Ah, hi. I'm BlackDragonSol, I go by a few other names, but this one is my main one. I'm an avid roleplayer, have been for seven years. Since then, I've sorta moved up the ladder from being a bad one, to a good one
A short bio:
I'm eighteen years old, I work at a bakery as a diversified employee, but mainly I'm assigned to the kitchen as a cleaner, and I've recently graduated school. Right now I'm just working to afford college for a degree within the arts, mainly that of both literature and visual arts. I personally don't see myself as generally what 'is', but more of what I think I am. I don't really assign myself to having either male or female qualities, but I'm fine with whatever people call me, provided it's not derogatory. My life is a pretty rocky and bumpy one, but who'd want a life story on an RP Forum, right? All you'd need to know is that I've been living in the midwest for the past eighteen years with an occasional vacation.
Me, personality wise:
I'm a cynic by nature, I tend to peck things apart and parody them, and believe that those who aren't smart are often doing things out of their own, selfish reasons. Although overall, I can be a pretty calm person. I tend to act indifferent to most people unless it's a friend, speaking of friends. That's why I'm here, I was referred to here by a few. Aside to a cynic and downer nature, please note it's not done to put people in a bad mood or to discourage them. I enjoy being with friends for the most part, especially ones that are close. I'm very picky when it comes to friends, however! And rather protective, too, unless my friend has done something horribly wrong.
I'm very methodical and logical, whenever I think, I almost become rather autonomous and a bit lacking in emotion, whether I have difficulty showing my emotions or I'm just too focused is beyond me, I've still yet to learn a lot about my own self. When it comes to choosing friends, I'm shrewd. But when it comes to keeping them, it's sorta, in a way, unusually difficult where I have my lapses in some cases. Then again, we all have a broad scope on what we call friends.

What fields of RPing I prefer:
Overall, though this is ironic, I tend to prefer peaceful RPs, despite my intensive knowledge on military knowhow and having characters constantly in conflict with other characters. Though overall my preferred RP genres are as follows;
Slice-of-life RPs
Strategic, or in a way, RPs that have sort of a game in there (If you have problem understanding this, it's typically an RP with a game focus, as in say an RP where you join a faction and there are specific rules of engagement or interaction, where the groups have sorts of data about them, like wealth, motives, and those little bits and pieces which make them unique.)
Occasionally, action RPs, though not entirely my preferred so to say (I saw them too often.)
What fields of RPing I will decline often:
Romance
What people confuse for Romance
Silly, non-serious RPs
Hobbies, Interests, etc.
Arguably I'm a hopeless romantic, though now I don't relatively believe I have a shot with romance at all. I find it hard to understand love.
I like rain.
One thing you wouldn't see me not do throughout the day is gaming. I own a PS3, and my own gaming laptop which can at least peak GTA 5 at an average of 45-50 FPS were my disk speed weren't so slow.
I for some odd reason, like to clean and organize things, though most people tend to say I'm not relatively organized, or at least how it'd be done usually.
I actually like to take walks through the city on occasion.
Whenever an event's in town, I try my best to make it there with a few friends.
My main number one thing to do is to commonly play games with at least three or four friends.
I. Like. Rivalries. There isn't anything I'd like more than a group of people up against me and my friends when it comes to gaming, and we end up being rather equally skilled.
Observing how others act.
What are my characters like?
I tend to make characters that make others think, what's their motive, what are they, what do they think they are, why are they this way, etc.
The characters I've made are at a pretty broad scope, ranging from a military leader just trying to keep his family safe and his regiment in tip top shape, to a corrupted hero that trusts no one for multiple reasons. My characters are often in one universe, though I do place a few characters in other universes too. Most of my characters are made for a Neomodern, or modern setting, that has elements of steampunk, magic, and psionicry. Shortly put, most people tend to say that this would be in the so-called 'Antique Era', where technology is modern or a little more than modern, where the elements of fantasy are also in it.
Most, if not, all characters I make for slice-of-life RPs are not within this sort of universe.
