You guys are just trampling on my childhood now. Their play den was AMAZING! And the ball pools!!!!


Yeah see, my childhood consisted of Wacky Warehouse whose play areas were a billion times better than McDonald's. Once you've had caviar, it's hard to go back to sausages.

Well nothing concrete about the ship except for old stories of the ship's adventures while it still was in service since you implied that nobody in the party had actually seen any schematics for the ship, unless the Alliance Navy actually ran a deep scan of the ship and provided that info for the misfits

The bridge computers could certainly indicate what happened to the Lone Star. If we could restore the power, checking the navigation console for its last recorded coordinates would paint a decent picture of where to start.

Seems like our group need to make a game plan before they go in?

All I meant to imply is that there's ways the party could get more information, given their skills and proficiencies, before stepping foot on board. Make of that what you will.

No, this is just discussion. It only becomes metagaming if you try and get information on what's happening in-game before your characters would know about it, and since I'm the only one who actually knows anything and I won't be telling there's no danger there.

Finding the spaceship equivalent of the "black box" is a good idea.

And if someone's carved "Hello Sweetie" and a list of coordinates into it just leave it where it is. :P

Because of Solun's unique environment, it's practically impossible for Syndori to travel off their home world without their enviro suits, what with oxygen being deadly to them and the high pressure needed to not be ripped apart alive. So. They basically live in their suits.

So what I'm getting from this discussion is that we're gonna go in and try to look for coordinates and message logs to find out what happened. To do that we'll need power, which means we'll need a team to go down to engineering and try to switch the old girl on. If the engines are screwed, a ship that size will have auxilary power cores (massive capacitors basically) which could potentially still hold power even ten years later. That would mean we need a minimum of two teams, one at engineering and one at the bridge.

What do we have in the way of comms?

What do we have in the way of comms?

JR remembered to bring a comm headset as part of his gear and you're on a military shuttle, a quick check of what gear they have on board might reward you with something you could use too.
