As Shinzo glared at Aya the Captain appeared before them and basically told Shinzo off for calling Aya a bitch...really? it was harmless! Tch...whatever it didn't matter. Shinzo just shrugged it off then spoke "Well then my apologies...Perhaps I was a bit harsh with my words there, I just don't like being used as a crash mat is all..." Shinzo practically ignored Aya, he didn't even look in her direction when she spoke and instead was focused on the Captain...after all he had the most noticeable presence. Shinzo followed after the Captain and thought to himself for a moment as he followed "I'm sure of it now...If I wasn't before then I am now...I want to stand against one of these Captains, I want to fight against one...this power is crushing and they're holding back! I've got a long way to go before I get close to that power but I will get there one day and face one of them in combat and take their position...after all...I hate that feeling of being crushed! These bastards probably don't even know what it feels like...I'll make them feel it...I'll watch them fall to their knee's as my power crushes them!" At that point Shinzo clenched his hands into fists

As Nishi got closer to the water she soon realised she was falling in and before she could do anything she was under the water, seconds later a large splash hit the water as Yuuki fell in. Nishi then surfaced, listening as Yuuki spoke which caused her to rub the back of her head and laugh nervously "My bad~ Sorry. You didn't need to try stop me from falling in, it's the normal sort of thing that happens to me...sorry for getting you wet" Nishi then listened as Nene spoke and pouted and looked away "No it's not! I just saw a pretty fish is all and it tricked me into falling in! It was the fishes fault!" Nishi said as she then climbed out, her clothes now soaking wet which caused her to sigh "This could take awhile to dry...damn you fish!" She said pointing at the pond with a failed attempt at a angry and threatening voice

Yakima walked out to the courtyard, where a large number of shinigami had collected. He sighed First those now all these recruita...goddammit He walked out to the front of the gathering, his arms behind his back. He cleared his throat "I am the captain of this squad, Yakima Saiyo. I know some of you may be unhappy with these new changes of recruitment. However, that should not deter you from joining. The experience we gain is hands-on experience, something training can never make-up for. We'll be having have spars just to gauge everyones strength and what role they could fit into the squad. If you need any help or wish to find someone to spar, then find some of the shinigami watching over these exercises. Begin" Yakima turned away from the crowd as they began to spar with each other "Now for you two troublemakers. I have a feeling someone will get hurt if I let you spar with them so I have something else planned. Either you two can spar each other or the two of you can spar me If they sparred each other, than he was fine with that. They woukd spar with a bokken with things getting slightly hectic at worse. But he had something more fun planned if they chose the latter.

Zento sighed, it appeared that no one was in at the moment. He could have sweared that he heard voices, maybe they were in the general area. Should I leave or wait for them to come back. Zento through furiously, looking for a solution, and answer to his question. If he stayed, he might catch them walking in, if he left, he might have missed them. He racked his brain, the question and possible scenarios bouncing around in his head. Would it really have been bad if he left, no, it would have just been a matter of finding a person to help him out. A small ark of electricity shocked Zento, "Damn, cat, I get it!" he yelled in anger as he jerked his arm away once again. It was Kazumas' way of telling him he was overthinking things.

Zento heard a voice call out from behind him, he glanced back and noticed woman behind him. He listened her with feigned interests as she explained to him where exactly the Captain was. Zento smiled, at least he finally found his answer, waiting would have been stupid of him. "Thanks." He said as he followed her out and around the barrack. As they walked, Zento noticed that she was not a very social person. He still tried to make small talk either way, "So, what's the Captain like?" he said with a smile, hopping to get her to say something.

Sai took hold of both sealed Zanpakutos, her smile jolting into a smirk for a split second before returning back into a soft smile at what Sotaro had said while handing over his blade. She may pay too much attention to people's words and actions but that was one of the many reasons why she held a Captain position; her observation skills and how she puts that information to use is indeed one of Sai's strong points. "I will" She responded to the tall Shinigami before shunpo-ing back to give the two a little more distance. Looking down, Sai scanned the both Zanpakutos, leaving them inside their sheaves of course as she didn't want to take them out without permission, not that she needed to. After giving both sheaved blades a once-over, Sai returned her eyes to the main event as both Shinigami's readied themselves and started their spar.

The female Squad Thirteen member made sure she walked a little forward in front of the other Shinigami as she lead him quietly. The man then spoke up, much to the female's distaste since she wasn't utterly comfortable with conversing with new people but she was always one to try and help anyone in need. However, since this guy asked her a question, it would of been rude for her to ignore him. "W-well... um.." She started, stopping herself to think of what to say before continuing to speak. She sounded a little nervous at first but managed to mask that as she continued talking since she had thought of what to say. "Captain Yoshimasuto is very nice and kind and is a really good Captain... and um, we're almost there" Was all she said before quieting herself once again. To her relief, they had found the Captain a couple of minutes later. "Captain Yoshi!" The female called, attracting Sai's attention.

"Oh hello Hinen! What did Squad Four say? Is it going to be Okay?" Sai's face tinted with concern as the female Shinigami approached her. A smile suddenly shot across the girl's face. "Yup, everything is going to be fine! A member there said they'll take care of it and later I'm going to go back to set it free" Sai returned Hinen's smile with her own, abolishing her concerned look to replaced it with a grateful one. "That's great! I'm glad everything went well. So, is this a friend of your's Hinen?" Sai asked, looking towards the Shinigami she had brought with her. "Ermm, he's someone I found outside your office, he was looking for you so I offered to bring him to you" Hinen responded before stepping aside so Sai could get a good look at the guy. "I see. Well hello and welcome to Squad Thirteen! I'm Captain Yoshimasuto, you may call me Captain Yoshi, How may I help you Shinigami?" Sai continued to smile warmly as she spoke to the newcomer.

Being led outside, they looked at all the other possible recruits which made Aya tilt her head and giggle. "Man they waited so politely and we just went right in." She said giggling as the captain then gave everyone a speech before telling them to spar. Yet before she could go pick out someone, he gave both Shinzo and her specific choices. One was to spar with each other, so they didn't hurt anyone else which made Aya pout. "Not my fault i'm a stong girl." She mumbled as he then mentioned both of them sparring against him, a light shone in her eye as she looked at Shinzo. "Now I know we got a dispute, well more so you have one with me, but! We must let it drop for now, we must drop it long enough to wreck a captain. What do you say? Are we going to be tag partners for now?" Aya said holding her hand out grinning ear to ear.

Zento could tell that the girl was not a talker. She would have much rather walked quietly than have a well drawn out conversation. Zento did not feel offended, despite the twinge of pain he felt when he could feel her distaste. Zento shrugged and listened to her answer his question. The Captains name was Yoshimasuto, he wondered if he could nickname her Yoshi, but it would be illogical to believe that she would like that, or already have it as a nickname. The rest of her explanation was useless and pretty stringy when it came to detail. Kind and good was used to describe someone when you did not really know them to well. It really did not matter, they were almost there, at least according to the girl.

Zento was a little startled when the girl called out to the Captain. She had called her Yoshi, Zento sighed, he knew that he was not the only one who thought of such a nickname. He watched the Captain walk over with he usual straight and serious face. He did not pay attention the the greetings between the female and the Captain. The Captain then introduced herself, even through he already new her name, that might have sounded weird to someone else, that's why he did not tell her.

"Nice to meet you Captain Yoshi, my name is Zento Ray, I have been directed, and chose to join Squad 13." He said to the Captain with feigned excitement. He meant no disrespect, he just wasn't and happy, bubblely guy.

Shi lowered her stance a little as Sotaro told her to prepare herself, the bokkens tip pressing against the ground due to its height. She stared down the other shinigami right before he used shunpo to close the distance, his attack kicking off their duel! Shi's eyes went wide as he moved at such speed towards her, causing her to let go of her sword with one of her hands to take a step back. However as she did her bokkens tip caught the ground which brought it standing up to block the attack like a wall, and within that single moment Shi's expression did in fact change from one of shock to a cunning grin! With her other hand taken back she had the chance to hide the kido out of his view, and with her foot back she was able to step right back in to gain distance and attack him with it. "Bakudō #8 - Seki!" She thrust her palm with the glowing blue kido right towards Sotaro's chest to try and blast him away.

Shinzo continued to follow the Captain, a little in thought until he reached the courtyard where many other recruits were stood. It was odd just how many people there were...clearly this whole plan of getting more Shinigami into the three Squads with the lowest Shinigami count was working. Shinzo then stopped as he listened the Captain speak, he wouldn't let them spar with the others...and really Shinzo wasn't interested in sparring Aya...but the last option...to spar him...this literally put a glint in his eyes as he knew already what he wanted...once again he seemingly ignored Aya as he spoke "I think it'd be best to spar with you...Sounds a lot more interesting" Shinzo knew they'd lose but even still! He could experience the power of a Captain first hand!...how incredible it'd be...he could learn just what he had to aim for! this was the perfect opportunity

He watched her expression with his one eye as it turned into a shocked expression, yet despite this his attack was put at a halt. Her expression changed to a grin that shouted you fell for it. He eye widened a bit as he wondered why she was making this expression, and he found a seki being pressed into his chest. He tightened his chest muscles to endure it a bit as it would push him backwards with the dirt being scrapped off the ground as he was pushed back. He looked at her and smirked as he looked at where the attack hit, it left a slight red mark but nothing worrying or hurtful. "Attacking my blind spot huh?" Sotaro said pointing at his eye patch with a smile. "Thats smart." He said before gripping his Bokken, which he would then toss right at her, sending it hurdling towards her. He woulds then shunpo to her side while crouching down to sweep out her legs with his own, while raising his right arm to grab his bokken and swing it towards her chest, in case she jumped up to avoid the sweep.

'Another one?! Oh boy! It must be my lucky day' Sai thought idly as she secretly analysed Zento's stance. He didn't seem excitable at all, if anything he seemed to be a little awkward, that or he must not of been the cheery type. None-the-less, Sai extended her right hand to offer Zento a hand shake, just as she would to any joining Shinigami. "Ahh I see, well thank you for choosing my Squad. I hope life here will be to your liking" Sai kept wearing her warm smile to try and make Zento fell welcomed, if Zento were to accept the hand shake, Sai would of released his hand at this point. "Seeing as you've decided to join, I need for you to complete a task for me, the same one as those two over there" She pointed her thumb towards Koyo-shi and Sotaro as they sparred before continuing to speak. "I hope you wouldn't mind taking part in a spar with another member for me? For this spar, you will use a bokken, which is a wooden sword. I'd like to keep a hold of your sealed Zanpakuto to insure that you don't use it, this is just a precaution of mine. If you accept, Hinen will be your sparring partner as I have to keep watch of both you and those other two new recruits" Sai explained, holding her right hand out with her palm facing upwards, ready to accept Zento's Zanpakuto.

Hinen, on the other hand, jumped at the mention of her name. She wanted to reject and relax in her room until she had to visit Squad Four once again, but she knew that she was chosen only because she was the only other Shinigami within the area that was free. Instead of speaking her thoughts, Hinen bit her tounge and looked up at Sai's smile. 'Dammit, I guess I have no choice... I could use the practice though'

Yakima slightly smirked for a second, seeing the two of them putting their differences aside to fight him. But it vanished before it could be seen, returning to his stoic face "Good, hope you two are ready for a field trip. Sentan Hakuja." A long white cloth extended from his sleeve. He spun it above their heads, the cloth tightening around them and engulfing them in a white glow. A second later, they were gone.

The three of them appeared on the very outskirts of the Soul Society, on a lsrge open grassfield. "Usually we spar with bokkens but im feeling extra rebellious today. So the both of you come with your swords drawn and ill do the same. Fight as if your lives are on the line" He said as he placed his hand on his hilt, waiting for them.

Aya looked up at the white cloth and tilted her head as she looked at it before it tightened around her. And as it un-raveled she was standing in a large open grass field. He told them that they usually spar with bokken but he was rebellious and was going to make them spar with their own zanpakuto's. Aya threw her hands up in the air with a grin plastered on her face. "Woooo, no holding back!" Aya shouted as she gripped her sword in her right hand. She pushed her right leg off the ground and burst towards him. She knew a straight on charge was stupid, so that's why before he got close she poke her finger to her left side. "Hado number one, Sho!" She said as a blue orb shot into her pushing her towards the right which made her grin as she swung her zanpakuto to his left arm.

Shinzo stood there as a white cloth appeared around them and suddenly they appeared within a field outside the Seireitei. Listening to the Captain Shinzo nodded then unsheathed his Zanpakuto, holding it firmly in his right hand as he quickly glanced at the somewhat cracked and broken looking blade. This made him wonder why his Zanpakuto spirit was so stubborn and wouldn't communicate with him but regardless...that didn't matter right now. The Zanpakuto would hold out...despite it's appearance it was still incredibly strong. Shinzo watched as Aya took off, heading for the Captains left side. Shinzo then took a deep breath and began to shunpo forward, shunpoing left and right before ultimatly appearing at the right side of the Captain, in the air planning to slash down diagonally towards the Captains neck

Zento felt a bit nervous standing in front of the Captain. She seemed to be observing him, he made sure to hide him noticing. He listened to her, keeping her expression neutral as she spoke. If I last that long, to enjoy it at least. he thought to himself darkly. He had accepted the woman's hand shake and smiled back at her and returning her smile with one of his own. Unfortunately, his frown disappeared quickly when she already had a task for him to complete. That was quick, that was much clearer than he anticipated.

Spar? Zento thought to himself confused. He looked back at the girl that had led him here, he was not so sure she could handle a fight with him. He jerked his arm away for a third time as his Zanpakuto shocked him once again. He immediately understood what she meant, never underestimate the opponent. He knew that there was probably no refusing his Captain. He unclipped Kazuma from his hip and placed it in the open hand of Yoshi. "Careful, she's a feisty one, you might get shocked." He said sarcastically. "Alright, let's get started." He said with a smile, this time with real excitement.

Shaking off a small bit of smoke from her palm she watched the larger man slide back, at least it had hit him like she intended though she wondered just for a moment what would have happened if she had used something dangerous. "Thanks, though I just couldn't help myself." She once again entered the same stance as before as Sotaro charged her but as the sweep attack came she fell right into the attack, only managing to lift up her sword for minor protecting but she still got batted away a good distance. Landing back onto her feet she rubbed her belly where much of the force had hit, only to look towards the captain who didn't seem like she was going to be calling the match off just yet.

With a small grin Shi started to run towards Sotaro, her eyes cloaked in the shadow of her hair as she brought up her sword in front of her "Hadō #32 - Ōkasen!" A dangerous Kido was fired from her sword, the blade of flame shooting out towards the other shinigami but it hit in front of him, kicking the dirt from the ground, a miss? Bringing her sword up to her shoulder she extended her hand, if what he said before was true he may not have known what it is she was doing. "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and tear out your own throat!" Generating an orange-hued with spiraling yellow patterns ball Shi focused it into the tip of her fingers "Bakudō #9 - Hōrin!" With that a tendril shot out and would come through the dust instead of her, moving much faster thanks to the full incantation, attempting to ensnare Sotaro and pull him towards her so she could try a follow up attack with her bokken.

She blocked the attack but got pushed away a good bit which surprised him as to how strong he swung, he had to remember she was much lighter though. So when she grinned and held her bokken and said the Okasen chant, his eye widened as he got ready to dodge, only to watch it hit the ground in front of him. It send dirt blocking his vision, yet he could still hear the chant for a kido. That was enough for him to wait for it to finish before shunpoing to her side, to see her fire off the Horin through the dust that her Okasen caused. He gave her little chance to react and held his palm as he arched it back and slammed it forward at her. He would of held back, but she proved to be deadly, so he felt he had no need to hold back on such an opponent.

Today they were full fledged shinigami. Zheng looked at his uniform with a great sense of pride and with a joy he could barely contain, he leaped up and pumped his fist into the air and shouted into the air. Oh what a great day it is to be alive! As of today he was truly a shinigami, along with his companion next to him. Kamon looked less than excited, indifferent was probably the best word to describe the emotionless being. Zheng rolled his eyes and pat the Mod Soul's back. "Oh come on, this is a great day for us! You could at least smile!" He grinned widely with his pearly whites only to meet Kamon's emotionless stare.

"As you wish Master." The mod soul smiled...or what seemed to be many cracks in a mirror. Smiling just wasn't one of his strong suits, among other social interactions and the like. More or less, his smile just made Zheng feel uneasy so he stopped, returning to his regular frown. "Anyway master, shall we enter the barracks?"

"You don't need to ask that." Zheng smirked and walked through the gates, entering the home base of the squad that dealt with special ops.

Masami just walked around the building aimlessly. The little tigress had tried to find the squad 13 captain, but she was nowhere to be seen. Others had given her directions though while they did have their best intentions they were uncomfortable with having a bipedal tiger walking around the barracks. She was used to this though. Many were had mistreated her due to her appearance so it wasn't new to her. While wandering and lost in thought she passed the captain without even noticing.

Hinen gulped at the sound of Zento's excited tone, meanwhile Sai merely chuckled at the male's remark as he handed her his Zanpakuto. "Heh, I'll keep that in mind" She responded jokily, holding Zento's Zanpakuto in her right hand while the other two Zanpakutos were held securely under left arm. Turning towards Hinen, Sai's smile had grown a little at the sound of excitement from Zento. While her eyes were on Hinen, Sai had disappeared with a shunpo before reappeared a mere second later, holding two bokken in her right hand as she had added Zento's Zanpakuto to the other two in under her left arm. "Here Hinen, take one to Zento and then you both can begin, don't forget to leave your Zanpakuto with me 'Kay?" Hinen bit her bottom lip slightly nervously before looking around to see if anyone else could take her spot. 'Oh look a tiger.... WAIT WHAT?' Hinen had spotted a tiger wondering passed the group, something she had never seen before. Looking hurriedly to the Captain, Hinen pointed towards the Shinigami but made sure they wouldn't see her rude gesture. "E-Er C-Captain, there's someone ov-over there" Sai looked at Hinen with slightly raised eyebrows before looking in the direction Hinen was pointing. 'Another memb-Seriously my luck today! Soon enough I'll have doubled my Squad's size!' "Actually on second thought, I believe I may have someone else new to spar with you Zento!" Sai called to Zento before turning around towards the seemingly lost Shinigami after passing one of the two bokken to Hinen for her to give it to Zento.

Strolling casually towards the lost Shinigami, Sai raised her right hand in a wave to catch their attention. "Hi there, you appear to be lost. I'm the Captain of this Squad, Captain Yoshimasuto, you may call me Captain Yoshi if you wish to shorten my name. May I help you?" Sai added her warm welcoming smile back onto her face for the forth time today, each and every time was genuine though, having new Shinigami choose to join her Squad instead of the other two needing members lifted her spirits quite high.

Yeah that was a dumb move by her and her blank expression said it all as the palm slammed into her, sending her to the ground with a loud thump. Just because he couldn't do it didn't mean he didn't know about it, though maybe not its effects. "Damn that hurt" She commented to herself before trying to recover this little failed stunt of hers by swinging the Hōrin like a whip to try and lock him down. However this time she did not fully expect it to work as either way it was a distraction for her to kneel up and finally use shunpo to close in for a real attack combo with the bokken! As before her style was very open, but given how defenseless she seemed it would have been clear to anyone use to combat that it was always a faint.
