Anastasia - Grocery Store, Walker LA - June/Mandy/Cricin

Anastasia looked hesitantly at the letters on the board. She let out a helpless whimper and sighed. She looked at Mandy, using her hands to accentuate her words. "Eh... My English," Crossed her palms a couple times, making a universal sign for bad. "Bad."

The whole while, her cheeks burned red of embarrassment. She knew these people had to be laughing in their heads at the stupid Russian girl. "I..eh... want h-help you."

Меня зовут Анастасия

Name - Alice Renee Beauregard
Age - 18
Status - Inmate
Personality - Alice is a sweet girl, and she has a very tender heart, unless angered. She is happy and innocent, joyfully reciting her adventures in wonderland to anyone who will listen. She normally wears a blissful smile that is accompanied by earnest words. She does her best to be very frank.
Brief Bio -
As a child, Alice was always different then the other kids. She had a vivid imagination, and loved reading fairy tales and fantasy novels. When she was 7, her father gave her a copy of Lewis Carol's Through the Looking Glass. The namesake of the main character,"Alice", and the endearing features of wonderland lead to her becoming infatuated with the story. She ended up reading it dozens of times over, which struck her parents and brother as odd.
When she was 9, she claimed she was, in fact, Alice from the book. She claimed that she'd become good friends with the Mad Hatter and traveled to wonderland. Her parents criticized her for her foolishness, and eventually sent her to see a psychiatrist at the age of 15. Though the psychiatrist got Alice to explain her adventures in great detail, he never helped her problem to be fixed.
When she was 16, her older brother became tired of the behavior, and attempted to take her book while she was reading in the kitchen. In an angry frenzy, she pushed at him, but he insisted on taking the book. In retaliation, Alice grabbed a knife, and stabbed him, screaming, "It's my only memories of wonderland!"

Anastasia looked at the man, who she still didn't understand. He said something else, but all she caught was "name". She pointed to herself and raised an eyebrow. "Что? Name?" She took a moment, then slowly spoke in a heavy accent. "Eh- My name is Anastasia."

"Girl- she inside... eh..." She cursed. "Ой, это будет трудно." She sighed and tried to think of how to say her mind from the arsenal of about 10 English words she knew.

Before she could keep talk, another girl walked out, startling, Anastasia.

“Hey. You friendlies?”

She looked blankly at the new girl. "Что вы сказали?" She groaned quietly, slightly flustered. She wanted to rip her hair out and scream, but opted not to. "Eh - Привет, I.. friendly?" She looked at the girl with a pleading expression, hoping she would understand.
Anastasia - The Liquor Store/Grocery Store - Cricin/June/Mandy/Co.

Anastasia was confused, right up to the point where the girl left. She, too, seemed put off by the guy's tone of voice. She couldn't understand but a few words - some nasty ones, at that - but she could still hear that he wasn't happy about something. On the end of his rant, he muttered something about food.

"F-food?" She offered, extending the can in her hand towards him. "Come...uh- safe. I give food!"

She made a gesture for the man to follow her, and turned to go down the street that the girl had gone down. She looked towards what looked like a store, but for a 3rd time, today she found herself completely confused. She barely glimpsed the brunette walk inside. She decided to wait - maybe they would come outside...

Abram - Tina’s Apartment - Sam/Leah/Liam/ETC.

Abram had been okay with bringing the Liam kid along, but he got a strange feeling from George. The man was obviously in Scarlett and Tyler’s group, but he’d done nothing to even try and stop their abduction. Abe had his qualms with Tyler Salem, but as far as he was concerned, Scarlett and Katie were completely innocent. He figured it was just his soldiers instinct, but he had a feeling in his gut that he had help save them. He also made a promise to Samantha that he would…

So that decided it. They’d have to set out to find those people - whoever they were. He’d fulfill his promise

Presently, Abe stood outside Tina’s garden, watching Sam. He could see the the grieved look on her face. He’d seen the same look on Jess’ face when they’d been searching for floyd. Abe had worn that face several times in his lifetime. He knew the feeling of looking for something you couldn’t find.

He approached Sam, walking in the garden unannounced. He just leaned against the table close to her. “I wanna… tell you a story. I knew a guy - his name was Daniel… He was… he was a monster of a guy; made me look small. Now… Master Sergeant Daniel Crowe was one of the most fearless men you’d ever meet. I served three tours with him - he saved my life more times than I care to count.”

“When all -” He spread his hands out. “- all this crap came, he left the army base to look for someone - his sister, Emma. Sweetest little girl you’d ever meet. Now… Daniel went to New Orleans because he had reason to believe that’s where his sister and dad were. Now - about six months into this crap, he found a trail of her.”

He let out a longing sigh. “Daniel and his friend Shannon tracked her down, only to find out that she’d been kidnapped by a man named Tyler. Now - I’d heard of this guy through plenty of bandit groups - he took women, treated them like cattle for breeding stock.”

“See, Daniel was nothing if not a hero.” He, shrugging his shoulders. “He was always helping people. Daniel took it upon himself - he went to the aid of a group of survivors, called em’selves ‘Haywood’.”

“With the the help of those survivors, he stormed that hideout like it was nothing. They rescued Emma and a few others.” He shifted a little on the table. “A couple weeks later, me and Jess found our way to those two siblings. They were happy as ever. One night, I asked Daniel - I said ‘What kept you going?’. He told me. ‘Every time I closed my eyes, I saw her. And every night I’d stare into the dark and cry, because I felt like I had failed her’.”

He met Samantha’s gaze, a sympathetic look in his face. “What I want you to understand - Emotion is not a weakness. Emotion is what makes us human. Don’t try and bottle it down. That’ll tear you up. Use that emotion - use it to drive yourself.”

He put his hand on her shoulder. “You will find her, Sam. We will find her.”
Anastasia - Liqour Store - Mandy/Cricin

Anastasia looked blankly at the woman. She had no idea what she was saying. The woman spoke a bit deeper and in a different tone than most American’s she’d met. “Я не понимаю…” She muttered under her breath. “Sorry,” She searched for the words in her head, “I - uh. English, no good.” She blushed heavily, rather frustrated by her inability to speak English.

“I - err. No friends…” She sighed, exasperated. “Боже мой, я выгляжу глупо.” She closed her eyes and gathered thoughts. “You, eh, help me?” She put her thumb to her chest, pointing at herself.

When the second person appeared, Anastasia almost jumped from herskin. Her left hand teetered around the knife that was tucked under the sweatshirt tied to her waist, her right hand tightly gripping her walking stick. “Боже мой!” She blurted, in surprise. He looked at her with dumb stare, which she returned, completely blank of expression. “Убей меня сейчас…”
Anastasia - Liquor Store, Walker, LA - Mandy

Anastasia's attention was drawn from the sign as a girl appeared to her left. She stepped back, slightly weary of meeting a new stranger. "Hello... I-I am friend." She said, in a horribly thick accent. She gave the woman a smile, waiting in silence for her response. Nervously, she fixed the strap of her black tank top, shifting uncomfortably.

She looked at the woman with anticipation, watching her intently. She was pretty, her nice brown hair complimented her skin, and her eyes were rather striking. She slightly reminded Anastasia of her mother...

She shifted again, slightly uncomfortable. She slid her pack off her shoulder, unzipping it. She produced a can of what looked like beans, extending her hand towards the woman. "Ты голоден?"

Anastasia - Outskirts of Walker, LA

Anastasia had been walking for a while in the bright sun. Thankfully, the heat wasn't too merciless in January. With her walking stick in her right hand and her water bottle in her left, she trekked down the shoulder of the highway. Presently, she reached tucked her bottle into the side-pocket of her rucksack and brushed her dirty, blonde hair behind her ear. Thankfully she hadn't seen any infected in a while, so she traversed the road with ease.

After another couple minutes of walking, she felt stomach rumble. "Время для отдыха..." She muttered to herself. She sighed and set her stick on the ground, sliding her pack from her shoulders. She unzipped it and rifled through the cans and supplies, finding a large protein bar under a full roll of duct tape. She took her time in eating the snack - it’d been a couple hours since she’d eaten.

When she finished, she washed it down by emptying the last bit of her water bottle. She pursed her lips looked at the empty bottle. Unfortunately, she only had two, and now they were both depleted. She sighed again, glancing around. The last stop was about a mile back. She looked up the road ahead of her - a green sign read something in English that she didn’t understand. She had no ideas what the words meant, but she had figured out that most of the ramps lead to gas stations - stops for traveling cars before the outbreak. She was glad that American roads were similar to those in Russia.

She decided to try her luck with the exit ahead, picking up pack and stick and walking towards the turn-off. She regarded her blue jacket and decided to unzip it, tying it around the waste. It was getting a bit hot, and she was sweating lightly - so she tied it around her waist. Shouldering her backpack, she set off towards the exit sign. When she neared the sign, she saw an infected come up the shoulder of the road, sauntering towards her.

She let it come close, gripping her hiking stick tightly. When it was within reach, she pointed the sharp end of the stick at it, jabbing it. The thing protested as it got stuck on the end. Anastasia pushed hard, sending it to the ground. Before it could get back up, she stabbed it in the head with the tip. “Хорошая игра.” She said wiping the gore off the stick with the infecteds shirt.

She turned her head and began walking up the incline, past the green sign. When she reached the top of the hill, she saw a couple buildings. There were no infected on the roads, so she assumed that they were all inside the buildings. She glanced at a building - “Walker Discount Liqour!” - Yet, again, she stared innocently at the sign, oblivious to meaning of the words.
