How about an RP with six adventurers? If we can't get that many, we will make due with what we have. As to what the adventure is about, we can decide that later.
Now, these are just templates for the adventurers, so you will have to add more to them (including the name) or edit them. I think this covers a fair part of the spectrum of RP players, apart from evil characters.
1. The fighter. He is a recruit from his city's guard. Strong, loyal, and pious, he is dedicated to upholding the right thing, even at great personal cost. A real "Captain America." He mostly fights with powerful weapons and heavy armor, but lacks much agility or finesse.
2. The rogue. She was born into poverty on a sharecropper's farm, living with her parents. She fled that life of deprivation for a major city, but found that life was even worse there. Desperate, she joined the city's main crime syndicate and rose through its ranks. The rogue fights with daggers and light weapons, but prefers to use stealth rather than fight when possible.
3. The wizard. The son of a middle-class merchant family, he has learned magic in a fine academy. Upon graduation, he joined a mage's guild, but had a falling out with them recently for personal reasons. The wizard was not born with magical powers, but studied it from a young age. He is a versatile spellcaster, but lacks much in the way of close combat skill, and uses no armor.
4. The sorceress. Born as the youngest daughter of a rich and powerful noble family, this spellcaster inherited magical abilities from her ancient bloodlines. As a result, she was able to cast spells from about adolescence onward. Although she has had some tutoring, her magic is hard for her to control. She is selfish and spoiled, but has hidden depths underneath that pettiness.
5. The ranger. Hailing from a rocky countryside, he was part of a migratory tribe of hunters until he left it, seeking greater opportunities in the more civilized parts of the world. Although he is a loner by nature, he has a great respect for nature and all living things, even as he won't hesitate to kill his prey. He uses medium armor and fights with a bow and arrow.
6. The bard. Coming from obscure origins, no one is quite sure where this exotic woman is from. Although she is armed with a dagger, her silver tongue is her real weapon. Further, the bard's skills in dance and song are legendary. Although she doesn't use an instruments, she has performed at the finest courts in the land. Some say her skills are unnatural, while others attribute it to a combination of practice, talent, and sheer beauty.
Any takers? One person per role. If all are taken before I claim one, I will play another class, not mentioned here.
