Luna stepped out of the landing craft and pressed a button on the side of the ship. With an audible hissing the whole side moved outwards and transformed into a platform.
"I call this, the picnic button.", she exclaimed smiling as the comstation and the chairs and tables unfolded.
"I'll make sure I'll stay in contact with you, in case you're planning to wander around", she told the crew and plopped down on one of the chairs as the sunroof unfolded with her handgun placed on the table in front of her.

Sera walked out of the ship, the world she stepped into was breath-taking. The wildlife was... questionable from her first impressions, reptilian monkeys? She supposed that most folk-tales had stranger creatures, but those typically had the courtesy to stay in their folk-tales as nothing but a fantasy. The geology was nothing special, there were plenty of hills and all so her ski's would be useful, but they were nothing compared to the thick jungle canopy they had landed next to.

Her mind was under stress, so much new stuff to experience, so little time. So much in fact that she for a brief moment shrank away from her professional side. Being able to say nothing but, "What do we do now?" rather than thinking for herself. Which may have been for the best.

"We survive".

Piotr stepped out of the ship just as the creature attacked Jack, being able to see what happened. In the split second he spent outside the ship before the incident, he couldn't help but stare at the jungle, astonished. They had made it, they were the first to explore this unknown spot in the universe, and it was up to them to study and catalog the place. But before they could do their duty, they had to assure their own safety. As the attack happened, he immediately realized the imminent danger they were exposed to. They weren't at home and, as far as he knew, anything could mean the end for this squad of Space Explorers. It would take a while to get used to the idea of having to be careful of absolutely everything around them, but they had to do it if they wanted to get back home at some point.

"You", he said while turning his head at the hurt soldier, "if I were you, I'd get that checked immediately. For all we know, that creature could have injected some sort of neurotoxin and you could die any second now". He now directed his speech to everyone around him. "As for the rest of you, I'd suggest you to be really careful. You may not have noticed it yet, but we are no longer on Earth, so don't act as if we were. Be wary of your surroundings. If something gets close to you, it's likely to eat you".
