IT'S ME, KAITO, OPEN UP, WE HAVEN'T BEEN BITTEN YET." shouted Kaito has he repeatedly banged the door.
"IF WE WANNA LIVE THROUGH THIS ORDEAL, WE HAVE TO STICK TOGETHER."
His screaming had attracted two decaying, grey skinned students who started to limply walk in their direction.
"Shit." muttered Kaito, looking back at Harvey who was still in a shocked state, he clicked his tongue and strengthened the grip on his Bokken, ready to take on the two

"Wait, what?" This was Aura's first reaction to the sudden outbreak of, what seemed to be, a zombie apocalypse. She couldn't wrap her mind around what was happening at first, but something clicked in her mind, people were dying. Her uncle had mentioned that, when combat hit, it was important to keep calm. So, Aura being a good little student, did exactly that tried to keep her calm. She didn't though...she was silently crying, even as she watched Kazuto's foot slam down on a student...but he'd been crying out for it, hadn't he? It...was the best choice, that much was clear, and Aura didn't like how easily she'd come to that conclusion. Frankly, it was terrifying how easily she accepted what was happening, but there was nothing to do for that right about now. It was around that time that she noticed Kazuto's eyes...they were empty, and for a moment she felt a tinge of fear. Would he kill her too, just like that junior? She couldn't fight Kazuto up close, she never could, but then, blessedly, he said they needed to go, wrapped his strong hand around her arm, and began to pull her along.

Thankfully for Aura, physical fitness was a big part of her upbringing, not that she mentioned it to anyone. She'd actually once been a runner, though nobody ran Cross Country in Japan. She, however, was barely keeping pace with Kazuto, and couldn't hold on to this pace forever. Thankfully, he seemed to note this, and slowed down, allowing her to keep up sustainably, though still not comfortably. He pulled her into a maintenance room and rammed his fist through the glass of an emergency case. The fire axe he drew out was dangerous, a quality weapon for facing the undead, but it seemed what he'd done was catching up to him. He half-walked half-stumbled to the door, shut and locked it, and collapsed onto his butt. He pinched himself for a moment, confirmation of his existence and his life, and Aura debated what to do. "Alright Aura, morale is important right now. Not only is Kazuto your friend, he's presently your best shot to survival. Keep him calm, cool and deadly....wait why do I care about him being deadly? What's happening to me? I'm not usually such a pragmatist."

She shook the thought from her head and gingerly sat before him, looking him in the eye, and saying from the bottom of her heart "Thank you so much Kazu-kun, you saved my life in there." She leaned forward and wrapped her arms around his neck in a hug, purposefully leaning into it such that her chest pressed against his. He needed the reassurance for now, so pride be damned she would have to give it. She whispered in his ear then "You know, Kazu-kun, my uncle was an American soldier. He told me about combat, about what it's like to have to kill. He told me that protecting your own, protecting your comrades, is the most important thing ever. You protected me Kazu-kun, and I'll always be grateful for that. I want you to know you didn't do anything wrong, you did what you had to. If you hadn't killed that poor boy, he'd have turned into one of them, and maybe killed some of his friends, you did the absolute best you could. Thank you, thank you so, so much."

And then her phone rang, and she mumbled a cuss as she checked to see who it was, promising revenge on whatever telemarketer was calling in the middle of hell. Thankfully for every man in telephone advertising that ever existed, it was Alex, and she sighed in relief. That meant he was still alive, and Alex was plenty good at fighting. She answered, and was flattered to hear the first thing he asked was if she was alright. "I'm fine Alex, and it sounds like you are too. Kazuto and I are in the maintenance room, first floor, right side of the school building. If you can, try to get to us Alex, I don't want to leave you behind. I've gotta go, saving phone battery." Her speech done, she put hung up and put away her phone...just to hear banging on the door. She sighed and gently shifted Kazuto away from the door at the sounds of screaming.

The damn fool had probably attracted some of those undead with that, since noise was the classic zombie apocalypse faux pas. She opened the door, and standing before her was a man with a bokken, standing with another student who still seemed to be in shell shock. Sure enough, a pair of undead students were shambling towards them. With a muted sigh, she grabbed the two and yanked, pulling them inside. The undead, thankfully, didn't seem too fast, and she slammed the door shut, locking it again. With a sigh and a deep breath from all the physical exertion, she slid to the ground beside Kazuto. She looked up at the two and, since all she go from them was a vague tickle of familiarity, introduced herself "H-hi....I'm Aura Lockheart, glad to see more people. How are you two?"

Kazuto dully felt the feeling of a body hugging his, and his amber eyes cleared a bit when he realized that a female - Aura, he dully recognized - was hugging him from the front. The feeling of certain...assets pressing against his chest certainly helped him keep his mind aware, and just as he was about to ask her what she was doing, the girl began to talk. The feeling of a girl hugging him so close, and whispering close to his ear, wasn't something he had ever experienced in his lifetime - but Kazuto made sure to keep his mind and body focused on her words, his knuckles popping as he gripped the wooden handle of his axe tighter within his fist.

Her words...were true. He was a boy...a boy that had killed someone that often came to his home...but he had done the boy a mercy, hadn't he? The boy had been begging for it. He had protected the boy's sanity...and he had protected Aura. Aura's uncle was right...he had to protect those closest to him, no matter the cost. He would fight through an entire army of these things...if it meant protecting the people around him. "Thank you...Aura."

His dull brown eyes had just turned into their normal brown color when Aura received a phone call. With a silent, tension-relieving sigh, Kazuto stood on steady legs, eyes turning determined as he stared down at his bloodied knuckles. Glass was still embedded into the flesh, and the pain was a reminder...a reminder that he was still alive, and that he would continue to protect everyone, until his dying breath. Listening to Aura with one ear, Kazuto walked over to a nearby workbench, resting the axe on the hard surface. "Bandages...bandages..." He muttered, glancing around. Sure enough, there was a few first-aid kits on the wall. Grabbing one, he opened it up, quickly grabbing a few alcohol wipes, and a roll of white bandages.

Taking the shards out wasn't painful, nor was wiping the dozens of small cuts down with the alcohol-covered napkins. Wrapping his right hand with the bandages, Kazuto paused, before wrapping the other hand with bandages. It would help to avoid any other splinters or glass-shards. He worked quickly and efficiently, already familiar with the process due to doing the same thing countless times before and after Kendo matches.

He had just finished when the knockings came. "Wh-" Kazuto cut himself off from his annoyed growl, swiftly turning around with the fire-axe clutched in his hands. He didn't know if the undead could knock, but- Ah, it was Kaito, judging by the voice. Kazuto watched from the work-bench as Aura opened and closed the door, after pulling the two in.

"Nice to see you're alive." Kazuto smirked at Kaito, sitting his fire-axe back down on the bench. Going back to what he was doing, as Aura introduced herself, Kazuto took off his blazer-jacket, leaving him in a short-sleeved white t-shirt. Grabbing the roll of bandages, he began wrapping them up his wrists and biceps. It was a nice action, so that he could both protect himself from infection, minor injuries, while also gathering his thoughts together. Aura certainly helped earlier, but his mind was still a bit...fragmented. He needed to get it together, and fast.

He.... was ignored... This really just pissed off Teiji even more. This man was more annoyed by Kazuto yawning than Teiji saying some pretty horrible things?!? Oh this principal can just go fucking die. Teiji crossed his arm as he grit his teeth, when like a sudden right hook the assistant came crawling out.... dead. And then the principal tried to calm everyone only to die.....Okay he was fucking joking about dying. So of course more dead student came in and just like that mad chaos happened. Of course these assholes still avoided him as well, which made him groan in annoyance as he ran over to Katia and who he could assume was her friend from the picture he saw earlier. "So Katia and... Miki? Looks like lunch will have to happen later. For now however!" Teiji stated picking both of them up and over his shoulders. "Now we play ditch class, because hell." Teiji said easily carrying both of their light frames and took off in a sprint. And what he assumed was a dead student only for reason such as gray skin, limping.... Part of his neck missing, and since they were coming right at him Teiji scoffed and kicked out the dead students legs and then stomped on its skull with his right foot. Its blood sprayed across the floor and doing this for once actually made him feel like a monster. Yet he shook his head and charged right out of the auditorium and down the hallway. Since he was in soccer he had no trouble out running most people. He eventually came to a mostly empty hallway, still ringing with screams though. They were outside the teachers lounge, which Teiji placed the two girls down and opened the door right up without caring. "Hey some people had to have brought knives to school right? So teachers had to have confiscated that shit right?" Teiji asked looking at them before walking over to a metal cabinet. "If not I could always swing this at those dead freaks."

Miki watchful as always saw events unfolding before her eyes that were shocking but did not freeze into inaction because of them.
Assistant Principal Ookami staggered in an screamed "R-RUN! HAZEKAGE-SAMAAA-". Then shortly after had attacked the old man he loved.

Miki didn't need much prodding to go into motion but the direction she ran would make little sense to any of her fellow students, she leapt for a set of stairs that lead to the auditoriums lighting balcony. She took the stairs two at a time as she enacted a plan that she'd originally planned to use in case of fire and panic.

Being a bit of a Geek Miki had spent time up among the lighting when her Otaku group had put on a live action of an anime. One of the things she'd noticed was a window that overlooked the top of the walk awning.

She shoved the window open then pulled her hair's protective bag and scarf out of her purse and quickly stuffed her hair inside before tying it off under her chin, wouldn't do to have her long hair get caught an trap her. Soon as her hair was ready she snaked through the window an dropped upside down to the awning four feet below.

Bruising her bottom an palms when she landed Miki rolled to her feet and looked around herself as her agile mind formulated a plan of survival. She needed two things first, weapons then protection. "The Green houses and Garden" she thought. Soon she was running at a steady pace atop the noisy metal awning till she came to a spot that she couldn't jump across which forced her to back up and jump to a nearby tree.

"Well at least I got this far" she said to herself then took off running as fast as she could towards the Green houses an Garden shed.

As Miki ran she encounted three students that by the look of them had joined the ranks of horrors all around her. So changing course slightly she drew them into a chase that curved back then came close to the thick shrubs of the science building. Between shrubs and building was a narrow path which Miki used as her escape route.

Once she broke out into the open an could see the sheds Miki put on all possible speed in the race for her life. She slammed into the main shed's twin metal doors then jerked out her key card and ran it through the slot. The click made by the deadbolt as it opened was the most beautiful she'd ever heard. She pushed open the doors and headed inside.

Miki was alone but she was safe an now she was surrounded by the tools of a farmer which made her smile. Ditch hooks, brush machetes, axes in various sizes, shovels, hammers sickles and all other manner of eratz weapon. Miki quickly chose two of the thick bladed brush machetes which she put on a work belt around her waist and then took up a ditch blade with a grin. Long ago when she'd first seen them Miki had thought how like a pole arm they looked with their thick J shaped blade two feet long and their four foot handles.

Now she needed to find the keys to the rubber tire loader parked behind the equipment shed,
