Abram - Tina’s Apartment/Road - Samantha/Tina/Others

Abram nodded as Tina spoke. “I appreciate your concern, but, one way or another, we’re gonna get our friends back.” He glanced back momentarily at Samantha, then back to Tina. “Get Liam and Elyse out of here - that’s a good idea. Before you go I’m gonna need a couple things. First, I need to know if Caleb and Jace are going with you. I could use their help. Second I need to know about the other group Tremblay trades with.”

He knew the ideas he had in his head, but he also knew they could possibly get them killed. “We also need gas, enough to get to New Orleans.

Victor and Mandy - Grocery Store. Walker, LA - June & Co.

Mandy smiled happy to see Augusta again. Mandy gave a small wave to Malcolm, she signed to him, but translated in her rough voice. "Nice to meet you."

To June, Mandy explained what had happened as she had met the girl and then how the man showed up. Mostly through her rough speech, but emphasized with signs and facial expressions. She ended with, "I'm not sure if it was the start of a trap or not, but they didn't follow me." She ended with a shrug. Mandy had little to go off of for either of them, because she hadn't been able to understand them.

Victor meanwhile started setting up the small lightweight propane camping fire he had been carrying almost since New York. He shook the last propane canister. "We're low. I'll have to see if I can refill it at the gas station." He wasn't talking to anyone in particular, and had only been half paying attention to Mandy's story.

Anastasia - The Liquor Store/Grocery Store - Cricin/June/Mandy/Co.

Anastasia was confused, right up to the point where the girl left. She, too, seemed put off by the guy's tone of voice. She couldn't understand but a few words - some nasty ones, at that - but she could still hear that he wasn't happy about something. On the end of his rant, he muttered something about food.

"F-food?" She offered, extending the can in her hand towards him. "Come...uh- safe. I give food!"

She made a gesture for the man to follow her, and turned to go down the street that the girl had gone down. She looked towards what looked like a store, but for a 3rd time, today she found herself completely confused. She barely glimpsed the brunette walk inside. She decided to wait - maybe they would come outside...

Cricin - Liquor Store - Annie &Co.

Cricin was busy grumbling as the Russian girl mentioned food. His head shot up as the word was uttered, "Food?" He responded back. "You have food?" Cricin stopped himself from smiling, had to be cautious. It could be a trap, but his hunger pained for this. "Show me..." He followed meekly as the girl went down the street.

However he did notice Mandy enter the shop, he frowned as he met up with the Russian girl. He waited for a moment before turning to her.

"Are you two part of the same group or are we just waiting till she leaves?" Cricin sighed before peeking forwards to check what was inside the building. A group, ah...that wasn't the greatest thing. He felt uncomfortable just waiting outside, along with the fact that the group that Mandy was apparently in might kill him and take all his stuff. Not that he had much.

But the prospect of food kept him there, waiting for whatever the Russian girl was waiting for. "Sorry, I didn't catch your name, what was it again?" He asked her. Not that he hadn't asked before, but for this second it was just the two of them.

He had to remind himself not to strain too far for Clyde not to catch up with him. He hoped that Clyde had also found food so that he wasn't up to him.

Victor and Mandy - Grocery Store. Walker, LA - June & Co

Mandy watched the conversation, glanced around the room and realized that June's brothers weren't here. She frowned, but didn't ask. There'd be time for those questions to be answered later. "Where are we going to go after this though?" Mandy hadn't given it much thought to her plans after she found June. There wasn't anyone left... Except maybe her dad. "June, do you know if my dad-" Her voice cracked and she stopped talking. It had been something she hadn't wanted to think about.

Victor stood up. "I have enough for this meal, we'll be good." He turned to Mandy, "If you want to take June to find those people, I'll stay here and finish cooking." He spoke clearly enough that Mandy could easily understand him. Mandy looked to June and with R hand shape crossed her arms and then uncrossed them with her eyebrows lifted.

Anastasia - Grocery Store, Walker LA - Cricin/June/Mandy/Co.

Anastasia looked at the man, who she still didn't understand. He said something else, but all she caught was "name". She pointed to herself and raised an eyebrow. "Что? Name?" She took a moment, then slowly spoke in a heavy accent. "Eh- My name is Anastasia."

"Girl- she inside... eh..." She cursed. "Ой, это будет трудно." She sighed and tried to think of how to say her mind from the arsenal of about 10 English words she knew.

Before she could keep talk, another girl walked out, startling, Anastasia.

“Hey. You friendlies?”

She looked blankly at the new girl. "Что вы сказали?" She groaned quietly, slightly flustered. She wanted to rip her hair out and scream, but opted not to. "Eh - Привет, I.. friendly?" She looked at the girl with a pleading expression, hoping she would understand.

Cricin - Grocery Store - Annie/June/Mandy&Co.

Cricin stared at Anastasia blankly as she spoke, clearly she didn't know how to speak English. "Uh, right...Nice to meet you Anastasia" Cricin couldn't help but think of the Disney movie when he heard her name. When was the last time that he had watched Disney? Then again, it seems half the things in the universe were owned by Disney now.

"You don't speak much English do you? That must be annoying...." He muttered faintly before another girl came out. Different then the Mandy person.

When the girl asked if they were friendly, He briefly looked towards Anastasia to see if she would answer, but then realized (once again) that she didn't speak English much. He turned to the stranger and made a friendly smile.

"Ah, yes...we are friendlies! We are just searching for....." He stepped forward. "A group...and supplies...running kinda low on food and such. I do believe that we met one of your members earlier? Um, Mandy was her name? The Deaf one...She didn't seem to understand me...Then again, I don't really understand the welsh either. So that's pretty understandable" Cricin was so hungry. Why couldn't there be a giant mountain of food just for him...

Levi - Under Construction Apartments - Aubrey

Levi frowned. The man had been quite... strange, there was no doubt about that, but he couldn't help thinking that Aubrey had reacted a little too quickly. Still, he had not been present to witness the entire fiasco, so he could not blame her. Perhaps she had reacted appropriately, given how deranged the man had seemed when he was attacking her.

"I do what I can," he said, with a small smile. "Even then, I don't think I have the heart to offer essential supplies to complete strangers. People should be more like you, not me."

Aubrey - Under Construction Apartments - Levi

A pang of guilt made the young woman look from the man's eyes down to her own hands. Aubrey laughed once. A bit of a nervous laugh, but she didn't look up. "I do offer people food and shelter. Most stay for a few days... but I'm supposed to take them somewhere else."

Aubrey sighed as she thought of a way she could word her explanation to not make her sound like the bad guy. She wasn't a bad person. Just working with the wrong kind of people.

"I offer them a much better opportunity at living. If they accept, I take them there.... If not, I let them go. But it's better if they accept... At least this way the others don't capture them." She risked a glance up at Levi's eyes, preparing herself mentally for some sort of negative reaction. "I have no other choice. It's one of my jobs. I find people, I take them in. What the people above me decide to do with them, I don't have a say with nor do I know what they do with them. To be honest, I've kinda been taking things, slowly but surely, and bringing them here. I want to leave but I don't really know how. I think if I go missing past a few days or maybe a week, they'll look for me."

She spoke fairly fast, growing more nervous the more she spoke. She felt as if she was babbling and rambling on but at least now she had told the truth. Somewhat. She wasn't raised to be a liar.

Levi - Under Construction Apartments - Aubrey

He grew increasingly uncomfortable as she made her revelations. Her tone seemed evasive, as if she was attempting to minimise her role in whatever was going on at the camp she was a part of. Levi struggled with being judgmental; he knew that this world was capable of turning men and women into monsters, but he wondered if that dark seed had always been there, waiting for a reaper.

"Deciding that you don't have a choice is a choice. There's always an alternative, but you won't know it exists if you aren't interested in looking for it."

Levi approached the window and watched the cold, concrete jungle. He could still hear the hissing of walkers in the distance, but it seemed that they had not been followed. Levi would never regret saving the life of another human being, but he was beginning to feel that staying with Aubrey might not be such a good idea.

"How many people have you hurt?" he asked, still gazing resolutely at the buildings outside.

Victor - Grocery store. Walker, LA - Augusta and Malcolm

Victor nodded to Augusta's suggestion. "Lead the way." He said as he picked up the small campfire stove. It was his most prized possession these days, some dents and scratches, but for the most part perfectly clean. He handed Malcolm the propane container, and juggled some other stuff.

Mandy - Outside the Grocery Store. Walker, LA - June, Cricin, and Annie

June glanced to Mandy asking with just her face Mandy's opinion. Mandy shrugged, she put her right hand up in a fist near her forehead and flicked her forefinger up while shaking her head. Then put both hands together laterally, sliding her right one over the left. After she finished that sign she lifted her right hand to her chin and slid it down it in a fist hand shape.

Trey - Cell - Danny and Co.

Trey's experience with this Magnus dude weren't too fun. He'd successfully beaten the living crap out of 2 of the men when they attacked, so their buddies weren't too happy with him: and they ended up breaking a rib and giving him a very bruised eye. Needless to say, he was fuming with anger.

When the girl had shot Richard, that'd only angered him more. Sure, he might not have exactly been best friends with Danny and his group, but he knew Richard well - he was a good man. He decided that he'd try extra hard to kill her when he next got a chance. Trey sat up, much to the protest of his ribs. He earned a concerned glance from the girl - Zoe, he thought her name was.

"Are you okay?" She asked, half-heartedly. Trey nodded, mentally concluding that Zoe and her husband must've new to this kind of violence. They both looked like good kids, but they both seemed too kind for a world like this.

The man looked around the cell, glancing at the British guy who had just removed the arrow from Richard's leg. He had a wild look in his eyes - like he might have a pal up his sleeve. "Hey, Doctor Who. Please tell me you've got an idea of some kind."

Aubrey - Under Construction Apartments - Levi

Aubrey frowned slightly as she chewed over what Levi was telling her. He didn't like what she had just revealed to him, but then again, who would? Was she as bad as the people she worked for and those who had broken her and her friends up?

Levi's question should have been expected, but still, Aubrey looked up in surprise at the young man. 'How many people have I hurt?' The woman thought as she kept her gaze on Levi. She hadn't hurt many since she had found a place in Magnus' place. "I haven't hurt many... Since I've been here... On my way from Texas to here, I have hurt only those who tried to injure my friends or myself. I've never killed anyone though... I.... I also can't shoot a gun."

Aubrey looked at the man's face for any sign of anger, hate, fear, disgust, sympathy; just any emotion, really. She didn't understand exactly why she was telling him her backstory, but she felt as if she owed him for saving her life. She just hoped he wouldn't leave her. Not with that lunatic out there. "What about you? Why didn't you ask me if I had killed anybody?"

Jessalyn - Office - Tremblay, Floyd

Jess faltered a bit when she finally calmed down enough to see Floyd's reaction. He didn't say a word to her. He hugged her back yes, but didn't speak and his face barely showed any reaction. Had they hurt him somehow? Was he in shock?
Or was he actually...

She stopped the thought before it fully formed. She couldn't... she refused to think that he might not...
Instead she tried to ignore his strange behavior, especially after his facial expression finally changed once he held Ben. Jess had hoped to be left alone with him, to get him to speak to her, to start reconnecting again, but of course Tremblay had to ruin things by making them go to his office. Jessalyn took Ben when Floyd handed him back to her and stuck close to his side as they left the room, keeping one arm holding Ben and the other on Floyd's arm, as if he might disappear if she let go. Her eyes darted right and left like a frightened animal that had been struck already and was afraid of being struck again. Now that she had the two most important people in her life with her she would attack anyone who tried to take either of them away from her.

Once in the office she stuck close to Floyd once again, bouncing Ben lightly as he leaned against the wall. Her eyes narrowed when Tremblay said something about Floyd's job here.
"What?" she asked, her voice sharp as a tack. "What do you mean Floyd's job? You are not putting him to work because we are not staying here. You said that you wouldn't let me leave because it wasn't safe for me and Ben alone. We're not alone now. Floyd is here and we are leaving, and that includes the people who came with him. You hate people coming into Baton Rouge so much? Well be happy, because we are leaving."

Ever since she had become a mother Jess had gotten more confident and more sure of herself. You did NOT mess with a Mama Bear, not if you wanted to survive with all of your limbs.

When he asked about Tyler Salem Jess blinked. For an awful moment the memories of being in that underground hell returned and she trembled a bit but quickly regained control. She looked at Floyd and saw that he wasn't planning on saying anything. For whatever reason, he was not going to talk.
Okay then, neither would she.
Looking back at Tremblay, she stared at him evenly.

Katie - Furniture Store - Scarlett, KK

Katie cuddled against Scarlett, trying not to cry. She needed to be brave and strong, to make her daddy proud.
But it hurt so much...

"Where is my daddy?" she asked, her little voice laced with pain and sadness. "Where did they take him?" she asked, directing all of her questions at Scarlett, not wanting to even look at the woman in the room. She was bad too. Everyone here was bad.
But even though she was looking at and talking to Scarlett, it was obvious she wanted the bad woman to hear what she was saying.
"We didn't do anything wrong. We were just staying there and being together and being happy. Why did those bad men come and hurt us? They hurt me... they hurt daddy... we didn't do anything to them. They took my daddy away. And I lost my kitten," she said, remembering her poor little kitten who was probably still waiting for her. "He's still in me and daddy's room."

All of the talking wore her out quickly because of the pain in her chest. The little girl laid her head back down on Scarlett's lap, her eyes finally welling with large tears. She cried now, but it was a silent crying that was somehow more heartwrenching then if she had been screaming or wailing. Her bottom lip quivered.

"I want you back daddy..."

Chae, Miguel, Moksha - Old Jefferson, Suburbs - Ricky

As the dogs began to scatter, Chae breathed a sigh of relief. From behind where she was in the home, she could hear Miguel finish off a few infected, opting for the convenience of a gun over the stealth of wrestling them o the ground. There would be more soon; if the guns weren't a giveaway-- and they were-- then the yowls of the defeated and starving dogs would certainly bring about every infected body within the suburb.

Chae was a fierce believer in the souls, autonomy, and intelligence of animals. One of the more flowery of beliefs given to her by her hippie grandmother, she found herself certain in those beliefs. Moksha purred in her arms, she looked down at the kitten, certain that he was completely aware of what he'd done. The dogs were whimpering all the louder, all because they'd been outdone by a kitten prepared to face death. And Moksha, purring like a smug ball of suicidal fur, was silently mocking them.

Everyone had to evolve with the apocalypse.. even kittens.

The man began to speak, as he registered what was happening-- that his life had been saved by a Hispanic youth and some Asian cat lady. He was cute-- older, but cute-- he couldn't have been from around here, that he looked like an Italian off of Entourage was one giveaway, another was how he spoke; Moksha had saved a Canadian.

"Yeah..." Chae shrugged, only slightly alarmed by the man going for his weapon, "Dogs lost their heads pretty quick after people stopped givin' them food..." She chuckled, reminiscence in her eyes, "Man, this fuckin' pack of corgis in Florida almost ripped my arm off!" She shifted the arm she held the kitten in, showing a recently healed scar just under a rolled up sleeve, "It was wild-- He Miguel, you remember that?" She received only a grunt in response as the teen approached, arms crossed. Chae turned her attention back to the Canadian on the ground, "Anyway, I guess as time goes on only the big, bad doggies get to stay alive.."

Chito began tapping is foot impatiently-- reminding Chae she was going off on a tangent, she completely ignored the man's question.

"But yeah! Umm, sure man! Another set of eyes couldn't hurt..." She said, partially sighing, relief she wasn't talking to some crazed murderer. If he did plan on killing them, he at least had the decency to hide his psychopathy and make her feel comfortable. "It was little Moksha here who wanted to save you, although I think he may have just wanted to piss off some dogs to be honest..."

"Hey, Chae?" Miguel spoke, a frown forming on his face, "You wanna make friends-- that's great, chica. But can we do it somewhere else? Like anywhere else? We can talk when the nzumbi aren't about to sacrifice us all, that good?" And with that, he moved to where the man sat, offering him a hand to help him stand up, he asked, "Those knives any good against a crowd?"

Cricin - Grocery Store - Annie/Mandy/June &Co.

Cricin peeked to see Mandy behind the girl making signs. Well, at least he guessed it was signs. He had no idea what they meant, perhaps she was signalling to shoot him in the face. He stared at the girl, who seemed to take note of what Mandy was saying. Whatever that was. Just let the food come, that's all he wanted...

A large grin appeared on Cricin's face as the girl said that he could come in. "Ah, yes...thank you so much" He clasped his hands together to say thank you before taking a step in. However he stopped and turned around to Anastasia. "I'm guessing you're coming in?" Cricin spoke slowly, sure she didn't understand English. But maybe it would help her a little more? Anastasia hadn't spoken too much, but then why would she as she seemed t only say very basic things at best.

With that he jumped into the broken store. "So...is this where you set camp or is this just for tonight?" Cricin wondered if she would be wary to speak to him. If one would think about the question he spoke, it could very well be what a bandit asked to scout.
