I love how large and versatile the human tongue is.

When closed, a mouth can be almost filled by a single tongue, but it can still move to allow food to be inserted and organised within the mouth and sounds to be produced despite having no divisions or appendages. It can change shape and position purely through its own muscles and functions as a sensory organ.

On a side note, one of my Pokemon headcanons is Lickitung uses the moves Dragon, Aqua and Iron Tail with its tongue instead because its tail is bulbous and useless.

Easiest to acquire. Just go to your local grocery-mart and buy a handful of the best tongues. 

Most other tongues are going to require manual collection. Who wants to do fieldwork when you can just swipe a card?
