Gunners are always needed, they have the spatial awareness on those tougher hunts and a good one knows when a well placed bullet or arrow can un-stun an ally or wake them up from sleep effects.

Probably have the newb not have a set weapon yet, be going "How do I use these things?!"

As for the other, probably allow them to use to use greatsword and/or a bowgun(havent decided which)

Speaking of which...I love the bowguns, hate the bow.

No, I ended up going out of habit and started th characters, only to realize I went down my new but habitual method of making twins with a different aged sibling.
