As Lincoln was walking down the hallway, he heard his name. When he looked to where it came from, it was said by a girl, accompanied by another girl. He couldn't just ignore it, he hasn't met anyone yet. A friend wouldn't hurt. The girl that said his name was a good-looking brunette. The other girl that accompanied her, was another good-looking girl. A blonde one. They split, and the blonde girl made her ways own the hall. Lincoln dropped down and started to "tie" his shoe. He quickly found out; the blonde girl is his room mate.

"Oh God," Lincoln chided to himself. He stood back up. "Why couldn't it be someone that I could relate with. That girl..." The girl seems like she wasn't familiar with any type of labor. But Lincoln knows you shouldn't judge. Lincoln changes direction back to his new neighbor. Once he gets to the door, he began to think twice. "I don't wanna intrude." Lincoln thought. Knock Knock

"Hi! I am your neighbor, Lincoln. I just wanted to introduce myself."

Seril nearly bumped into a girl on his way out of the room and had to immediately retrieve his copy, letting it slip back into his body hoping the girl had been as startled as him. From the look on her face, Seril thought she was. He stood there for a moment kind of ogling the girl standing in front of him. He wasn't the best when it came to talking to the opposite sex, he barely managed a "Uh, can I help you?" instantly almost smacking himself in the forehead for sounding so damn Till. "You must be Nyaleena." He said pointing to the room next to his. There was no other reason one of these girls would be knocking on his door, especially not one like this. Seril blushed a bit trying to brush away that thought. "Im uh, Seril" He said sticking out his hand. @Imaginary

"Rather impressive" Zeph thought, the senior ranking members easily diffused a situation. A small show of force along with a stern warning, even if the two posturing males could have contended with the guards they had the intelligence to hold back their rage. However she found many of the rest of the group, in a word. "Lacking" Her thought slipped through her lips but no one seemed to pay it attention, and with the little of amount of context provided it was unlikely anyone would pick up on the meaning.

The building was to be her residence, she trailed the group observing the various changes in posture as some became more alert and others seemed to relax in the setting far faster. Zeph herself noted that these mental notes are likely a nervous trait, similar to her rather rigid posture. Being surrounded by what could only be compared to a Deco styled architecture, It seemed to portray both order and dominance at the same time, similar to the ideology that its owners represent.

The weight of her twin bags began to inform her of their weight. Her family packed her bags to the brim with what is likely overpriced scandalous attire, the mere thought made her eyes roll. As like the rest she found a room with her name and began to unpack her things. The room in comparison to the one provided by her parents was rather quaint, much more comforting.

After some time, she reemerged with a much more plain garb. A simple red and black pantsuit...Not exactly as subtle as she thought but far less revealing. A meal was her next objective, she stood thinking back to its location as she locked her door. "One year 34 hours remaining..."

Mason's ride to the facility was rather awkward. The driver, who was obviously new at his job, tried to make petty conversation, but was ignored by his rather introverted passenger. At this point, he would've rather walked all the way from Till. He spread his large hands and rubbed out the wrinkles in his dark blue jeans. He watched his own reflection in the driver's mirror, glancing from his recently cut hair to his freshly shaven face.

His eyes drifted from his own self to the tall building ahead of the limousine, which could've been the biggest building he'd ever seen in his life. Looking upon it, he felt slightly intimidated - and Mason rarely was intimidated. He looked around as the Limo pulled to a halt. He saw other teens crowding the steps of the facility, and he almost began to regret not running and bailing from the recruiters.

As he opened the door the vehicle, the driver said goodbye. Mason stepped out, accidentally hitting his head on the roof. He swore, but stood his full six and a half feet. The area was warmer than he thought it would be, so he unzipped his leather jacket. He entered the crowd, and became slightly aware of a set of eyes on him. He turned to see a boy he recognized from Till - Steril... Carol... Sterah - he gave up, unable to figure out the guy's name.

When the asian man spoke, Mason's eyes snapped to attention. He looked at him with studying eyes. He looked like a confident man, and he could probably take down anyone in the yard - Mason included. He'd learned that enough skill could take down biggest of men. As the man dismissed the recruits, the bustle of teens shifted inside. Mason parted the crowd in front of him, making his way towards the front of the crowd.

When he reached his room, he set his bags down beside the bed. He took a moment and glanced at the positioning of his bed. Unsatisfied, he grabbed it by the base and dragged it with little effort across the floor to the other corner of the room, so that he could lay down with full view of the room. He sighed and looked at the door that opened to the other room. He'd probably have to meet his roommate sooner or later.... He went and knocked on the door, waiting for an answer.

Derric smiled as he watched the girl leave, glad to at least have found someone from the same area as him. Still, he would have to see if he could make better friends with her later, there were more important things to do right now, such as figure out who his room mate was... Something he wasn't particularly worried nor excited about. Making his way to the floor of his dorm, he slowly entered and glanced around. It was nice to say the least... Nothing he could complain about at all. He glanced at the attached room to see if his room mate had shown up yet to find he was the only one here so far.

Looks like he could start unpacking then. Not that there really was much for Derric to unpack... Most of what he had was simply old mementos of home. A stone with carved runic-type symbols which he had received from his mother when he was younger, a feather from his pet hawk who had died in a hunting accident last year... Various things like that. Once he finished, he stepped back and sighed, looking around. Did he even have a roomate?

Tarvas wasn’t sure at all why he did that, but there was nothing that could be done - he already did it, and besides, he could stand being friendly… once. As it was, he was forgetting that anything had ever happened.

He picked up his own case and went to the hall where he was supposed to go. Looking down the line of rooms, he finally found one that had the name he wanted on it: Derric Athens//Tarvas Meldon. He wouldn’t be surprised if most people had already found their rooms - he was late enough as it was.

He entered his new room, putting down his suitcase on the bed and observing his surroundings. They were a bit fancy for his tastes, but not overly so, either. He could live with that. He heard noises coming from the other room and assumed the other guy… Derric?.. was already in there. Still, Tarvas was tired and after unpacking the few things he had, he attempted to get a little shuteye on the bed. Dinner would be coming up soon.

Alda leaned back on the bed and closed her eyes. A few moments later she'd entered a projection, and her "ghost" wandered out through the wall into the hallway. Casually she sauntered through people's rooms, enjoying the fact that she was invisible, eavesdropping on conversations. She turned tail very quickly when she saw Derric, though, because it felt weird to just be watching someone she'd just spoken to and possibly made friends with. Time to go back, now, before things got creepy for her.

She woke quietly from the "nap" and looked at the ceiling.

Nya watched as the boy stuck out his hand, offering a shake. How formal, she thought. It's respectable. I like it. She returned the hand shake and offered a genuine smile. "My name is Nya" she said. "I guess I'm your roommate." That's kind of a silly term. It's not like we're actually sharing rooms. She looked the boy over while she waited for his response. He was cute in a boyish way. He had slightly wild blonde hair. He looked like he had some physical work in his resume but not to the point that it aged him in any way. Something about his presence was appealing to her. He seemed warm, friendly, and had eyes that pierced her in an unexplainable way. It was like he was peering right into the hidden parts of her. She shuddered slightly. She was done waiting for him to reply. "Is, uh, this your first time experiencing Recruitment Day?" She shifted from one foot to the other, unable to come up with a better question. Stop being a schoolgirl and suck it up.

Chess heard a light knock on his door and walked away from his desk to answer it. Well, he thought to himself, guess its time to get it over with and meet this roommate. He hoped he wasn't to friendly. As a matter of fact he hoped they were all positively shit. It wouldn't be hard to defeat them that way. He opened the door to see a surprisingly big guy standing there in some denim jeans, he had to be from Till, who else still wore denim jeans? Especially ones like that. Chess had to strain his neck to look the other boy in the face, but he put his hand out and put on the best smile he could. No use in them thinking he was an introvert, he just couldn't go catching feelings. "My name is Chess, you know like the game." He said rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly still smiling, this kid could crush him.

Seril leaned on his door frame and crossed his arms, knowing it was a little safer now. "Yeah" He told her brushing some hair out of his face. "I ain't-" he said suddenly stopping himself mid sentence. Damn hick he thought "I haven't ever been to Focal actually" He said thinking that sounded kind of dumb now. He looked Nya up and down again trying not to come off as pervy, "So whats your story, you dont look like you fell off the back of the truck like some of these girls." He said chuckling under his breath, he supposed it wasn't there fault they were that way but that sure as hell didn't mean they needed to act that way all the time. He couldn't wait to see how the Guard would handle some of them. He would probably write his sister about the girls here and how much different the ones back home are. He almost made a copy right in front of Nya but quickly stopped himself.

He definitely needed to stop using that thing before he got himself killed.

Mason ended up looking down - literally - at the boy on the other side of the door. He was small and short, so Mason didn't really have to size him up, threat-wise. He stepped back, so he could comfortably look at the guy. "Uh chester?" He repeated, dumbly. Great first impression, idiot... He thought. "Hi... I'm Mason..." He said, shifting from either foot. He looked at the younger guy expectantly. "Well... I guess we're neighbors... Nice to meet you..." He stuck out a hand for the guy to shake. He almost took it back. Did other grids shake hands? Did anyone still shake hands at all? He sighed through his nose. Note to self... You suck at greetings...

Estella took a shower because she felt all dirty from falling earlier. She got her stuff and went into the bathroom. The water was a nice, warm temperature and she was able to relax a bit. She began to think whether or not it was such a good idea for her to be here. Sure, she was amazing and great at everything she did but was being a Guard really what she wanted to do? She would much rather be a singer or some other kind of performer. When she finished her shower, she wrapped her body in a pink towel and began to blow dry her hair. She changed into a more casual, but still fashionable lace white tank top and a pair of shorts. She let her hair down naturally and applied just a bit of make up; she wanted her skin to breathe better in the evening. By the time she was ready, she noticed that Alda was lying in her bed, but was awake.

"Do you want to go to the dining hall together?" she asked since they were both going to go there anyways. It was about time to go.

Derric slowly laid down in his bed and let out a deep sigh, closing his eyes. It had been a long trip, some shut eye would be most certainly welcome. However as he began to drift off, he felt something... Off. As if his sense was telling him someone else was around. He quickly lifted up his head and looked around with a small frown. "Hello?" He called of hesitantly , still feeling the presence. " is someone there?" He didn't know that it was Alda of course, as he couldn't see her but his sense was still setting off. By shouting out however, he accidentally could be heard by his room mate

Dyana looked up to see the boy standing at her door "Damn...he's actually really cute...this is gunna be a pain in the ass isn't it?" she zoned out for a second looking at him, then shook her head and caught what he said "Hey I'm glad to, insulting a luminosity is an insult to all of us, so I am not a big fan either" he continued to smile and say hi before departing and she watched him leave before staring at her bag "...fuck what was I doing?" she put her hand on her head and sighed "If he's going to do that to me everytime, this is going to be one long ass year..." she spoke to herself before looking around at her stuff, getting up and putting her clothes in their respective places. She looked around at the room and put her bag in the closet before contemplating what to do. She looked out in the hall "No way, you dont want to seem clingy? if he wants to talk, he'll come..." she waited a few minutes "maybe I could like...oh I know what i should ask!" she fixed her hair and smelt her breath "Dude...what are you doing you're just going over for small talk, you're really over thinking this..." she put her hands in her back pockets and walked into the hall.

Seeing his door open, she stopped short of the door "Maybe he's like busy...yeah lets just...no just try to have a conversation dude, stop being such little biotch and get in there" she knocked on the door and looked at him laying down, putting a strand of hair behind her ear she smiled "Uh...I guess im here to return the hi back? I figure we have like...two hours? and I'm not quite use to this whole" she made a circle motion of the room "...thing, so I figured if you weren't busy, maybe you wanna like...i dunno, talk? Though if you're busy I can always just leave you to yourself, just felt kinda to quiet if you catch my drift" she leaned against the doorframe of the door and looked at him, losing her train of thought slightly again.

@SheriffLlama Chess couldn't help but crack a smile. No one ever called him by his real name, but he didn't mind, he found it pretty funny that the boy from Till would automatically say his actual name instead of the one he had just told him. He shook the big guys hand and looked down the hall to see if anyone was walking by, he wasn't really sure what to say so he just blurted out the first thing that came to his mind. "So you're from Till?" He said hoping that didn't sound too rude, and then his smile dropped a little realising it might have. He pulled up his sleeves looking at the door leading between their rooms, "So what did you do for fun around Till? I've never been, but I hear it's almost dead silent at night. Sounds like you ain't never getting away with nothing." He said a thought running through his head. Mason was the biggest guy among the Trainees, why shouldn't he make him his friend, if anything it'll get him closer to the end than having to do everything alone. Somewhere in the back of Chess's mind he knew that probably wasn't the real reason, somewhere deep was telling him he was just tired of being alone.

Alda startled just slightly at the sound of Estella's voice. She'd been damn lucky the girl hadn't seen her project, because although some people were known for sleeping like rocks, it would certainly look suspicious if her roommate had tried to nudge her awake only to discover that she was completely unresponsive. She shivered just slightly and nodded. She stood up perhaps a little too quickly and responded, "Yeah, let's go. Gotta beat the rush."

And without waiting for Estella she practically speed-walked out of there, looking down at herself- yep, she'd taken her real body this time.

"I'm sure it will be fine" Sarah replied "The same goes for me as well, I haven't bought much but if you ever need anything feel free to ask." Turning around she opened the wardrobe again and took out a uniform. If she was honest it felt weird to hold in her hands what would be her day to day wear for hopefully the rest of her working life. If she was honest she wanted to wear it immediately if anything to get used to the feel of the material as she moved around.

Turning back to her neighbour she said "Up for a fashion show before dinner?" Holding up the uniform's shirt as a not too subtle hint as to her meaning.

Just a few seconds after Paige had laid down she heard a knock on her door. With a soft sigh, she got up and opened the door to see a brown haired boy standing in front of her. He introduced himself , and at first she wasn't interested. But then he mentioned that he was he was her neighbor, and she smiled softly. "Nice to meet you, Lincoln. I'm Paige." She replied holding out her hand. "But, of course, you probably already knew that." She said looking at her name on the door. "Hey, I think it's about time for dinner, you want to head down together?" She asked. If she was going to be a door's thickness away from him for the next year, she might as well attempt to get to know him. Besides, if he was good that was one more person on her side.

Estella watched with a confused expression as Alda practically rushed out of there. "What a strange girl," Estella thought to herself. "She didn't even wait for me!" She was a little bit offended but there was no need to express it; she was already gone. Estella grabbed her purse, did one last check in the mirror and made her way to the dining hall. She was wondering what would be the best move to make for her grand debut. Little did she know that people were already familiar with her, but not in a way she would like: the girl who made a scene over a jacket.

She wandered around, not completely sure where to go. "This place is actually pretty big," she sighed. "I actually kind of wish Alda was here, maybe she would know where to go."

Estella saw that many of the students have already paired or grouped off, and worried a little about being left alone but then thought, "Psh, I'm Estella Zaneux. People will beg to be acquainted with me." Still, she needed friends, or hopefully even an entourage.

Lilith looked lazily out the window, her eyes half closed. She usually loved traveling, but it was a drag now that she had somewhere to go for business. The limousine stopped as Lilith reached for the bottle of sparkling water her parents had sent with her in a large gift bag. It was full of fancy chocolates, mints that stunk up the whole bag, and loving cards full of money, because her parents didn't know what to buy her anymore. She sighed and placed the bottle back into the bag with a shrug. She waited for a moment, and the driver stepped out to open the door to the limo. She stepped out and straightened her dress, she grabbed the gifts from the seat and let her servants grab the bags.

She walked confidently into the school, her servants following her. They had been her friends throughout the years, so she didn't look for any familiar faces. Most of the people she had hung out with on her nights out were much older than her anyways, and she didn't think they would be here. She flashed smiles back at her butler, who now had a child and was getting paid extra for this job. She liked him, because he always did stuff for his family. She also smiled at her maid, who was only a few years older than Lilith.

Sooner than Lilith wanted, she found her room, on a nameplate sat two small names Zeph and Lilith. Lilith didn't know if Zeph was a boy's name or a girl's name, but she hoped it was a girl's. She didn't feel comfortable sharing a room with a boy. She walked in and found out that the room's were connected by a door and that door was locked. It was obvious her roommate had already come through, so she took the free bedroom and had her servants unpack for her. They were going to leave as soon as they were finished, so Lilith gave them hugs and gave them a card full of money to split amongst themselves. Then she left and started to head towards the dining room.

"Though if you're busy I can always just leave you to yourself, just felt kinda to quiet if you catch my drift," she stated and Colt was quick on the reply.

"Don't!" he said rapidly, panic entering his voice. He sat up quickly on his bed, realizing what he just did. He rubbed the back of his neck self consciously. "I mean... I'm okay if you stay or not. I don't care. But I'm not one for talking," he said with a smirk. He grinned at her before standing up and walking closer to her. "I'm more of a guy of actions, if you catch my drift." He winked at her after turning her own phrase against her. He blinked slowly, examining her closely before backing up once more jumping on his bed. "Besides, I'm tired of sitting. I was in a car for a little more than three hours." He looked at her through his lashes before saying suggestively, "You know, I heard they have a pool here..."

Citrine couldn't help herself. She squealed like a little girl and sprinted back into her room, rummaging through her wardrobe. She found her uniform and immediately stripped out of her dress, throwing the uniform on after it. She looked at herself in the mirror first, examining how tight fitting everything was. She then pulled up the hood and the mask and ran back into Sarah's room, looking excitedly toward her new found friend.

"How do I look?" she asked, her voice muffled by the mask. She twirled in front of her new friend. She noticed the patch over the heart, a slim red X. She smiled underneath her mask. She couldn't believe that this was even real. This was her lifelong dream and now it had come true. She let out a small laugh and looked back at Sarah.
