June stood on the square together with the other dragon riders that would receive their dragons today. She was the first dragon rider of her family and her family had been very proud of her during her study's about the dragons, she had enjoyed the studies and was very curious which dragon would choose her. She hoped for the Albino Flame Dragon, the protector of the weak. She stood next to Angelica, a Elf princess with a pretty big attitude or at least toward June she had one.

The keepers of the dragons came with the dragons, one by one and let them free. The dragons choose a rider by walking to them, sniffing their body and then laying down. June got sniffed a few times but every time the dragon walked away again and turned to someone else. Once the last dragon came, the Albino one, only she and Angelica where left and the dragon went straight to the Elf Princess. June waited for the next dragon to appear but nobody came. ''I am sorry June, maybe next year'' the head master of the dragons said. June sighed and walked away, sad and defeated.

Angelica was a bit surprised that the dragon choise her that was for sure but she smiled and looked at the big beast. "well hello big guy, you got a name?" she asked slowly before she noticed the girl named June walking away defeated looking. She blinked and went over "hey, look I don't know why no dragon chooses you that an honest statement but maybe if you go to the mountain prison the dangerous bloke that lives there can be your dragon. They say he is the goldenly godly dragon that once soared before the wars of elves and dragons. Hey justa thought" she said, course this was a joke, she had not really meant for June to go toward that deadly creature. She then went back to the abino dragon and blinked .

"well i guess I'm going to have to find a bigger room now" she teased as she pets his scales gently as she walked away with the white dragon toward the rioders room, now that she had a dragon the room was increased in size and steanth to hold the dragon and she came into her roomn it was very open a small fire place, bedrooms, kitchen, book study everything really she had. she also had a black wolf that was sleeping on the bed that perked its ears slightly and lifted its head toward the mistress and barked happy to see her and froze seeing the reptile that fallowed and bolted under the bed eyes huge.

The dragon looked at his new rider and sniffed into her hair again. '' Keleth, Protector of the Weak '' he said with a deep voice. ''What you just did there was a very bad choice.. The dragon that is locked up, is very dangerous as you know Princess. This girl seemed to be very defeated about not finding her dragon yet, she might take a chance. If she does, it is going to be your duty to get the idea out of her head'' Keleth said as he walked into the room and slowly laid down. ''Don't worry'' he said to the wolf. ''I am the protector of the weaker, I can't harm you'' he said.

June was a little surprised by the help Angelica gave her, the princess had never been really nice to her. Maybe this dragon would choose her, she could try it. She went to her still small room and packed her bag, as not being chosen by a dragon, she would have to leave the room until the new dragons would be big enough for the choosing ceremony and that would be a full year. She could at least give it a try. She took the maps of the great dragon mountain where the dragons who had harmed people would be captured and a bit food for the first days, then she left and made the people believe she would simply leave the room for a new student.

She went into the forest and followed the path to the mountain, which was pretty close by and in a few hours of walking, she would be at the feet of the mountain. ''Let's hope that this is worth it, or else that dragon can better eat me...'' she said, she then closed her eyes for ten seconds and started to walk again.

"oh come on you really think she would go after something so dangerous not even i would go there no matter how defeated I was" she said and shuddered at the idea of going near that large beast that was locked away. She laughed as her wolf growled deeply at the dragon as she mutters elven words the wlf barked and came out from under the bed but dared not get any closer to that ....lizard. it growled slightly uneasy but the princess smiled "I like that name, well feel free to sleep whereever you like i got no issues" she said sitting down on the bed slowly.

The mountain prison was a bit away from the school about ten miles away, dirt path and a gate which was broken and anyone could get in. The priuson bars where fused with magic and only a human could pass by or another dragon. There was no dragon...that she could see but there where moubtains of gold and shiny stones and everything in the cave.

Keleth looked at the wolf and spitted out a little drop of lava to make it shut up and then looked at Angelica. ''Angelica is your name if I am right.. That girl is the first in her family to be a dragon ride, she wants her parents to be proud of her'' the dragon said. He kept away that it was his brother in the cage up in the mountain. ''You leaded her there, so it will be your duty to save her, of course I'll help you'' he said and slowly got up. ''Sleeping places will come later, after the dog learned not to be scared for me, he will find that my skin is pretty nice to lay against.. All the little creatures laid against me during my training time..'' he said and then walked out of the room.

June found out it was a pretty easy path to walk and though she had tripped over a few roots that laid above the ground and had some dirt on her arms and legs, she had found what she was looking for and looked around. ''Hello?'' she asked around before she passed by the broken gate. ''No guards..'' she said and closed her eyes. ''Okay, here I come'' she said and walked into the cave, she saw a lot of gold and shiny stones but no dragon. She didn't know what to do and sat down on a small heap of gold and took some of it in her hand and threw it away, hitting a wall or so she thought, not knowing she actually was throwing the coins at the head of the dragon's head.

He had been locked away for ages, his wrath was something every dragon rider feared as his eyes created deep fear. massive body was hidden in the gold blending in perfectly hidden in the mounds of gold, chains kept him from leaving his prison. Till now, the feeling of footsteps, his eyes snapped open, intruder. His head slowly lifted from the gold that concealed his golden body and gave a snarl looking around deeply fangs bared.

Intruder, Show yourself, maybe your death will be swift and painless The mighty golden dragon growled eyes glowing sharply fangs bared eyes glowing deep blue color. He let his massive tail lash out as he roared deeply fire spews from his mouth sharply as the golden dragon walks around his wings were massive and sharp. His eyes created terror into anyone who looked into them. His fangs bared as he prowled around and finally spotted the small human and lowered his head toward the male fangs bared giving a snarl like sound from his throat.

Intruder, you are not welcome here, I shall burn you into a crisp unless you have a good reason for being here. So you better start talking My kindness is thin and rare he growled deeply fangs glowing with flames as his tail lashed behind her sharply as she stood up fully height towering over him at his alarming height and if that really didn't scare you the aura around him of death and vengeance did. He was rumored to be one of the most dangerous creatures to ever walk the world of dragon riders. He was said to be the most powerful of the grandsons and born of god but course those where rumors. he was born a nice creature one that loved to play and frolic with the other dragons but when his powers showed, the riders feared him. He became ruthless and cunning, smart and agile being the best arial attacker in the wider community but in fear the riders took her to a mountain where they imprisoned him...never to let him live her life free from this chains and magic bars that held him in.

His eyes were out in space slightly before he snarled and shook her head sharply and looked down at the mortal male that stood below him like an ant, just like every rider should be. he could burn him with no problem and snarling he gave a deep roar and reared up on his hind legs and roared deeply. His golden scales shine brightly as that if they were made of pure golden glow of gold itself that scatters the ground. His blue piercing eyes looked down at the human growling deeply.

Angelica sighed as she grabbed her arrows and sword and dashed out as she ran down the road shifting magic into a black wolf running toward the mountain and shrieking to a stop near the bars and fangs bared gently . She shifted elf form as she couldn't pass by "GET OUT OF THERE OU MORON I WAS BLOODY JOKING" yelled the elf as she banged on the bars angrily till she hears that roar and stumbled away in terror as she could see the massive tail that slammed into the bars sharply and she shook away eyes wide as the tail was spiked sharply the spikes like swords and daggers "oh God get out of there June NOW" she yelled

June could jump away just in time and find a shelter that didn't melt in the hot flames. ''Great Gold Dragon, I am simply here to show you that not every human has to be afraid of you.. I am a dragon rider but not any dragon choose me, Maybe I was born to fly with you across the sky, showing that you are the dragon you once was.. Please, give me a chance to show I am worth a little more of your time.. If I can't get your chains away from you and bond with you, I can do nothing more for you than be a snack'' She said, she got out of her shelter and looked at the great dragon, her eyes wide and her mouth dropped open. ''Great Dragon, Can I please tell that you are the most beautiful dragon I have ever seen'' she said and bowed deeply for him.

Keleth followed his rider and when he though she went to slow, he used his tail to her her on his back and flew of trough the sky up to the mountain, he dropped her of and then landed. ''Oh no... She woke him up... She will only survive now if her heart is true... Or, she has a chance to survive then'' the white dragon said. He flew up and landed behind the gates, since he was a dragon, he could go there. He looked at the Gold Dragon with his own sky blue eyes and felt a bond that he never had felt before.

Draco snarled at his brother "SILENCE I have not asked for you to talk to me" the massive dragon snarled at the white dragon with sharpness fangs bared at the smaller dragon eyes glowing blue and turned his head toward the female and fangs stayed bared fangs bared deeply "You think its that easy to rid history ? of human hearts of the terror that tyey know of?" he snapped fangs bared eyes glowing sharply as the golden scales brtiseled sharpled as the chains coiled around him sharply to keep him from leaving the jail cell he wasleft in. His eyes glowing sharply and then looked at his brother sharply "away now before I decide to not spare your rider eiuther for being the rwason i am awake" he snapped slashed his tail toward his brother sharply blowing him away from the bars of the jail cell. He then shifted to the human "you have one chance......one chance alone" he growled as he laid down to allow her to get access to his chains that held him there. As she touched the chains, he could feel that the searing pain sear through his body as a mark was ingraved in his shoulder just the same would happen to June, pain would flash through her as she would be burned with the mark of the dragon riders of old and stories the old dragon riders where bound to wild dragons not tamed dragons of the school. the golden dragon fainted as his mind rewired to be a dragon that protects its rider and not one that ransacked villages and homes.

June hears nothing but a screama nd eyes widened gently "whast going on ?" she asked her dragon

Keleth flew of and laid his tail around Angelica. ''We can't do anything, it is up to June now'' he said and laid his head down.

June walked to the dragon and hesitated for a second then closed her eyes. ''Thank you for this chance'' she whispered and laid her hand on the chain around his neck. She then felt a burning pain in her shoulder and fell on her knees but didn't let her hand slip of the collar around his neck. I can do this.. she thought to her self and screamed from the pain in her shoulder, it felt like someone was drawing on her shoulder with a very hot iron poke and drew very slowly so every inch of flesh that the poke touched would totally burn. She then fainted and laid against the gold dragon, with her hand on his neck as the chains disappeared and he was free from his cage.

For June the time she was fainted like she was watching Draco's past but couldn't help when he needed someone, first that felt very painful but later as she arrived to the time they where in now, she felt it really had been her destiny to become his rider. By the time she woke up, the burning pain was gone and she looked around slowly, finding out she laid on a pile made of leaves and some gold and she looked up. ''Wait.. Where am I? Where is he?'' she asked and saw Angelica making something in a pot. ''Angelica..'' she said, her voice soft. ''You where here.. All the time.. Together with your dragon, where is Draco?'' she asked and got up, she felt on her shoulder. The burn on it didn't feel painful anymore.

Angelica looked at her "your bound to Draco, you are bound the old fashion way with a wild dragon that was meant to be your for centeries" said slowly as she gave her the soup that would help her pain and help her regain engery once more. She looked over as her dragon came back from a nice flight "Don't worry Draco is a bit tired right now he will be fine within a few hours" she said pointing outside in the massive courtyard where the massive dragon was curled up his massive wimgs hid him like an egg shell only his tail stuck out the sun rays hitting him as his golden color shines brightly.

The head master stormed into the room though a bit pissed off "Now who in the world brought back a dangerous creature" he demanded, Agelica said "I did i said it as a joke but june took it and found herself bound to the creature of old myths" she saod slowly as she sat down slowly and pets the black winged starry wolf that barked and nodded as it was not happy with the dragons being so close to it.

June nodded and thanked Angelica as she took a few sips of the soup. When the headmaster came in she looked at him. She placed her soup cup next to her bed made of leaves and gold and stood up from it. ''That creature is made fearsome by the people that simply didn't trust him'' she said as she stood now in front of Draco. ''He is my dragon and you can't change it because he didn't come from your dragon training program'' she said, she turned around and the man could see her burn on her shoulder as she walked over to pick up her soup and then walked to Draco as she sat down next to him.

''And it isn't Angelica's fault, she did mention it as a joke but I took it seriously and I must say, I am thankful for it'' June said. Kaleth looked at the head master. ''My brother deserves a chance to show he is not as fearsome as he was when your ancestors placed him in that cage'' he said with a very calm and deep voice. He laid his tail around Angelica as a protection. June at the rest of her soup and looked at Angelica. ''That soup tastes great, thank you'' she said and laid the cup next to her as she leaned slowly against the wing of Draco.

The golden dragon was fast asleep his wings covering him and eyes snapped open feeling his rider lean on his wings. The dragon unfurled his giant wings and looked at them slightly"well morning to you too" he said slowly. His deep intense blue eyes shine sharply

Angelica smiled nodding "well we will see if she can keep him under control" said the princess elf finishing off the soup

''Oh, good morning Great Dragon'' June said with a smile and because he had moved his wings she now laid on her back with her feet in the air which looked very silly. She sat up and looked at him. ''It wasn't my intention of waking you up.. Eh.. Not this time I mean'' she said and knew she was looking and sounding very silly. She then looked at Angelica and the headmaster. ''I'll learn to keep him in control.. He has a great character you know'' she said with a smile and stood up, she was wearing a top with one shoulder and the shoulder which got the mark was nude. Together with a pair of tight pants which ended just above her knee and a diagonal skirt over that. She looked both nice and ready for a trip on a dragon when she needed to.

The headmaster looked at the now awakened dragon and swallowed. ''If you can learn him to behave, he can stay or else, he is out'' he said. ''If you learn to be not scared because he can see that in your eyes and I believe he can be a real tease..'' June said as defense and looked at Angelica. ''Headmaster, don't you think it would be a good idea to let Angelica train me? She comes from a long line of dragon riders and it is her fault I went up to the mountain'' June said. ''Yes, that is good'' the headmaster said and then walked away.

The great dragon raised an eyebrow slightly at the silly poses and rolled his eyes and growled at the head master "you should talk" the large dragon growled gently shaking his head and gets up slowly and yawned gently fangs and teeth shine in the sunlight. He stood up straight and flapped his wings swiftly as the strong wind was enough to blow over few students and a smaller dragon and the golden dragon then streached and whipped his tail around slowly and smirks happy with himself.

The elf princess raised an eyebrow slightly confused "I guess I could train you on riding......Draco but most classes training you will need to do as well" She advised, she could train her on the bond and how to use it but flight, battle partice that was all in class

June smiled and nodded. ''I am fine with that, I do understand that our bond will need to grow and everything but some guidance on it wouldn't be bad'' she said and looked at Draco with a smile. ''I am thinking that maybe, just if you would feel better with it, we can live in the forest instead of the rooms they have here.. You are pretty big, as the biggest dragon that is known of and well, the room I had did expand but not enough for your size'' she said. ''My family has a little cabin in the woods near a great lake'' she said with a smile.

Keleth looked at Angelica and took her from the ground with his tail and placed her on his back. ''Don't you think it is time for our first flight together?'' he asked and grinned some.
