so the fights we are currently in dont have rank points do they?@ShidenBlades and I are already in a match but I assume it to be an exhibition. Therefore we wouldn't get 25,50,or 100 points right?

I've updated the Ranking portion with a list. If I've missed anyone, let me know and I'll add them in.

If it did it would be funny if my "fight 100 of my characters" gave points to everyone involved. It would bankrupt the point system.

Is there page describing the difference and limits of the three power-levels that can be selected for fighting?

Normal, in general would be unpowered combat. No shooting magic and whatnot.

Powered would be your magic stuff, super technology and things like that.

God would be your top of the line, massive manipulators of magic.

These are the normal T1 Classifications for power levels. I think we were combining UM/MP into a single category.

T1 RM= T1 Realistic Melee. This is the Style that is human against human. With real-life limitations. {e.g. Human capabilities of running, jumping, reaction-time, body integrity, vision, ect.} Ex: Street fighting.

T1 UM= T1 Unrealistic Melee. This is the Style that is an above average human against human that are capable of using things such as Magic attack, Sorcery, Vampirism, Werewolfism. Ex: Underworld.

T1 MP= T1 Moderate Powers. This is the Style that is commonly used now as a more realistic look towards T1 PC. The characters that have special powers, just not ones that have a power that is capable of destroying an entire planet. Powers such as elemental abilities are acceptable, but if there is a power that is capable of using all elements you must keep that power in a moderate use. Ex: Bleach, and Naruto.

T1 PC= T1 Powered Characters. This Style is the most difficult of them all to learn. The complexity of the characters abilities and powers are what get them called "God Moders". The depth put into one character, with the powers, abilities, explanations of terrain, dimension, sub-abilities, character background, and traits will lead an inexperienced opponent to believe there is an invincibility about the character.

in general, they'll fit in normal,
powered or god. So you won't have to worry.

Recette is stuck between Realistic and Unrealistic
Niks is stuck between Unrealistic and Moderate (depending on skins he nabbed too)
Fade is roughly Moderate.
Are is between Moderate and Powered, depending on some issues.

We, however are using a hybrid - which more or less combines both MP and UM.

I think that putting the explination somewhere easier to find would be beneficial.

I feel like the tier system here is too vague to realistically be applied to a lot of characters, though that's probably most indicative of my background in combat-based roleplay rather than the general case.

The system that I (and others who originate from where I do) use categorises characters by the scope of their power more specifically than the existing tier system posted above does. Part of me feels that the bands between tiers aren't concrete enough or small enough to realistically differentiate between characters that broadly fit into a given tier at opposite ends of the spectrum - but upon closer scrutiny of the system I'm used to using, the problem still exists even if it is lessened in comparison to the system used here.

Following this, it may be worth having the most experienced members of the combat section come together to decide upon and create a new tier system (assuming that such has not already been done)?
