Short bio:
Claudius was born into a regal family of strict rules. He tried his best to follow the rules, but he was always more spacey than his two older brothers. He could never sit in one spot easily, and he was constantly yelled at for playing with his food. He was, magically, more gifted than his two brothers, as he could use magic at a much earlier age. His brothers constantly picked on and bullied him as a result.

When he went to Hogwarts, his two brothers were sorted in Ravenclaw, and he expected much the same, however, the sorting hat put him into Hufflepuff, mortifying his family. They always made up excuses as to why he could never return home for Christmas or any other break, and while Claudius was aware, a part of him hoped they were telling the truth. They never were. When Claudius graduated, he immediately cut ties with his family, and went into studying and getting ready to work in Astronomy. The old professor who had taught him Astrology was his main influence, and still motivates Claudius today.

Personality:
Spacey and not well focused, Claudius always pays attention to the little things in life. He never saw value in money or high society, so mostly he acts like he had a ruff and poor upbringing. His manners need a lot of work, and he struggles to say things properly 'Wouldya' for an example. He does most of this purely to irritate his family, even though they can't see him do these things. The only thing he puts serious passion and effort into is teaching his students about the stars, a job he's done for a while. He finds the sky beautiful in it's own way, and implores his students to see the same fascination he does.
