As you can probably guess from reading between the lines of the above pamphlet all of their claims are a lot of bull crap. Scarlet Meadows Asylum is a place where people put their unwanted relatives so they will be out of sight and out of mind. Behind the charismatic smile is a director who is more evil then a lot of the inmates he takes in, performing inhuman experiments on the people he is supposed to be helping and caring for.

But you can only push already insane people so far. And the time has come for the inmates to fight back...

This is a modern horror rp set in a mental asylum. The inmates have taken over and, since the place is so exclusive and isolated, no one in the outside world will even be aware of it for some time. Which gives the inmates plenty of time to exact their revenge while the workers and others try to escape with their lives.

You can play as either an inmate or a worker or even a visitor to the asylum. This is a HORROR rp so if you join please do not have a weak stomach or have problems with blood and gore. Any kind of sex should be in pms, but as for gore this is going to be a free-for-all.

Rules:

1. No OP characters. No characters that are super strong or have powers. This is not a fantasy rp. The inmates can think they have powers but they will not. They are susceptible to locked doors and gates.
2. No fighting in the OOC. I mean it. If I see any bullying or name-calling you will be warned then kicked from the rp and blocked from rejoining.
3. If you disappear from the rp (do not post regularly or say nothing in the OOC for a significant amount of time) then your character will mostly likely be killed.
4. Killing of characters MUST BE AGREED UPON.
5. All ideas are welcome! If you have any ideas for MAJOR plot-related ideas, characters. locations, etc. then please PM either myself or my Co-GM(s). Also if you want to make any MAJOR plot decisions please ask me or my co-GM's first beforehand.
6. I reserve the right to add more rules if needed.

Personality - portrays a façade of sweet and innocent little girl, always giggling at something and trying to entice people to 'play' with her, when in reality she is a twisted psychopath like her brother, her 'games' and 'playing' being fatal to the people she cons into being her playmates. if she deems someone as 'mean' such as the director, she will threaten to tell her brother on them which usually results in the person's painful horrifying death. the only person she loves is her older brother.

Brief Bio - Lilly and her older brother were taken from their parents when the couple were arrested for multiple murders. They were separated and placed into different foster homes, but both siblings were wild and uncontrollable when separated. Hoping to improve their behavior the court ordered them placed in the same foster home, reuniting them. But that was the worst thing they could have done. While apart the siblings were nearly impossible to handle, but together they were a lethal combination of cannibalistic killers. After slaughtering their foster family the two were taken into custody and deemed unfit to stand trial because of their mental status.
Since then they had been confined to Scarlet Meadows Asylum, where the director has been using them as subjects in a behavioral study about the psychological bond between siblings and their craving for human flesh as well as the need they have to 'play' with their victims.
Lilly is NOT happy at being kept apart from her brother and is biding her time until she can get back at the 'mean people'...

Personality - Alice is a sweet girl, and she has a very tender heart, unless angered. She is happy and innocent, joyfully reciting her adventures in wonderland to anyone who will listen. She normally wears a blissful smile that is accompanied by earnest words. She does her best to be very frank.
Brief Bio -
As a child, Alice was always different then the other kids. She had a vivid imagination, and loved reading fairy tales and fantasy novels. When she was 7, her father gave her a copy of Lewis Carol's Through the Looking Glass. The namesake of the main character,"Alice", and the endearing features of wonderland lead to her becoming infatuated with the story. She ended up reading it dozens of times over, which struck her parents and brother as odd.
When she was 9, she claimed she was, in fact, Alice from the book. She claimed that she'd become good friends with the Mad Hatter and traveled to wonderland. Her parents criticized her for her foolishness, and eventually sent her to see a psychiatrist at the age of 15. Though the psychiatrist got Alice to explain her adventures in great detail, he never helped her problem to be fixed.
When she was 16, her older brother became tired of the behavior, and attempted to take her book while she was reading in the kitchen. In an angry frenzy, she pushed at him, but he insisted on taking the book. In retaliation, Alice grabbed a knife, and stabbed him, screaming, "It's my only memories of wonderland!"

Personality - Lyle is extremely protective of his sister. Being kept from her infuriates him. Unlike his sister he doesn't come off as innocuous, people tend to get weird vibes from him. When around his sister it is clear that of the two he has a bit better grasp of how human society works, but he usually allows his sister to do as she pleases. The only emotion Lyle shows is when it is concerned with Lilly, be that love toward her, or anger at someone who had hurt her. It hasn't matter what they did to him, except save playing her screams, he has not reacted. At the sound of her screams Lyle killed two orderlies and hospitalized another three before they subdued him.

Name: Winona Macintosh

Age: 73

Status: Inmate

Personality: Winona has gotten cold and snappy with age. She is demanding, aggressive, and short tempered. She in infamous for being verbally abusive and using her religion as a weapon as well as a justification for her actions. She can lash out phsycially but not often, as her old age makes it ineffective. She is obviously very religious and prejudice.

Brief Bio: Winona lived in the fictional Canadian province of Huntington until the age of 70. She lived on a ranch where she raised her four children; Jakob, Alvin, Isabelle, and Lawrence. Lawrence was the only child to survive into his adulthood as Jakob and Alvin were killed in a stampede and Isabelle died in childbirth at age 19. Her husband died shortly after the death of her three children.
When Lawrence turned 18, he left home to work at a lumber camp. As she aged, it got harder and harder for Winona to take care of herself and there was no one to take care of her, as she had scared them all away with her rude and aggressive tendancies. She asked Lawrence to move back in with her. If he did so, she promised him ownership of the ranch when she died. Reluctantly, Lawrence complied and moved back home.
However, Winona's abuse was more than he could bare. She contsantly battered him every day about not marrying and not giving her any grandchildren. She would demand outrageous service from him and criticise him on his every act. It soon reached the point in which she claimed God had told her that Lawrence was stealing from her and trying to kill her. She began to make more outrageous claims against Lawrence until he decided he had to send her away to an asylum that would keep her contained - regardless if it were in another country.

okay so does anyone have any ideas on how to start this? having some trouble coming up with a good starting point.

Maybe start with the announcement that the inmates have taken over? Or start the day of the take over with a brief idea of what happens in day-to-day?
