Any experienced TTRP'ers out there ever done a purely slice of life Table Top rp? If so, how did it work?

I've had an idea floating around for one, though I doubt I'd use it any time soon, but it focused on various dice rolls(primarily done by choice when the player chooses, though some events would REQUIRE a roll) to garner the success of a basic action, such as throwing a basketball, waking up on time, catching the bus, hell even hitting the toilet when drunk and wanting to take a whizz.

There would be various things a character could do to increase their modifiers for rolls, example; being well rested lets you add +2 to all rolls, eating a meal temporarily gives you +1 (or more depending on the meal) to stamina based rolls, ect. ect.

Ideally, there would be a general 'thresh-hold' where any roll under a certain number means the player fails and humiliates them self. Additionally, if a player rolls higher than a certain number (include the additions of modifiers) they are able to slightly bend reality in for the action they rolled on, 'exaggerating' a scene or action beyond what is normal to their advantage. I also entertained the idea of 'breaking reality', if a players modifiers cause them to go over a certain, hard to reach number, their character disappears from the face of the earth, never to be seen again.

What are your thoughts on this? Additionally, anyone can steal the idea if they'd like, just PM me so I can see how it pans out or maybe join.

1 You don't ever roll for basic actions unless there's a reason to have a chance to fail.

2 Also without a reference to the math used for rolling I can't comment on the modifier bonuses for what you're proposing

3 That's already a given in most games that let you get an absurd amount of points into skills that let you brute force into the more impossible difficulties with a good enough roll.

Hell anima already does that as a core presumption of your character by letting them by enlightenment and zen which lets you raise the cap on your skills into ranks that would let you do impossible things like swag so hard the weather changes dramatically to fit the mood you're going for

Part of the reason I don't exactly want to tackle the idea more thoroughly is your points 1 and 2, I've got a general idea for how they'd work, but putting it together properly would be quite tedious, it'd also be tedious to read and reference to. I'll have to look into Anima, it sounds interesting.

Depending on your familiarity with rules heavy games I'd say to put off Anima as it has a slightly more complicated ruleset since it's based heavily on rolemaster.
