Yeah it did but to be fair, misunderstanding and lack of communication kinda started it. That's why I suggested I could possibly be like a bridge, just copy+pasting chunks of info from chat onto a pm for others who aren't in it. Tbh 90% of the time, we don't discuss about it.

HERE HERE I AGREE also is it ok if i could mabey steal a fighter ot buy one and justput it somewhere in the ship ? because im not planning on being on the ground the whole time
or just attach it to the ship

I don't mind if you remake a post. But the thing with RPG at the moment is that you can't delete posts so you might have to edit it instead. I think mods of the site can but that'll be hassling in my opinion.

As for fighter plane, that just depends on the GM, we can't decide for him.

I'll compromise here. No fighter bays as of yet, but a possible modification to the ship later on for one.

Well just because the computer announced there's a distress call, doesn't mean we should take the mission right away. Regrouping and resupplying necessities feel like priority imo.

And not sure what kind of setting you guys were expecting but it's unfortunate both of you had to drop so early. I guess it was a little too fast paced in the training mission but like X said, it was mostly an excuse to introduce new charas. And as Sword said, you guys are welcome to come back if you change your mind later on.

Seriously, quitting right in the beginning... before the first real mission can even begin.
'Setting didn't turn out to be what I hoped' The setting was made clear and plus, you are bailing before anything could even begin. It was made clear that the first 'mission' was merely about introducing the newest rp players.

The speed is quite normal unless you were expecting 1-2 posts every couple weeks and not much has even happened. All it takes is some reading, some asking and all caught up. You could've just moved along with it like my character did. But it matters not, we'll press forward regardless.

In the same vein Boom, I might have to let you go. I feel bad doing it, but i'm trying to pull back the speed a whole lot before this goes way too fast. Your posts are lacking quality and it's a possibly detriment. I feel terrible about it, but if you check out the Free Roleplay section, it might be a bit more your speed.

There are three possible mission choices coming up. One of them involves being in post-fallout husked Russia, one of them involves visiting the last living city on earth, and the other involves a space station. Would you like to be introed in the start of any of these? Where would you be located on the ship at?

It wasn't the speed that did it for me. It was the setting. I was expecting something more... Suspenseful and mysterious ,I suppose. With a nice dash of action and violence, but mainly seeking to unveil the mystery of humanity's extinction. It's the reason my character was an explorer. Starting the RP with a kill fest did it for me. I don't care if it was to introduce new characters--Those characters could have woken up from the pods and you know it well. Not to mention the fact that the military had a high value target bound in an open area, on the floor and with apparently the worst soldiers possible guarding it.

I also knew absolutely nothing about the ship my character awoke in. Why was Teige there? What was the ship's original mission? Without knowing such things, I was at an absolute loss on how my character should interact with the others.

Wanna know why I wrote this post? Cause I'm frickin salty after I Am X's post criticizing our decision to leave.

Mmmmm I do get your point on the lack of details which made it difficult to post something without any basis. The introduction should have been done more properly I suppose, settling the characters down, setting their objectives and the like. I respect your decision for leaving, now that I know exactly why.

And boom, hopefully it doesn't discourage you from RPing, and hope that you might find another RP that you'd be interested in and as others have already suggested, Free Roleplay isn't so strict on the length or the quality of posts. You can treat it as a training ground for RPing, if you'd like. Then when you're confident enough, you can try your shot at Casual Roleplay again.

I stand by what I put in my post. You expect too much from the get go (honestly its not like everything will get explained right from the get go) and left before things can get anywhere. Granted this all stems from lack of communication and what the players expected wasn't addressed but to just leave so easily when the RP is just about a week old, makes it difficult to take your points seriously.

As for the setting, it was made quite clear in the interest check.

A few last things. This game will feel like a mix between FTL and Mass Effect. The universe is going to be expanded as we explore. that means no preset map or anything. The playable alien races you see are not the only ones. you can create one and run it by me, and if it looks good i'll put it in there as well. So good luck and have fun.

Thank you for being understanding, Amaterasu. The interest check said nothing. It just mentioned a mix between two games that all had their share of action, mystery, suspense and good storytelling.
