Victoria watched the dragoness masquerade as the goblin's god. It was insulting to watch. Even if the goblin believed in gods, there are no gods in this multiverse. Those so called gods of Theros are only powerful beings and they use their powers only to amuse themselves. For this dragon to claim the divinity of a god was blasphemy that was insulting to Victoria. Regardless she remained silent. If her feelings would take the best of her, she would not survive the repercussions. She might be able to take the dragon but not if every planeswalker here rises to the dragoness' defense. She bite her lip to keep from speaking and drew her dagger playfully. She flipped it in her hand. She swallowed her anger enough to make her think sharper. She began to become honestly interested where this interrogation would lead them.
Grud looked at the second woman to address him and tried to understand what she asked, but was interrupted by the goddess' request. He Turned and pointed, quickly scurrying off in the indicated direction. He disappeared in the low brush, but didn't move very fast so keeping up by sound and the sight of moving branches was easy enough. And then he suddenly stopped, or rather was stopped, as the brush around him erupted in a flurry of rapid movement and high-pitched squeaks. When the group caught up to him, he lay buried beneath a pile of feasting rats. None of which seemed to pleased at the intrusion of yet more beings. With one last squeal they surged forward towards the group.
Mot, content to walk in the middle of the group, sent forth his summoned Gatewarden, and two just summoned Deathcult Rouges to hold off the swarm while until the others could gather their defenses, or plan their attack, as each being must choose. They met the rats, and held them , though more rats were coming and it was obvious that these three defenders wouldn't last long despite the gatewardens's apparent ability to kill with a touch.
Fiora sighed before her hand swept forth, casting a spell before a Wall was summoned. It was combined with blue and white mana to create a 'Wall of Denial'. It was a study thing and would definitely hold off several of these rats but against the whole lot, it would easily fall.
All she could do was buy time, and so from the air she tapped into its energy. Weaving and stringing along the blue mana that was there, turning it into blue chains that flew into the rats. It had only been able to stop a few due to their petite size but her spell were mostly effective on a single person that was bigger.
Since her blue spell was useless against this amount of opponents, she saved her excess mana and began to focus collecting the white mana for her next spells.
Wall of Denial - (0,8) - Defending Force Bubble - 0/4 - Fiora
Victoria saw the rats and laughed as they devoured the little goblin. It was a good death and a funny way to go. She would not have imagined the goblin dying in such a manner. Honestly, She imagined she would cause the goblins demise herself. Maybe incineration or exploding from the inside out. Now, that opportunity was never going to happen.
As the rats rushed towards her and the group, She summoned up mana to herself. She refined the mana into a bolt of electricity like when she first awake on this world. The lightining struck the nearest rat then bounced wildly towards another. Both rats breathed their last. The thrill of the kill brought a smile to her face. It was a shame, these rats were not smart enough to understand what death was. Its bliss, its terror, nor its dark majesty.
Victoria knew what she could do, not only for the fight against these vermin but to impress the group. She began to draw mana into herself and began a summoning incantation.
Smoothly keeping pace with the little pest as it scuttled onward towards the brink of what she hoped might have been a possible sort of clue that would help her discern exactly where she was. Oddly, the others followed, some of them fumingly towards her even; but the Dragoness didn't care in the least. She was not one to bend like a mewling quim to the fury of others. She had never been such, in fact. Nor would she ever be.
Yet once the goblin was suddenly devoured by a horde of ill-tempered rats, she clicked her tongue annoyingly. So much for a hopeful source of information, and passively she watched on as others summoned defenses and the like.
Standing back, as the four colorful birds she possessed still seemed to float and hang about her form with their beautiful hues of rainbow feathers, she decided to take action at long last. In the distance, it began with a spark. With an overloading sense of red magic that ruptured through the air, falling stars seemed to collapse from the heavens by the hundreds as the fields of rats bore down upon them all.
In a destructive cacophony of an overloaded Mizzium Mortars, hell itself seemed to tear skyward as shockwaves shook the very foundations of the earth. All around them, those that were not her creatures were either likely heavily damaged or completely incinerated in the wrathful display of a Dragon's prowess. Perhaps she had gone a little overkill, but it was simply about efficiency.
Never once had she sworn fealty or loyalty to this group, she owed them nothing; just like how they owed nothing to her.
Striding through the field of dead and incinerated, anything that twitched in its weakened state would find a crackling bolt of lightning to aptly finish them off. Yet in spite of the gore and chaotic horror that lay before her, she smiled. The scent of burning and charred flesh reminded her of home.
After all, Dragons were certainly not known for their mercy.
Photina was awestruck. "Miss, was that all really necessary? Destroying all summoned and wild creatures about you as such is dangerous with allies." Her tone was not harsh, nor angry. She was more curious than anything. What gain does this dragoness gain by taking out allied creatures as well as foes? Does she mean well to us, or should we take cover from her? Photina stayed calm and polite, but readied a blocking spell if needed.
She noticed that another planeswalker had been using lightning that hit two of the creatures. Of course, this was before the dragoness killed most every creature anywhere near her. That was a pretty impressive spell. Photina couldn't help but compliment the lass' skill. A little reckless, though. Had Photina had warning of the lass' attempts, she could have protected the lass with a shield of some sort. Oh, well. Nothing can be done now.
Mot was moderately annoyed with the dragon's casual display of power, not because it destroyed his creatures as effectively as it killed the rats, minions often had to pay the price of serving a dangerous master and this was no different. The extra attention that would be gathered though, that bothered him. He hated being put into the focus of another, and he felt even now that others were watching. He sighed, why couldn't they just go about their business discretely? Oh well, for better or for worse he'd cast his lot, though whether or not he remained with this motley group remained to be seen.
Mot stood quietly, enjoying the memories of an old swamp, burned by natural fires, and drew upon it's energies to better prepare himself for whatever was still watching. He didn't have to wait long to find out.
Teysa was the obvious target, walking through the carnage with pride. The goblin tribe she sought, aimed for her first, fearing the same fate as the rats, but encouraged by their leader and his two wizards. Suddenly the sound of a rhythmless rattle erupts from a thicket of brambles off to the party's left, while nine separate sparks streak towards Teysa (nine instances of 1 damage, from various sources, being dealt directly to Teysa). A howling goblin bursts from the hedge, followed closely by a small horde of other very angry goblins (18 goblins coming out of the hedge altogether). They split up choosing targets apparently at random (rolled a d6 for each attacker, and just went down the list of players in order of their application).
Dread Cultist Mot, the first up in the list, is being attacked by a Bloodcrazed Goblin, a Goblin Brawler, and a Goblin Brigand. Thanks to Teysa's little stunt his defenses are gone and he suffers several injuries as he tries to defend himself. Next up is the Black Angel, and she faces a Bloodcrazed Goblin, a Goblin Brigand, and the Goblin Bushwhacker. The Kind Stranger, is less fortunate, and faces three Goblin Arsonists, a Goblin Berserker, and a Goblin Brawler. Her wall still stands, however, the rattling noises necessitate that a second creature joins the wall before they can block any of her opponents. The Chaotic Resurgent, is also being attacked, but only by a Bloodcrazed Goblin, a Goblin Arsonist, and a Goblin Berserker. The Chains of the Sea, is being attacked by a single Goblin Brigand. The remaining Bloodcrazed Goblin and two Goblin Berserkers trip and fall as they attempt to cross the charred remains of the rats.
Teysa, and other sufficiently experienced planeswalkers, might recognize that many of the attacking Goblins would not be felled by an overloaded Mizzium Mortars, this was a special bunch alright. The leader was likely to know the information Teysa sought, and she might be tempted to assume the Goblin Bushwhacker led the group, but that assumption would quickly dissipate as she saw how resilient and strong these goblins were. The true leader hid within the hedge with the goblins that had shot Teysa, only moments ago.
Each character effectively has a life total of 30.
All of the attacking goblins have the following enhancement: +2/+3
All remaining goblins, except the leader, have this enhancement: +1/+3
Victoria had paused her Summoning spell to watch mizzium mortars devastate the vermin. It was a beautiful display of lethal prowess, however it lacked the personal touch that Victoria would have liked.
When the goblins erupted and attacked, Victoria finished her summoning. She called forth her Deathpact Angel. The black winged angel dove from on high swinging a beautiful golden scythe. Much to Victoria's surprise, her angel missed the nimble goblin bushwacker. She drew her knife to try to protect herself. She was able to disarm the bloodcrazed goblin before her angel recovered and returned to protect her master. Togather Victoria and her angel finished off the bloodcrazed goblin. She took the hits from the other two.
Fiora looked at her target, a charging goblin and a single one. Thankfully that was all that was opposing her so with a snap of her fingers, the Goblin which was opposing her was consumed in a bright blue glow. It fell to the ground, petrified and lying on the ground motionless. Hard and solid, the crystallized creature would be no problem for her any more. She smiled at the goblin which shown sadness to it, the enchantment would sooner or latter disappear and the thing would walk once more when this ended. She would not harm a harmless creature now and left it to support her allies that were in trouble/
Mustering the mana available to her, her hands shot forward to the Dread Cultist's opponents. Freezing the Bloodcrazed Goblin, solidifying it turning the creature to a statue. It fell to the ground like her previous target for the spell and the creature would be rendered helpless as well as useless to the battle as well.
"You should summon a creature really, I will help you for now" Fiora said blocking one of the opposing goblins with her and the wall she had summoned. The goblin she was blocking would most likely hit the wall first before her. Along with the protective bubble around her she wouldn't take much damage if the goblin got through somehow. The Cultist should had enough time to summon a creature without much interruption as, only a single enemy remained unoccupied for him to handle.
[Active] Wall of Denial -> 0,8 [Equipped]Force Bubble -> Fiora
Aimlessly, she walked through the burning field, enjoying the scent of fire and brimstone that permeated past her senses while the colorful birds she possessed continued to flock about her. Rats were always fun to burn, easy to crush beneath her heel, they troubled her little.
What did trouble her was nine annoying pricks of a needle that dotted her side.
Reeling from the attack, a low, reverberating snarl crept forward from the chaotic one's lips as her gaze swiftly shifted to see where it had come from. Not only that, but a horde of Goblins also came from the bushes in an outright ambush. Three of which sharply changed their direction and now rushed towards her. Each of them gleeful and filled with little more than stupidity and rage as they began to close the distance.
Needless to say, Teysa was not amused.
"You will know fear." She spoke simply at first, her voice rising in volume, even though she didn't seem to be yelling. Suddenly from her feet, a ring of liquid fire erupted outward across the ground as she disappeared into it. Forcing those who would have assaulted her to stop, stupidly wondering where she had gone. Frantically looking about as the searing liquid kept them at bay, the Goblins shrank back.
Suddenly, an absolutely massive winged figure wreathed in white hot fire erupted from the center of the circle. Hurtling skyward, it appeared almost as if were to simply ascend to the sapphire heavens above until its direction sharply changed and came descending back to the Earth. Like a falling star, the flamed figure would rocket downward, only to spread a pair of absolutely massive wings. With a deafening crash, trees bent and shattered, and the wind whipped violently about as the massive Dragon came into view.
With a savage roar that shook the heavens, a sudden Blood Rush effect overcame her as she nearly doubled in viciousness and size. So large was she, that with the spread of her wings she could nearly blot out the sun. Towers and castles would be dwarfed by her size. A massive, ferocious, and absolutely monstrous Dragon now descended down upon them all.
Teysa has Transformed into her 5/5 Dragon State, and used the Blood Rush effect from a Ghor Clan Rampager. Effectively making her a 9/9 With Haste, Trample, and Double Strike.
Loyalty Counters: 3
The three that had attacked her suddenly found themselves plucked from the earth by her massive Talons and each of them thrown at the bushes where she had been so cowardly attacked from. Their fortunes mattered not, as their bodies would just shatter on impact.
Charging forward low across the skies, Teysa would bring the full force of her massive size and weight down upon those who hid in the Bushes. Normally she would try to turn these fools; but to her, if they were foolish enough to try and attack her, a Dragon, then their lives would be forfeit. Humanoids may forgive, Plainswalkers or not. However, a Dragon certainly does not. Nor do they forget.
"You will all BURN."
With a sharp inhale as she came crashing down before the Bushes where the others hid, the Dragon suddenly inhaled deeply. A deep, monstrous fire rumbled in the depths of her lungs, embers of ferocity smoldered and churned deep within. They would gain a momentary reprieve from her assault, only to suddenly have Dragon breathe forth a massive wave of horrific fire. Fire that could instantaneously turn flesh, bone, and armor to ash. Let alone the pitiful bushes that they had hidden within.
Dragonfyre did not discriminate. All would be crushed beneath a Dragon's wrath.
Seeing the on-rush of goblins in her direction, Photina decided to activate the blocking spell, Healing Leaves, on herself as she had readied in accord with her innate bird summoning ability to buy her some time while she gathered the mana necessary to *call* the four birds to help protect her. She looks around at all the others fighting and realized that this might be it. I have no adequate defences. I know of none strong enough to effectively destroy these foul creatures. Aye, this may be my end. Then I must protect others, once I can reduce my own threat.
With a surge of energy from the many plains she has travelled (plains as in fields, not planes) to summon Orim, one of her closest advisors in the art of healing. By the time the goblins got to Orim and Photina, Orim managed to use a spell of his own to add some extra blocking power to the summoned bird, who, along with Orim herself, jumped in front of the Arsonist, since the goblins' music was making them charging harder than normal. Orim was immediately slain, being charred and sent flying past the arsonist. The bird somehow survived this barrage from the arsonist, who shot a ball of flame as he died at the bird, killing it. The other two goblins had no problem reaching Photina as she had no defences left.
Now, on to help others.
HP: 25 (3 damage blocked by Healing Leaves) Loyalty points: 4 (still. None gained nor expended)
Victoria growled as she rammed her dagger deep into the soft spot under the jaw of the goblin brigand when it tried to back away to ready another attack. The Deathpact Angel swiftly beheaded the goblin bushwhacker that was harassing Victoria at the same time. Victoria looked at her goblin as it squirmed, "I am getting tired of wasting energy on your kind. Your death is sweet..." Victoria grabbed the goblin's skull, "But you are just making me mad." She tossed the goblin aside as and let it die from blood loss.
No longer in immediate danger, Victoria scanned the battlefield. She saw that the dragoness had reverted to her natural state. She was torching everything in sight. Fortunately, the dragon killed the goblins that stumbled over the rat corpse. Victoria noticed the merfolk made movement to protect Mot. That was perfectly alright with her. Of all the planeswalkers gathered here, only Mot seemed to be able to rival her. The dragon might be trouble, but the dragon seemed tame when not provoked. What caught Victoria's attention as she gazed across the battlefield with lethal intent was the danger the Angel girl was in.
Victoria pulled mana from some of the blackest regions of the multiverse. From the very swamps in which Victoria first lost herself, her ideals, her own name. In anger, she raised her hand and cast her dark spell. A haunting moan of a undead cut through the air. As the spell resolved, two undead zombies appeared around angel, Photina. Together they struck down one of the goblins harassing her. The goblin was startled to badly that the undead appearing before it to do effectivly attack back. Victoria's DeathPact Angel swooped in and took out the other one for Photina. Victoria was too far for her creatures to defend her, but Photina was protected for now.
Fiora's wall of denial defended Mot long enough for Teysa's flames to scorch the goblins to death. The wall was damaged but not destroyed. As the last of the Goblins died a horrible burning deaths, the air grew silent. However, Goblins were not the only thing that observing the battlefield. The ground shook as footsteps echoed across what remained of the jungle. Bursting through a pair of dragon-scorched trees, A massive beast emerges (30/30 Deathbringer Thoctar). Spikes bulged out from beneath heavy armor plating. It roared threateningly to the planeswalker.
Victoria was surprised to see the beast appear. This creature smelt of the undead. It must have been nearby when the battle started, called to the sweet scent of death. Victoria called out to Photina, "Hey, Angel. I recall you saying your name was Photina. I, Victoria Ultimara, Have need of your healing gifts. I am out of mana, but I have a plan. Keep me alive while I complete the summoning." Victoria began her summoning. Her two undead clawed at their throats and chests and collapsed as the animus was pulled from their bodies. The Deathpact angel also collapsed in pain as life was rudely pulled from its body. As a great portal opened up above Victoria, she coughed up blood and her skin broke leaking fresh blood down her left arm. Out of the Portal, The Demon of Death's Gate climbs out. Being among the most powerful creature on the battlefield, It took up a stance to fight the Deathbringer Thoctar.
The sound of chaos and combat reached Marcellus' ears as he wandered through the jungle. He'd found himself on a different plane that day, his previous home having been torn asunder by some force he could not recall. And as he attempted to map his way through the underbrush in which he found himself, he heard a series of cries, clashes, and death throes, as well as the noise of two, no... three great beasts crashing through the undergrowth. Those noises meant someone, somewhere was fighting nearby- and that meant multiple things in and of itself. Were they friendly? Had others survived and been transported here, like him? Or was this a part of this new world? Either way, it sounded as though somebody was in trouble. And that was reason enough for him to step in. With a muttering and a call to the coasts of the land he once knew, a blue field formed around the Knight and took shape, forming a spectral drake around him. With a flap of the translucent wings he was airborne, flying toward the sounds as quickly as he could.
"Whoa... That is a BIG Deathbringer..."
As he came upon the scene of carnage, a few things were made clear to Marcellus at once; firstly, that there were several individuals that seemed to be allied against the Deathbringer. Secondly, that all of them seemed to be foreign to the world. And thirdly, one of them was an Angel. The same sort of Angel, in fact, that he once called his comrades. And that dragon... it couldn't be HER, could it? Either way, these people were definitely not from this world, and were definitely in need of some help. So, without further ado, he folded the Drake Umbra's wings and plummeted to the ground, landing just to the side of the Demon of Death's Gate.
"Sorry to intrude..." he said as he landed, "But it looks as though you could use a hand."
Not long after he landed, an ethereal soldier spawned at the front next to him, sword drawn, and ready for battle!
Photina hears the female who called herself Victoria call to her, asking for assistance. As she looked over to respond, Victoria was taking damage from her own summoning. Seeing an enemy start to cast its own spell, Photina quickly countered, pulling the spell's essence from the enemy caster, converting it into healing energy, and sent it to Victoria to help her wounds. "I apologize for the lack of health I could supplement, for I tend to nullify more damage than I heal. I will gladly keep you from getting hurt further."
At that moment, Photina used another one of her memorized spells, sending a small protective aura to Victoria, which then bounced off the female and to her own creature. She readied the rest of her mana to regenerate the previously sacrificed Deathpact Angel, adding more defences, or damage, to Victoria's arsenal. Panting, Photina says "that is all I can do for now. I will ready more protection for you as soon as I can."

A large groan could be heard as a large beast around the size of intimidating 7 feet could be seen coming to the battlefield, and dragging along it was two tiny cute little saplings that following it mindlessly. The large tree seemed friendly to most of the group however, gave the dragon girl a deathly stare knowing that a glamour was disguising her true form. However, it sensed a greater threat at the moment, which was the Zombie Beast that was surprising in power as it had never seen one as strong as this one in a long time. So wasting no time, the great tree pulled forth the nearby mana and the remaining green mana that was available from the burned vegetation and shot forth a spell. With a thunderous clap, a there was two large walls, one being significantly larger that one of them, as it started glowing. The smaller wall of the duo was an Overgrown Battlement while the larger one was a Tree of Redemption, which was swelling with light. Its branches twisted and turned spreading out dramatically as its sturdiness at a glance was obvious. While the less wall intertwined and melded with the large tree supporting the branches and structure of the thing overall.
Despite it using its mana, the Tree Creature would not rest and it would have no problem using its own magical abilities as it opened it mouth but nothing could be heard for the others. At least for them, as tiny pieces of grass began to sprout from the stone with some effort and began futilely wrapping the large creature with its tiny vines. More or less being a tiny annoyance to the beast of that size as the tiny vines would not hold back the strength of the undead beast. With the tiny vines slowly wrapping the beast's legs, the tree clasped its hands before another sapling fell to the ground have three of the baby forest seeds near the tree glowing with its older sibling using their minor magicks to support Sylvanas while also reinforcing the Overgrown Battlement negating some damage if it took some.
If the beast did attack Slyvanas it would go through the two erected walls, first taking down the supporting Battlement before having to go again against the Redemption Tree.

Fiora, Chains of the Sea
Fiora tapped into her herself before a circle of blue light enveloped before before dissipating, extending her hands chains flew from her hands, surrounding the beast and clasping the monstrous thing down to the ground for the moment. It would not be able to attack, defend or even use any of its special powers while these chains where holding it down. Restricting the beast movement, rendering it defensive and offensive capabilities near useless for the moment she had her magic around it.
Then piercing her concentrating was a monsterous groan... 'Was that another monster we will have to deal with? I can only hold this one off at the moment...' She thought to herself, as she maintained the chains maintained on the undead creature. It was fighting against her but she was managing to hold the thing down, and from the side of her eyes she saw the monstrous tree thing was on their side, as it summoned forth impressive creatures that green mana was know for but it seemed it focused on defensive more than offensive. She then gave a little gasp as she saw tiny vine surround the beast as well helping her secure down the beast but it seemed to do little good as the vines were small and weren't suited for this mountainous region.
So until her allies could do anything else, she and the tree were for the most part rendering the beast harmless for the meanwhile. Buying time and single spells were her specialty, and having a single powerful beast like this was her area that she dominated. Holding the thing off was all she can do until the rest of the group thought of something to destroy the large monstrous beast.
The Deathbringer Thoctar roared in anger as it fought against the magical prison that Fiora had conjured up around it. The effort of Fiora had impressed Victoria, it looked to her that someone had finally done something useful. Everyone had been so defensive. Victoria almost had to switch to a more defensive strategy herself but the assistance of Photina had helped tremendously. She had prevented the death of Victoria's deathpact angel somehow. Victoria was planning to have to revive the angel once her magic restored itself, But now her angel and demon were all ready to fight. Victoria quickly gathered her mana and cast another summon. A mana materialized into a living breathing dragon. It seemed that the dragoness was not the only one who could control dragons. Victoria's Archwing Dragon soared rapidly through the air attacking the undead beast trapped in its prison. The dragon was joined by the Deathpact angel and the Demon at death gate. The Thoctar took considerable damage but in retaliation launched its spikes at its attackers. All three of Victoria's creatures were lethally wounded.
Victoria called out to the others around her, "Now! Everyone Including y'all new to the battle. Strike the Beast while it is wounded. I cannot finish it by myself." Victoria looked over the two new planeswalkers. She had never seen a treefolk with a spark before. The multiverse was truly a marvelous place. The other new comer was a man who's appearance intrigued Victoria. He was looked like a front line fighter dressed in that aura of magic. There was something of divinity in him that Victoria felt conflicted about. She could not place it. The Treefolk had established a quick defense and the man had only asked for forgiveness to intervene. This entire group, if it did not fall apart, was very unique and interesting. If nothing else mattered, that was the reason Victoria would stay with this group. A masked man, An Auramancer, A dragon, a walking tree, a child of the sea, An true Angel, and a master assassin. If this worked out, it would be a story for the ages.
As Victoria took a up a defensive stance while waiting to the others to finish off the undead beast, a shining light appeared beside her. It formed into the distinctive shape of the Black Sun, symbol of Orzhova. Victoria swore under her breath. She was being summoned to another plane in the middle of a fight. This group had her interest but she had obligations elsewhere. Ravinca exactly. Seeing that her creatures all died trying to destroy the Thoctar, Victoria looked at the group, "I will return to reclaim our home..." Without another word, she planeswalked and left the group behind.

Deathbringer Thoctar is currently 30/12. Having taken damage from Archwing dragon, Deathpact Angel, and Demon of Death's Gate.
With a wild combination of efforts, the absolutely monstrous creature that had emerged and through an absolutely magnificent combination of efforts it had been greatly weakened. As Teysa circled about in the heavens above, she saw her opportunity. With another roar that shattered the very air about her as her wings folded inward and dove in from the sky. With the blood rush effects still ever present, and her already monstrous strength added alongside it, the Resurgent One charged towards the target.
Teysa is a 12/12 with Double Strike/Trample/Haste
She struck first, she always struck first.
Her colossal size and weight crashing into monstrous creature and tackling it onto the ground. Her magnificent scaled wings spread wide and kicked up hurricane force winds as her massive talons forced it onto the earth. Teeth that were the size and sharpness of swords bit down upon its neck and promptly tore out the throat of the creature. Flesh and bone came with it as the monster screamed and struggled.
Teysa's gut once again rumbled with embers as she inhaled sharply, and with her exhale, liquid dragonfire poured onto the creature. With such, as superheated breath poured down upon its skull, it then stopped. Everything stopped, the calamitous conflict came to an abrupt end, and as the dust settled there stood a humanoid dragoness atop the massive corpse.
Even she was injured however, having taken some hits from the goblin rabble, but it didn't matter. She had sensed someone else. There was someone else newly attuned to their party that she knew all too well. A wielder of Holy, Control, and Fire. With a brilliant smile, she hopped down from the gargantuan corpse and ran to him.
The dead monster didn't matter anymore. Not at all to the Dragon.
The gap quickly closed between Marcellus and Teysa and at the last gap she dove to him. Wrapping her arms about his neck and pulling him closer into a warm embrace. Releasing her stranglehold on the Plainswalker, she offered him a warm smile as she leaned upward to lightly brush her lips against his cheek in a heartfelt welcome.
"It has been too long, you foolish Angel! How have you been? What have you been up to as of late?"
Mot had been distracted by the new arrivals, his natural suspicion wasting precious time, thankfully he wasn't needed for the rest of the fight. Having a dragon in the vicinity made things less of problem tactically speaking. Reviewing his readied spells Mot saw he would have had little to offer anyway, his creatures having been destroyed, he had only sorceries he was reluctant to waste.
Mot was pleasantly surprised that the new comers were ... at the least non-hostile. He hoped to find a place to rest soon, as the surroundings were somewhat discouraging, showing only the vast expanse of vegetation, even the mountains seemed to be covered in growth, though stone faces were visible on the steeper sides. What? The dragon... had a thing for angels okay, good to know. And one of us has been summoned to some other plane. Mot was inclined to follow, but he still knew nothing of the events that had brought them all here in the first place. Perhaps the wandering tree knew of this plane and where they might find shelter. If there was shelter nearby there might also be some answers.
I am not familiar with this plane, much less this jungle. Can you direct me to a nearby village where I may find shelter and nourishment for the evening or at least tell me where I am?
Shyvannas looked at the Dread Cultist before nodded in confirmation, and it raised it wooden arms, lifting it and pointed. The direction the tree was pointing lead off the mountain and through the forests, where from this height you could see a small quaint town. Having several dozen buildings and visible patches of farming land filled with various crops, and barely you can make out a well in the town as well, with several penned up cows onto the side.
"Over there is a village that is not too far which you weary travelers can rest at. I know not much of the town, however it may suit your needs for the time being until you have everything figured out. Briar Glen is the name of the town, and is fairly small but big enough to support themselves and other travelers if they come through. If you need a guide, I can provide you that through the forests if you wish"
The tree offered it help and guidance generously to the man, looking back at the rest of the group before at him. The large tree seemed interested than such a large amount of planeswalkers were gathered in a single place at the same time and was interested in what they were seeking but politely did not pry on that. Besides, if there was any treat the group made upon this world it would be the dragon who would burn everything down, so it provided another reason for the tree to accompany them until they left its home plane. The other people of the group didn't seemed to troublesome for the tree to be worried about, as they seemed to display not many destructive actions such as the dragon who was spontaneous on its decisions.
Photina bowed gratefully to the treefolk who had aided both in their fight and their need for food and shelter. Seeing this treeman as no threat, since it seemed to care for its forest and not much outside it, Photina spoke to him.
"Thank you, kind sir, for pointing out a place where we may rest up. We know not what happened to our home plane, for we awoke in yonder rock formation. We seek information about the plane in which we have lost. It matters not if twas fate or deities, but they must smile upon us to lend such gracious help in our quest to find answers. There may be some inclined to seek revenge, yet none have offered a name, nor portrait, to place such blame on. We simply seek truth and to return home."
The angel looked around the field that served as the battleground, noticing how little it resembled the natural habitat it undoubtably was before the heated battle. Photina focused back on the treefolk before her and wholeheartedly smiled, grateful of his help and information so far.
